Port Gibson United Methodist Church is a historic United Methodist church located at Port Gibson in Ontario County, New York. The church was constructed in 1871 and is an imposing example of Romanesque Revival style. The front facade features a square, frame bell tower surmounted by a soaring, slate clad octagonal spire.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

East Palmyra Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at East Palmyra in Wayne County, New York. It is a vernacular Romanesque style brick and stone church built in 1868–1869. The front facade features a square tower composed of stone capped brick buttresses, a belfry articulated by brick pilasters and corbelled brick trim, and a tall, octagonal spire.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

East Palmyra is a hamlet in the Town of Palmyra, Wayne County, New York, United States near the Arcadia town line. It is located five miles (8 km) northeast of the Village of Palmyra and 5 miles (8 km) northwest of the Village of Newark, at an elevation of 443 feet (135 m). Harmon Cobblestone Farmhouse and Cobblestone Smokehouse is a historic home located at Phelps in Ontario County, New York. The farmhouse was constructed in 1842 and is an example of vernacular Greek Revival style, cobblestone domestic architecture. The house consists of a 2-story, three-bay side-hall main block with a 1+1⁄2-story north wing and 1-story east wing. The exterior walls are built primarily of small, red, oval, lake washed cobbles. Also on the property is a smokehouse built of both red, lake washed cobbles and irregular field cobbles. They are among the approximately 101 cobblestone buildings in Ontario County and 26 in the village and town of Phelps.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The Jackson–Perkins House is a historic home located at Newark in Wayne County, New York. It is a Tudor Revival style residence purchased in 1864, rebuilt in 1889, and remodeled to its current form in 1921–1922. It was once the home of the Jackson and Perkins families, who once operated a large rose growing facility nearby known as Jackson & Perkins Company. On the 2.66-acre (10,800 m2) property are elements of the original landscape design including the entrance drive, access path, formal fountain in a garden setting, greenhouse foundation, and many mature trees and shrubs.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006 and is currently a bed and breakfast.

US Post Office-Newark is an historic post office building located at Newark in Wayne County, New York. It was designed and built in 1911–1913 and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, James Knox Taylor. The original, main block is a 1-story, five-by-three-bay building clad in stucco and executed in the Classical Revival style. The large rear wing was added to the building in 1938–1939.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Cumorah (; also known as Mormon Hill, Gold Bible Hill, and Inspiration Point) is a drumlin in Palmyra, New York, United States, where Joseph Smith said he found a set of golden plates which he translated into English and published as the Book of Mormon. In the text of the Book of Mormon, "Cumorah" is a hill located in a land of the same name, which is "a land of many waters, rivers and fountains". In this hill, a Book of Mormon figure, Mormon, deposited a number of metal plates containing the record of his nation of Nephites, just prior to their final battle with the Lamanites in which at least 230,000 people were killed.Early Latter Day Saints assumed that the Cumorah in New York was the same Cumorah described in the Book of Mormon, based largely on a letter written by Oliver Cowdery (Letter VII), published in the July 1835 Messenger and Advocate and reprinted several times at the direction of Joseph Smith. In the early 20th century, scholars from the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS Church) and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) began to speculate that there were two such hills and that final battle in the Book of Mormon took place on a hill in southern Mexico, Central America, or South America. The LDS Church has no official position on the matter, and while these hypotheses are not held by some leaders and members of the LDS Church, they are firmly espoused by others.In the official account of Joseph Smith it is stated that Manchester, Ontario County, New York, is the location of the encounter with Angel Moroni.

The station is owned by Waynco Radio, Inc., and features programming from CBS News Radio, Premiere Networks, SportsMap, and Westwood One.WACK is the station where Lowell Paxson, later the founder of Home Shopping Network and PAX TV, began his broadcasting career. He and Joseph “Bud” Sova bought the radio station in 1962. Programming heard on WACK includes National Farm Report with Orion Samuelson, Farming America with Steve Alexander, America in the Morning, a classic hits-formatted local morning show hosted by Dean Amsler, The Glenn Beck Program, Chris Plante, The Dave Ramsey Show, The Sean Hannity Show, a regionally syndicated program hosted by Andrew Hollister, On the House with the Carey Brothers, and American Standards By the Sea.
