Broxbourne is a constituency in Hertfordshire represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2005 by Charles Walker of the Conservative Party.

Football Club Broxbourne Borough is a football club based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, England. They play at Goffs Lane in Cheshunt.

Goffs Academy is a selective secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, England with around 1,300 students. The school's motto was "Sola Virtus Invicta", (which roughly translates from Latin to "strength of character alone remains invincible"), in 2006 it was changed to "Respect Confidence Achievement" and in 2020 the motto was changed to "Respectful Resilient Responsible". The school has had seven head teachers to date: Dr Colin Hadley, Dr John Versey, Mrs Jan Cutler, Mrs Paula Kenning, Mrs Alison Garner, (who took over in September 2010 ), Mr Ben Pearce and Mr Mark Ellis. In the most recent Ofsted report the school was deemed "good."

Cuffley railway station serves the village of Cuffley in the Welwyn Hatfield district of Hertfordshire. It also serves other nearby settlements, namely Goffs Oak, Northaw and the west of Cheshunt. It is 13 miles 17 chains (13.21 miles, 21.26 km) down the line from London King's Cross on the Hertford Loop Line. The station opened in 1910 on the Hertford Loop Line between Enfield Chase and Hertford North as Cuffley and Goff's Oak, with the suffix being dropped some time later. The opening of the station allowed Cuffley to expand as an attractive commuter village with regular services to London King's Cross, and Broad Street (replaced by Northern City Line trains to Moorgate in 1976). Cuffley was served by steam locomotives until 1960 when they were replaced by diesels; the line was electrified in 1976.The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by Great Northern.

St Mary's Church of England High School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, England. It is a Church of England school under the direction of the Diocese of St Albans. St Mary's High School was previously located next to the Church of St Mary the Virgin in Cheshunt, but moved to a new site in the town in April 2010. The school converted to academy status in August 2012. St Mary's High School offers GCSEs as courses of study for pupils, with A Levels offered in the sixth form. Some vocational courses are also offered in conjunction with Hertford Regional College.

Cuffley is a village in the civil parish of Northaw and Cuffley, in the Welwyn Hatfield district of south-east Hertfordshire located between Cheshunt and Potters Bar. It has a population of just over 4,000 people. and is part of Broxbourne parliamentary constituency.

The Paddocks, in Crews Hill, Enfield, London, is a farmhouse that is grade II* listed with Historic England. It dates from the first half of the seventeenth century.

Theobalds Brook is a minor tributary of the River Lea which rises in the hills south of Goffs Oak in Hertfordshire, England.

Western Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery at Bulls Cross Ride in Cheshunt in the Borough of Broxbourne, Hertfordshire EN7 5HT, England. It was established as the cemetery of the Western (now Western Marble Arch) Synagogue, as well as the independent West End Great Synagogue. It is now run by the Western Charitable Foundation, which extends burial rights to the Jewish Joint Burial Society, Liberal Judaism and Waltham Forest Hebrew Congregation. It has two prayer halls – The Barnett Ohel, dating from 1967, and the Gee Ohel. Notable interments include the grave of leading writer and theologian Rabbi Louis Jacobs (1920–2006), the founder of Masorti (Conservative) Judaism in the UK, who is buried alongside his wife Sophie (Shulamit) (1921–2005).

Rags Brook is a tributary of the Small River Lea, which is a tributary of the River Lea. Rags Brook rises in the hills between Goffs Oak Cuffley in Hertfordshire, England. Brookfield Lane follows the course of the brook and the Brookfield Centre reflects the brook in its name. The highest river level recorded at Rosedale Way, Cheshunt was 1.57 metres and the river level reached 1.57 metres on 11/06/2012. The brook runs through Cuffley and Cheshunt before converging with Turnford Brook in the area known as Cheshunt Wash, before joining the Small River Lea.

Theobalds House (also known as Theobalds Palace) in the parish of Cheshunt in the English county of Hertfordshire, was a significant stately home and (later) royal palace of the 16th and early 17th centuries. Set in extensive parkland, it was a residence of statesmen Lord Burghley and his son, both leading royal advisers. James I enjoyed staying so much he acquired it from the Cecil family, further extending house and park. It was a notable example of the Elizabethan prodigy house, but was demolished as a result of the English Civil War. A new mansion known as The Cedars was built farther to the West in 1763: the house and park were then acquired and the house extended by millionaire brewers the Meux family. London's Temple Bar Gate was preserved and stood in the park from 1880 to 2003, when it was moved back to London. The mansion, which became Middlesex County Council Secondary School and then Theobalds Park College is now part of a hotel and members club known as Birch; the house is a Grade II* listed building.

Wormley-Hoddesdonpark Wood South is a 192.5 hectares (476 acres) is a biological site of Special Scientific Interest near Cheshunt in Hertfordshire. It is part of Broxbourne Woods National Nature Reserve, and is listed in A Nature Conservation Review. Wormley Wood is owned and managed by the Woodland Trust. The site is also a Special Area of Conservation.The site is oak and hornbeam woodland mainly on London clay. Plants in the variable ground flora include brambles, wood anemones and bluebells. Other habitats include marshland and acidic grassland.White Stubbs Lane runs along the northern edge of the site.
