Heubach Telecommunication Tower is a 162 metre tall telecommunication tower of Deutsche Telekom AG on Glasenberg at Heubach in Baden-Württemberg. It is used for directional radio, mobile radio, police and fire brigade radio also used for FM- and TV transmission. Heubach Telecommunication Tower is equipped with an observation deck in a height of 25 metres, which is accessible for tourists by a stairway with 139 steps. However this observation deck is only open at rare occasions.

The businesses in Bartholomä are mainly German staples: a couple of bakeries and butcher shops, a local bar and grill called Zum Schwarzen Adler (the local resource for traditional German food) and its sister establishment, a medieval-themed venue for wedding banquets and such called Braighausen. There is also a complex of houses on the outskirts of town collectively called Amalienhof. Bartholomä is a 35-minute drive from Neresheim, home of the Neresheim Abbey.

Essingen is a municipality in the Ostalbkreis in the State of Baden-Württemberg in Germany. It lies about 73 km east of Stuttgart, just outside the city of Aalen. The Rems river begins just outside Essingen, on its way down the Remstal (Rems Valley) to merge with the Neckar near Stuttgart. Essingen currently has about 6000 residents, and is located on the northern end of the Swabian Alb. It is mainly a dormitory community, but does have industry along the B29 federal road and Stuttgart-Aalen railway. Recreational activities include biking, hiking, and rambling. In the winter, there are opportunities for skiing. In the middle of the village lies the Schloss (castle) and Schloss Park. The castle was built circa 1550 by the Woellwarth Family. It has remained in the family until recently when it was sold at auction causing much controversy in the village. Some villagers wanted to save the castle to be used for various activities and events but the consensus was that the castle would be too expensive to maintain and run. Essingen is a larger municipality, and the nearby villages of Lauterburg, Forst, Dauerwang, Hermannsfeld, Birkenteich and Hohenroden belong to Essingen.
