RAF Llandow

Llandow Circuit is a small, family owned and run motorsport circuit at Llandow, Vale of Glamorgan, 15 miles (24 km) south west of Cardiff, Wales, used mainly for supercar experience days, testing, track-days and events. The lap record is held by Martin Jessopp at 41.4 seconds - set on September 16, 2009 on his Ducati 1198RS British Superbike. Jessopp wasn't aware of a record or that he was being timed, and his Ducati was still running long gearing for the North West 200 a week prior, where Jessopp hit 208 mph a top speed record, not exactly ideal for Llandow. Monoposto Racing Club lap record was 00:36.0 set by Alan Baillie in his Viking Mk1A in 1974 Llandow Kart Circuit, run by South Wales Karting Centre, is adjacent to the main circuit.

Nash Manor is a Grade I listed building in Llandow, near Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales. It became a Grade I listed building on 16 December 1952.

Llysworney (Welsh: Llyswyrni) is a small village in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales, in the community of Llandow. Llysworney is home to about 240 people and has around 100 houses. It is situated about 2 miles away from Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan. It is in the historic county of Glamorgan. The B4268 runs through the village. The Village is home to the locally well-known Carne Arms Pub, St. Tydfils Church, a duck pond, and Llysworney Garage.

The Church of St John the Baptist is a medieval church in Llanblethian in the Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales. Believed to have been built in the 12th century, the church boasts an unusual tower, consistent with the style more common in the south west of England. It underwent extensive restoration in the late 19th century, undertaken by C. B. Fowler of Cardiff. The Church of St John was listed as a Grade I building on 22 February 1963.

Llanblethian (Welsh: Llanfleiddian) is a village in the Vale of Glamorgan in Wales which sits upon the River Thaw. It makes up part of the community of Cowbridge with Llanblethian, which consists of the village itself, the larger market town of Cowbridge and Aberthin. Llanblethian first came to prominence as one of the manor lordships created by the Norman lords following the Norman invasion of Wales. It was first ruled by the St. Quentins before being taken over by the Siwards. Under the Norman lordship power in the region shifted from the village to nearby Cowbridge, where manorial affairs were conducted. Llanblethian has several fine large buildings including an early 18th century great house, a 12th-century church dedicated to St John the Baptist and its own castle, a largely ruinous structure but with a fine gatehouse known locally as St Quintins Castle.

Penllyn (Welsh: Pen-llin) is a village and community in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. It is located north west of the market town of Cowbridge. As a community it contains the settlements of Llansannor, Pentre Meryrick, Trerhingyll, Ystradowen and Penllyn itself.Penllyn is home to Penllyn Castle, a 12th-century fortification which, although ruinous, is now adjoined by a castellated mansion originally built in the late 16th century. The smaller hamlet of Graig Penllyn, about 1.3 miles (2.1 km) north of the main village, is notable for its pub the Barley Mow.

St Quintins Castle (also known as St Quentins Castle and Llanblethian Castle, Welsh: Castell Llanfleiddan) is a castle located in the village of Llanblethian, Cowbridge, Wales. It is a scheduled monument and a Grade II* listed building and is under the care of Cadw. The site was first occupied with a defensive structure in about 1102 and the gatehouse and further building work took place around 1312. It was later used as a prison and was reported as being in a ruinous state by 1741.

Llandow (between 1995 and 2022 known as Llandow/Ewenny or Llandow and Ewenny), is the name of an electoral ward in the west of the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. It covers its namesake community of Llandow as well as the neighbouring communities of Colwinston and Llangan. Since 1995 the ward has elected a county councillor to the Vale of Glamorgan Council. According to the 2011 census the population of the Llandow/Ewenny ward was 2,643.The ward of St Brides Major lies to the west, Cowbridge to the east and Llantwit Major to the south. To the north is Bridgend County Borough. From the 2022 Vale of Glamorgan Council elections, the community of Ewenny was moved into the St Brides Major ward and the ward became known simply as Llandow.
