Sunnybank Hills, Queensland

Sunnybank is a suburb in the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is known for its many Asian shops and restaurants.

Sunnybank railway station is located on the Beenleigh line in Queensland, Australia. It is one of three stations serving the Brisbane suburb of Sunnybank, the others being Altandi and Banoon. In 2008, an upgrade of the station was completed as part of the Salisbury to Kuraby triplication project. This included converting the western platform to an island, and a new footbridge with lifts.

Sunnybank State High School is a Queensland Government State School located in the suburb of Sunnybank, approximately 15 kilometres south of the city of Brisbane, in Queensland, Australia. The school has its predominant frontage on Turton Street and is also bordered by Gager and Boorman Streets. This block is shared with the Sunnybank Bowls Club and a scout hall. The school was opened in 1963, making it one of the oldest schools in the district.

Sunnybank was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland from 1992 to 2001, and again from 2009 to 2017.The district was based in the area of southern suburbs of Brisbane previously named as the suburb of Sunnybank before Sunnybank was broken up into smaller suburbs. It was first created for the 1992 state election only to be abolished ahead of the 2001 state election, essentially replaced by the new district of Stretton. Sunnybank was revived as an electorate for the 2009 state election to replace the abolished district of Mount Gravatt. It was abolished ahead of the 2017 election and replaced by the seat of Toohey.

Runcorn State High School is a government funded school located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was established in 1986 and has a population of about 850 students in Years 7 to 12 (aged 12 to 17), 90+ teaching staff, and 40+ support staff. Students are sorted into pastoral care groups within their year levels and populate from 20 to 25 in each group. The PCs are simply named as consecutive letters. There are four sporting Houses which are: Selsey (Yellow), Tarsett (Green), Nathan (Red) & Sirett (Black). Compulsory subjects; through all year levels include Maths and English. In the junior school, students must also study SOSE, Science, Physical Education and a language. Students have other options such as drama, media, art or business.
