Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan (SHHK) (traditional Chinese: 新加坡福建會館; simplified Chinese: 新加坡福建会馆; pinyin: Xīnjiāpō Fújiàn Huìguǎn; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Sin-ka-pho Hok-kiàn Hōe-koán), or the Singapore Hokkien Association in English, is a cultural and educational foundation. It was established in 1840 to promote education, social welfare and the preservation of the Chinese language and culture among Chinese Singaporean and other Overseas Chinese groups in Southeast Asia. As of 2014, the SHHK, which has 5000 members, is the largest clan association in Singapore.

Bedok Lighthouse (Chinese: 勿洛灯塔) is an active lighthouse facility located at the southeastern coast of Singapore. The lighthouse is located on top of a 26-storey condominium at Lagoon View Block 5000L Singapore 449293, Marine Parade Road.The light characteristic shown is one white flash every 5 seconds (Fl.W. 5s) visible for 20 nautical miles (37 km; 23 mi). It can be observed visually as a "red concrete cubicle".

Bayshore MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson-East Coast Line in Bedok, Singapore, along Bayshore Road.The station is located in the vicinity of the Bayshore Park, The Bayshore, and Costa Del Sol condominiums, as well as many other private houses and condominiums around Bayshore and Upper East Coast. The station will serve as the eastern terminus of the Thomson-East Coast Line from 2024 to 2025, where it would then be replaced by Sungei Bedok when stage five of the line opens.

Temasek Secondary School (TMS) is a co-educational government autonomous secondary school in Bedok South, Singapore. Founded in 1980, it offers secondary education leading to the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level or Singapore-Cambridge GCE Normal Level examination.

Bedok Point is a four-storey mall (with 2 basement stories) located in the town center of Bedok along New Upper Changi Road, and near Bedok MRT station. Bedok Mall is a suburban shopping mall in Bedok, Singapore and part of a mixed development compromising of retail and residential development that is integrated with a bus interchange. It was the first major shopping mall to open in Bedok and was built on the site of the former Bedok bus interchange. The mall is linked to Bedok MRT station through a link at Basement 2, and the bus interchange which is right above the mall at Level 2. It is also located next to the Bedok Interchange Hawker Centre.

Bedok South MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson–East Coast Line in Bedok planning area, Singapore.The station will be located next to Temasek Secondary School, at the intersection of Upper East Coast Road and Bedok South Road.

Bedok View Secondary School (BVSS) is a co-educational government secondary school in Bedok, Singapore. It is within walking distance from Tanah Merah MRT station.
