The Village of Newark is in the south part of the Town of Arcadia and is in the south of Wayne County. It is the most populous community in Wayne County.

The Jackson–Perkins House is a historic home located at Newark in Wayne County, New York. It is a Tudor Revival style residence purchased in 1864, rebuilt in 1889, and remodeled to its current form in 1921–1922. It was once the home of the Jackson and Perkins families, who once operated a large rose growing facility nearby known as Jackson & Perkins Company. On the 2.66-acre (10,800 m2) property are elements of the original landscape design including the entrance drive, access path, formal fountain in a garden setting, greenhouse foundation, and many mature trees and shrubs.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006 and is currently a bed and breakfast.

US Post Office-Newark is an historic post office building located at Newark in Wayne County, New York. It was designed and built in 1911–1913 and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department, James Knox Taylor. The original, main block is a 1-story, five-by-three-bay building clad in stucco and executed in the Classical Revival style. The large rear wing was added to the building in 1938–1939.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Colburn Park is a ballpark located in Newark, New York, US. It is home to the Newark Pilots (2011–present) of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League and was the home for the Newark Co-Pilots (1968–1979) and Newark Orioles (1983–1987) of the New York–Penn League, the Newark Barge Bandits (1995–1996) of the North Atlantic League and the Newark Raptors (1998–2005) of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. It opened in 1968 and seats 2,000 people.

Mud Mills is a hamlet in the Town of Arcadia, Wayne County, New York, United States. It is located three miles (5 km) north-northeast of the Village of Newark, at an elevation of 427 feet (130 m). The primary intersection in the hamlet is at Welcher Road (CR 234) and Mud Mills Road. N.Y. Route 88 passes just north of Mud Mills. A historic 2+1⁄2-story grist mill (built c. 1804) is located along Ganargua Creek on Mud Mills Road. The facility remained in operation until 1969. It has been reputed that this grist mill is the last in Wayne County with the mechanics still intact.

The station is owned by Waynco Radio, Inc., and features programming from CBS News Radio, Premiere Networks, SportsMap, and Westwood One.WACK is the station where Lowell Paxson, later the founder of Home Shopping Network and PAX TV, began his broadcasting career. He and Joseph “Bud” Sova bought the radio station in 1962. Programming heard on WACK includes National Farm Report with Orion Samuelson, Farming America with Steve Alexander, America in the Morning, a classic hits-formatted local morning show hosted by Dean Amsler, The Glenn Beck Program, Chris Plante, The Dave Ramsey Show, The Sean Hannity Show, a regionally syndicated program hosted by Andrew Hollister, On the House with the Carey Brothers, and American Standards By the Sea. Any time slots not filled by programming are filled with SportsMap. The combination of Beck, Plante, Ramsey and Hannity forms what the station dubs the "Great American Talk Show Line-Up" (prior to Beck and Plante, The Radio Factor and subsequently Dennis Miller were also included in that branding, as was The Laura Ingraham Show). Samuelson's and Alexander's programs are considered to be one show, which is given its own full half-hour time slot under the title "WACK Farm and Agribusiness Report". Sports programs heard on WACK include the Buffalo Bills, New York Yankees, Syracuse Orange and the NASCAR Cup Series, in addition to local high school sports.

East Palmyra Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at East Palmyra in Wayne County, New York. It is a vernacular Romanesque style brick and stone church built in 1868–1869. The front facade features a square tower composed of stone capped brick buttresses, a belfry articulated by brick pilasters and corbelled brick trim, and a tall, octagonal spire.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Marbletown is a hamlet in the Town of Arcadia, Wayne County, New York, United States, near the Ontario County line. It is located three miles (5 km) southeast of the Village of Newark, at an elevation of 486 feet (148 m). The primary cross roads where the hamlet is located are Marbletown Road (CR 336), Silver Hill Road and Miller Road. Marbletown Schoolhouse (built 1876), a historic building, is located on the corner of Marbletown Road and Miller Road. The school served as an educational place for area children until it closed in 1947.
