KCEG (AM)

KRNX is a radio station airing a contemporary worship music format licensed to Fountain, Colorado, broadcasting on 780 kHz AM and 96.5 FM as part of the Air1 network. The station serves the Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas, and is owned by the Educational Media Foundation (EMF). The station went on the air in 2012 as KCEG, a classic country station. It has been programmed by EMF since 2022, when it joined Air1 as KJME; it became KRNX in 2025.

IntelliTec College is for-profit technical career training school with locations in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Albuquerque and Grand Junction. Started in 1965, the college has been in operation for more than fifty years. IntelliTec Colleges’ mission is to build a better community through quality and excellence in career training.

Evergreen Cemetery is the city-maintained cemetery for Colorado Springs, Colorado, on the National Register of Historic Places in El Paso County, Colorado. When Colorado Springs was founded in 1871 there were already two cemeteries serving El Paso County but both were quickly found to be inadequate in serving the needs of the rapidly growing city. In 1874, the founder of Colorado Springs, General William Jackson Palmer, founded a new cemetery two miles from town. The original names were the Mount Washington or Mountain Home Cemetery. In 1877, the name was changed to Evergreen Cemetery. In 1875, the original ten acres (4.0 ha) or so was deeded to the city of Colorado Springs and it has been a city owned and operated cemetery since then. In 1993 the cemetery was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The original ten acres has grown to over 220 acres (0.89 km2) with 90,000 plus burials in 2014 and the cemetery still performs about 700 burials per year. Evergreen Cemetery is the burial place of many of the people that built the city of Colorado Springs along with founders of many neighboring cities. It is also the burial place of many of the people that made millions from the last Colorado gold rush, world renowned artists, writers and composers, philanthropists, captains of industry and business, Union and Confederate soldiers, sports figures, politicians, actors, and even an astronaut.

The Chidlaw Building is a former United States Air Force facility located in the Knob Hill neighborhood of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The building was close to, but not within, the Ent Air Force Base complex, and was leased by the military for several decades, housing headquarters for several military commands, starting with the Air Defense Command (ADC) and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). When Chidlaw was completed, personnel from multiple locations, including the Ent Air Force Base, were consolidated into the new building. In 1993, the building was renovated into an office building and housed Premiere Global Services (PGi) as its main tenant. Once PGi moved out in 2011, building occupancy dropped to 45%, but still included a customer service center for Time Warner Cable. The building went into foreclosure in 2012.

The Tesla Experimental Station was a laboratory in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA built in 1899 by inventor Nikola Tesla and for his study of the use of high-voltage, high-frequency electricity in wireless power transmission. Tesla used it for only one year, until 1900, and it was torn down in 1904 to pay his outstanding debts.

Knob Hill, is a neighborhood of Colorado Springs in El Paso County, Colorado, United States, and is located northeast of downtown Colorado Springs.

The Olympic Training Center Velodrome, also known as the 7-11 Velodrome, is a velodrome in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The track is surfaced with concrete, which is unusual as Olympic-quality tracks tend to be timber or synthetics. It was built in 1983, has a length of 333.333 m (364.537 yd) and is situated at an altitude of over 1850 m (6000 ft) above sea level. In September 1984, the velodrome hosted the United States Cycling Federation Veteran's National Track Championships.The velodrome was the site of the track competition of the World Cycling Championships in 1986. The competition took place from 27 August to 1 September that year and marked the first time the World Championships was held in the US. Evelyn Stevens set the UCI women's hour record on the track in February 2016. In June 2014, a masters champion, Victor Williams, died after a crash during a race at the Velodrome.

Nazarene Bible College (NBC) is a private Nazarene Bible college in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. It was founded in 1964, chartered in 1967, and approved by the Colorado Department of Education to grant degrees in 1970. NBC has a 7:1 student-to-faculty ratio.

The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off (formerly the Colorado Balloon Classic) is a hot air balloon festival in Colorado Springs. Held each Labor Day weekend since 1977, it takes place near Prospect Lake in Memorial Park. It is the "largest and the longest continuously running hot air balloon festival in the Rocky Mountain region as well as the State of Colorado."The 2016 show in September 2016 marked its fortieth anniversary.

Memorial Park or Memorial Community Park is a community park in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It has a wide range of sports facilities, including an indoor and outdoor pool, a recreation center, trails and Prospect Lake. Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region's largest balloon festival has been held on Labor Day weekend at Memorial Park since 1977.

Atlas Preparatory School is a middle school and high school in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The National Methodist Sanatorium was a 1926 medical facility on Boulder Street in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was near the Beth-El Hospital, which is now Memorial Hospital. The Sanatorium was later used as the Air Defense Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) headquarters on Ent Air Force Base.
