Falmouth Academy is a non-profit, coed, independent, private college-preparatory day school serving students from grades 7–12. It is located in Falmouth, Massachusetts on Cape Cod.

The Falmouth Village Green Historic District is a historic district encompassing the historic village center of Falmouth, Massachusetts. It is centered on the triangular village green formed by Main Street, West Main Street, and Hewins Street, and extends south on Locust Street to the Old Town Cemetery. This area has been the town center since 1756, and is architecturally dominated by late Colonial and Federal period buildings. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Falmouth Hospital is a private medical center located in Falmouth, Massachusetts founded in 1963. It has 95 beds. Falmouth Hospital is located just west of Palmer Avenue (Route 28) just south off of TerHeun Drive.The Emergency Department is one of the busiest in Massachusetts, providing emergency services to more than 40,000 patients on an annual basis. In 1996 it merged with Cape Cod Hospital to form the unified Cape Cod Healthcare organization.

The Lawrence Academy is a historic former school building at 20 Academy Lane in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Built in 1834, it is one of Falmouth's finest Greek Revival buildings. At first operated as a private academy, it served as Falmouth's high school from 1891 to 1895, and then as civic hall for a variety of veterans organizations. The building currently houses the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Falmouth ( FAL-məth) is a town in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 32,517 at the 2020 census, making Falmouth the second-largest municipality on Cape Cod after Barnstable. The terminal for the Steamship Authority ferries to Martha's Vineyard is located in the village of Woods Hole in Falmouth. Woods Hole also contains several scientific organizations such as the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL), the Woodwell Climate Research Center, NOAA's Woods Hole Science Aquarium, and the scientific institutions' various museums. The Falmouth Pumping Station is a historic water pumping station on Pumping Station Road in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The complex consists of an 1898 Queen Anne pumping station designed by Ernest N. Boyden, a low-lift pump and water treatment building built in 1993, a chlorination tank also built in 1993, and a house and garage added in 1932. The plant was built in response to rising demand for vacation properties and fire suppression, and continues to fulfill those functions today. The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The Central Fire Station is a historic fire station at 399 Main Street in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The two storey brick building was built in 1929 to a design by Fitchburg architects Haynes & Mason. The brick is laid in Flemish bond, and there are wooden quoins at the corners. The central doorway is flanked by pilasters, and is topped by a fanlight. The flat roof is hidden from view by a low parapet. To the left of the doorway is the main truck bay, and to its right is a group of five sash windows. Both the truck bay and window group are topped by matching low arched finish with keystone.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

Arnie Allen Diamond at Guv Fuller Field is a baseball venue in Falmouth, Massachusetts, home to the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL).

The Poor House and Methodist Cemetery (also known as the "Methodist Society Burying Ground", "Falmouth Poor House Burial Ground", "Old Methodist Cemetery", "Falmouth Work House", "Poor Farm", "Town Infirmary", or "Falmouth Artist Colony") is an historic poor house and cemetery on 744 Main Street in Falmouth, Massachusetts. It was established in 1809 and served the poor and mentally ill from 1812 until 1963. The property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, along with the Methodist Burial Ground next door where many Poor House residents were subsequently buried.The building is owned by the Town of Falmouth, and is called the Edward Marks Jr. Building. Since 1963, at different points it housed the Falmouth Retirement System and the Falmouth Historical Commission. The building used to be the home of the Falmouth Artists Guild prior to the construction of the Falmouth Art Center. At present it is vacant.

Falmouth is a census-designated place (CDP) consisting of the primary settlement in the town of Falmouth in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States. The population of the CDP was 3,799 at the 2010 census, out of 31,532 in the town as a whole. It was named after Falmouth, Cornwall, England.

The International Center for Climate Governance named WHRC the world's top climate change think tank for 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.Woodwell Climate conducts research on the causes and impacts of climate change throughout the tropics, the Arctic, and North America. The Center designs all of its work to inform policy or answer policy questions and is composed of five core units: Arctic, Carbon, Risk, Tropics, and Water.
