Mount Bishop is a mountain located on the northern border of Mount Seymour Provincial Park in the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia. It is a part of the North Shore Mountains, rising from the shores of Indian Arm to a summit of 1,509 metres (4,951 ft). Mount Bishop is a rocky summit with bluffs and old growth on its lower slopes. The mountain was named in honour of Joseph Charles Bishop, the first president of the British Columbia Mountaineering Club (BCMC), who died in 1913 after falling into a crevasse whilst climbing on Mount Baker.

Mount Seymour is a mountain located in Mount Seymour Provincial Park in the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is a part of the North Shore Mountains, rising to the north from the shores of Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm to a summit of 1,449 m (4,754 ft) above the Indian River and Deep Cove neighbourhoods. Mount Seymour is most commonly identified for its ski area of the same name, and as a popular hiking area. It is named in honour of Frederick Seymour, second governor of the Colony of British Columbia. The name is used to refer to the ridge although the main summit is one of several, and is also known as Third Peak.

Mount Seymour Provincial Park is a park in Vancouver, British Columbia's North Shore Mountains. With an area of 35 square kilometres, it is located approximately 15 kilometres north of Downtown Vancouver. The park, named after Frederick Seymour, was established in 1936. The station received approval by the CRTC on March 20, 1986, and launched on Canada Day (July 1) of that year.

CJAX was the first conventional radio station in North America to adopt the "Jack" branding, officially classified as a "variety hits" or "adult hits" format. Most "Jack" stations play a wide mix of music from the late 60s through the 90s, as well as some current adult contemporary/hot adult contemporary singles.

CKPK-FM (102.7 FM, 102.7 Now! Radio) is a radio station in Vancouver, British Columbia. Owned by Pattison Media, it broadcasts an adult contemporary format. Its studios are located on West 8th Avenue in the Fairview neighbourhood of Vancouver, while its transmitter is located atop Mount Seymour. The station first signed on with an experimental license in 1923 as CFXC, and was renamed CJOR in 1926. It moved to its long-time home of 600 AM in 1930. CJOR operated as the Vancouver affiliate of the CBC's Dominion Network from 1944 through the network's closure in 1962. It was later acquired by Jim Pattison after the death of its previous owner George Clarke Chandler. In November 2008, after over 80 years as an AM station, the station—by then adult standards CKBD—moved to FM as adult album alternative (AAA) 100.5 The Peak. In 2012, the station moved once again to 102.7 FM. Ten years later in 2022, the rock format was moved to HD Radio in favour of its current format.

CFBT-FM (94.5 MHz) is a commercial radio station in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Owned by Bell Media, the station broadcasts a Top 40/CHR format branded as 94.5 Virgin Radio. The radio studios and offices are at Robson and Burrard Street in Downtown Vancouver. CFBT has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 45,000 watts (90,000 watts peak, horizontal polarization only). The transmitter is on Mount Seymour in the District of North Vancouver.

CHQM-FM (103.5 FM) is a Canadian radio station in Vancouver, British Columbia. It broadcasts with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts from a transmitter on Mount Seymour and airs an adult contemporary format. It is western Canada's oldest and one of the most-listened-to commercial FM stations in Vancouver along with sister station CFBT-FM. It is owned by Bell Media. CHQM's studio is located at 750 Burrard Street in Downtown Vancouver. CHQM is now the largest adult contemporary station in Canada not locally owned, having overtaken from Montreal's CFQR-FM in February 2011 after that station switched ownership from Toronto's Corus Entertainment to Montreal's Cogeco. CHQM-FM is currently the most-listened-to radio station in Vancouver with a 12.4% share, according to BBM's Winter report. The station is carried on Shaw Direct channel 509, and also carried on Telus Optik TV channel 7025.

CBUFT-DT (channel 26) is an Ici Radio-Canada Télé station in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, which serves the province's Franco-Columbian population and Franco-Yukonnais in Yukon. It is part of a twinstick with CBC Television station CBUT-DT (channel 2). Both stations share studios at the CBC Regional Broadcast Centre on Hamilton Street in downtown Vancouver, while CBUFT-DT's transmitter is located atop Mount Seymour in the district municipality of North Vancouver.

CBUF-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts Radio-Canada's Ici Radio-Canada Première network at 97.7 MHz in Vancouver and on a chain of rebroadcasters around British Columbia. CBUF-FM is a non-commercial public broadcasting station airing news/talk and some music programming. The station was first launched in 1967 as the first French language Radio-Canada station west of Ontario. Its studios and offices are in the CBC Regional Broadcast Centre on Hamilton Street in Downtown Vancouver, while its transmitter is located atop Mount Seymour. CBUF also serves as the Première outlet for the Yukon, by way of a locally owned repeater in Whitehorse.
