Saxthorpe

Corpusty and Saxthorpe railway station was a railway station in the North Norfolk village of Corpusty. It was opened by the Eastern & Midlands Railway as a stop on their route between Melton Constable and Great Yarmouth on 5th April 1883. It was closed in 1959. It served the villages of Corpusty and Saxthorpe as well as surrounding villages. The station not only dealt with passenger traffic but a high amount of goods traffic, a lot of which being agricultural. Corpusty & Saxthorpe station, often shortened to Corpusty station, was also home to two different coal merchants during its operational life.

Edgefield Little Wood is a 5.3-hectare (13-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Holt in Norfolk.This is coppice with standards ancient woodland on acidic sands and gravels. The oaks which have been coppiced in the past have stools which are so tall that the wood resembles high forest. It is surrounded by ancient boundary banks.There is access from Plumstead Road.

Itteringham is a village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk, some 4+1⁄2 miles (7.2 km) northwest of the market town of Aylsham. It covers an area of 8.20 km2 (3.17 sq mi) and had a population of 136 in 60 households at the 2001 census, the population reducing to 125 at the 2011 Census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of North Norfolk. The villages name origin is uncertain perhaps, 'homestead/village of Ytra's/Ytri's people' or 'homestead/village of the Ytteringas (= those dwelling outside)'. Itteringham lies in the valley of the River Bure that eventually becomes a major part of the Norfolk Broads. The village has a pub, the Walpole Arms and a village shop. The converted watermill is a historical feature within the village. Mannington Hall is included in the parish. The poet George Barker lived in the village and is buried in the churchyard.

Bluestone railway station was a station in Norfolk, England. It was on the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway between Corpusty and Aylsham North. It opened in the late 19th century, to serve the surrounding farms and settlements, and closed in 1916 owing to poor use.It was located between the villages of Heydon and Oulton, with the station lying just within Heydon's civil parish. RAF Oulton, a now-disused airfield, was constructed in 1939-40 between the village of Oulton and the site of the station.

Royal Air Force Oulton or more simply RAF Oulton is a former Royal Air Force satellite station located 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Aylsham, Norfolk and 12.5 miles (20.1 km) northwest of Norwich, Norfolk, England. The airfield was built over 1939 and 1940 as a bomber airfield with T2 type hangars and grass runways, the facility operating as a satellite airfield of nearby RAF Horsham St. Faith between July 1940 and September 1942 after which it operated as a satellite airfield of RAF Swanton Morley.
