Masonic Temple Building (Blount Street, Raleigh, North Carolina)

The Masonic Temple Building located at 133 Fayetteville Street in Raleigh, North Carolina was the state's first reinforced concrete skyscraper. Constructed in 1907 by Grand Lodge of North Carolina, the building represents the growth of Raleigh in the early 20th century and rise of the influence of Masons. The Masonic Temple Building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and is a Raleigh Historic Landmark.It's one of two Raleigh places of the same name on the National Register of Historic Places, the other being the Masonic Temple Building located on Blount Street, which was also built in 1907.

The Fedora Project is an independent project under a legal responsibility of Red Hat to coordinate the development of Fedora Linux, a Linux-based operating system, operating with the mission of creating "an innovative platform for hardware, clouds, and containers that enables software developers and community members to build tailored solutions for their users". The project also oversees Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux, a special interest group which maintains the eponymous packages. The project was founded in 2003 as a result of a merger between the Red Hat Linux (RHL) and Fedora Linux projects. It is sponsored by Red Hat primarily, but its employees make up only 35% of project contributors, and most of the over 2,000 contributors are unaffiliated members of the community.

The Pope House Museum, built in 1901, is a restored home once owned by Dr. Manassa Thomas Pope, a prominent African-American citizen of Raleigh, North Carolina. The Pope House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999, It was an official project of the Save America’s Treasures Program and the city of Raleigh took over management of it, offering tours for the first time in 2012.

Rogers-Bagley-Daniels-Pegues House is a historic home located at Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina. It was built about 1855, and is a two-story, three bay by two bay, Greek Revival-style frame dwelling with a low hipped roof and Italianate-style accents. It has a hip roofed porch with Doric order posts and bay windows. It was built by Sion Hart Rogers (1825-1874), a Congressman from and Attorney General of North Carolina. It was the home of Josephus Daniels (1862-1948) from about 1894 to 1913.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

City Market in Raleigh is a market located in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. It was founded in October, 1914. It became known as a historic place when Raleigh City Council secured a grant from the North Carolina Division of Archives & History to study the architectural resources surrounding Moore Square, in 1980. It is one of the major tourist attractions in Raleigh. In early May, 2008, the market was the location of an art project unveiling by the Visual Art Exchange. The market hosts a monthly festival, called First Friday, on the first Friday of every month.

Red Hat Tower is the headquarters of Red Hat. It is located at Raleigh, North Carolina, United States. It was completed in 2004 at a cost of $100 million as a headquarters for Progress Energy Inc and has 19 floors and 366,000 square feet (34,000 m2) of space. It is owned by J.P. Morgan Trust Co.

One Progress Plaza is a high-rise building in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was completed in 1977 as a headquarters for Carolina Power & Light (now Progress Energy Inc) and has 21 floors and 440,000 square feet (41,000 m2) of space. It is owned by Hawthorn Associates. Former names include Center Plaza, CP&L Building, and Progress Energy Building. In 1999, Carolina Power & Light announced plans for a new headquarters tower. The 2000 merger with Florida Progress Corporation which created Progress Energy increased the need for the new building. The company bought the two-acre site east of the existing headquarters in 2000.On August 27, 2003, Progress Energy named its headquarters Progress Plaza, intending the name to refer to its entire complex of buildings. Once the new headquarters was complete, the plan was to call the existing headquarters One Progress Plaza and the new building Two Progress Plaza.The January 2011 announcement that Progress will merge with Duke Energy left the status of One Progress Plaza in question, since completion of the merger would likely mean the company needs less space. However, on August 25, 2011, Red Hat announced plans to take over Two Progress Plaza, which forced Progress Energy to move its entire Raleigh operation into One Progress Plaza upon completion of the merger.

FNB Tower is a 22-story, 358-foot-tall (109 m) skyscraper in Raleigh, North Carolina. The mixed-use development contains 239 luxury apartments along with office and retail space. FNB Tower is located at 501 Fayetteville Street.

Capital Bank Plaza is a skyscraper in Raleigh, North Carolina which houses the headquarters of Capital Bank. Formerly known as 333 Corporate Plaza, the 15-story building at 333 Fayetteville Street has 135,000 square feet (12,500 m2) of space and is an "outstanding example of International Style modernism" and "features black granite on the facade with polished green marble, black granite, and cherry paneling in the lobby."Emery Roth designed the building, built in 1964. From the 1960s until 1990, the building housed the Raleigh offices of BB&T. The Equitable Life Assurance Society, which had owned the building since 1980, began a $4 million renovation in 1993, and renamed the building 333 Corporate Plaza. KB Fund IV of California bought the building in 1997 and sold it to Modern Continental of Cambridge, Massachusetts in 2000. Raleigh Development bought the building in 2004, and McKinney & Silver soon left its 40,000 square feet (3,700 m2) to move to Durham. On November 2, 2005, Capital Bank announced plans to move to five floors in the building and rename it Capital Bank Center, putting the bank's name on top. The move gave downtown Raleigh its first bank headquarters since First Citizens moved to a suburban location 15 years earlier.Capital Bank announced it would lease two floors of the ten-story One Glenwood in Raleigh. The lease included a sign on the building.

Estey Hall is a historic building on the campus of Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. It was the first building constructed for the higher education of African-American women in the United States. Built in 1873, Estey Hall is the oldest surviving building at Shaw, which is the oldest historically black college in the South and was the second institution of higher learning established for freedmen after the Civil War. The building, originally known as "Estey Seminary," was named in honor of Jacob Estey, the largest donor to the construction project. Estey Hall, located in the East Raleigh-South Park Historic District, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and is a Raleigh Historic Landmark.
