The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a Roman Catholic parish church belonging to the Bielawa deanery of the Diocese of Świdnica.

Bielawa [bʲɛˈlava] (German: Langenbielau; Silesian: Bielawa) is a town in southwestern Poland. Since 1999, it has been situated in Dzierżoniów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship. From 1975 to 1998, it was part of the Wałbrzych Voivodeship. As of January 1, 2023, it has a population of 28 344.Bielawa lies in the central part of Lower Silesia, along the Bielawica stream in the Owl Mountains region. The town covers an area in excess of 36 square kilometres (14 sq mi). Bielawa lies at an altitude range of 280 and 964 m above sea level, in the Owl Mountains. The town is a year-round tourist destination; its outdoor attractions include four major hiking trails of varying difficulty in an 80 km2 (31 sq mi) park, as well as cycling trails and ski lifts.

Pieszyce [pʲɛˈʂɨt͡sɛ] (German: Peterswaldau) is a town in Dzierżoniów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) Gmina Pieszyce.

Gmina Pieszyce is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Dzierżoniów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the town of Pieszyce. The gmina was created in 2016 as previously it was an urban gmina, by giving a village status to four parts of Pieszyce town. The gmina covers an area of 64.64 square kilometres (25.0 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 9,466.

Dzierżoniów (Polish: [d͡ʑɛrˈʐɔɲuf] ; Silesian: Rychbach; German: Reichenbach im Eulengebirge [ˈʁaɪçn̩bax]) is a town located at the foot of the Owl Mountains in southwestern Poland, within the Lower Silesian Voivodeship (from 1975 to 1998 in the former Wałbrzych Voivodeship). It is the seat of Dzierżoniów County, and of Gmina Dzierżoniów (although it is not part of the territory of the latter, since the town forms a separate urban gmina). Established in the 13th century, Dzierżoniów is a historical Lower Silesian town that covers an area of 20.1 square kilometres (7.8 sq mi), and as of December 2021 it has a population of 32,346. It is named after Polish priest and scientist Jan Dzierżon.Unique and architecturally rich, Dzierżoniów features a central market square with elegant tenements and a town hall as well as few museums and restaurants. The Old Town is a venue for several annual events and fairs.

Myśliszów [mɨˈɕliʂuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dzierżoniów, within Dzierżoniów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) east of Dzierżoniów and 56 km (35 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Nowizna [nɔˈvizna] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dzierżoniów, within Dzierżoniów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Dzierżoniów and 51 km (32 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Dzierżoniów County (Polish: powiat dzierżoniowski) is a unit of territorial administration and local government (powiat) in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, south-western Poland. It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat is the town of Dzierżoniów, and it also contains four other towns: Bielawa, Niemcza, Pieszyce and Piława Górna. The county covers an area of 478.3 square kilometres (184.7 sq mi). As at 2019 the total population of the county is 101,118. This figure breaks down as follows: Dzierżoniów 33,239, Bielawa 29,971, Pieszyce 7,123, Piława Górna 6,412, Niemcza 2,965, rural areas 21,408.

The gmina covers an area of 142.05 square kilometres (54.85 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 9,114.

Uciechów [uˈt͡ɕɛxuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dzierżoniów, within Dzierżoniów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. It lies approximately 10 km (6 mi) north-east of Dzierżoniów, and 50 km (31 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Owiesno [ɔˈvjɛsnɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dzierżoniów, within Dzierżoniów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 12 km (7 mi) south-east of Dzierżoniów, and 57 km (35 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław. Owiesno was first mentioned as Ovesonovo in a 1260 deed and as Haverdorph in 1292. In 1945 it fell to Poland. Upon the foundations of an old Knights Templar castle Przecław of Pogorzeli (Pogarell), the Bishop of Wrocław and chancellor of Emperor Charles IV, had a palace erected in the 14th century. It was rebuilt several times and decayed after 1945 so only ruins remain. The Holy Trinity church (Polish: Kościół Św. Trójcy) was erected about 1583 and received a Boroque equipment including an altar with a Trinity painting about 1730.

Piława Dolna [piˈwava ˈdɔlna] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dzierżoniów, within Dzierżoniów County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is situated on the Piława River.
