Silwood Park

The International Pesticide Application Research Consortium (IPARC), previously the International Pesticide Application Research Centre and before that the Overseas Spray Machinery Centre (OSMC), has focused on pesticide application methods appropriate for smallholder farmers since 1955. It is now a research and training group whose purpose is to promote practical and cost-effective techniques, wherever possible reducing the use of chemical pesticides, as part of Integrated Pest Management (IPM). IPARC has been an integral part of pesticide research and teaching at Silwood Park and has specialised in the needs of small-holder farmers, application techniques for migrant pests and control of disease vectors. IPARC is a World Health Organization (WHO) collaborating centre.

Sunningdale Park is a country estate centred around a property known as Northcote House in Sunningdale, Berkshire.

The National School of Government (previously known as the Civil Service College and the Centre for Management and Policy Studies, or CMPS) was the part of the Cabinet Office that ran training, organisational development and consultancy courses for UK civil servants and private individual learners. It was mostly based at Sunningdale Park, near Ascot in Berkshire, but had other centres on Belgrave Road in London, and later in Edinburgh.

Tittenhurst Park is a Grade II listed early Georgian country house set in 72 acres (29 hectares) off London Road at Beggar's Bush near Ascot and over the parish border into Sunningdale, both in the English county of Berkshire. It was famously the home of musicians John Lennon and Yoko Ono from the late summer of 1969 until August 1971, and then the home of Ringo Starr and family from 1973 until 1988. Starr sold the property to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, in 1989.

Sunninghill and Ascot is a civil parish in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and takes up most of the south-east corner of the English county of Berkshire. It covers the town of Ascot, and the village of Sunninghill including the neighbourhoods Cheapside and South Ascot. As well as part of the village of North Ascot.

The Church of Saint Michael and All Angels is in the village of Sunninghill, in Berkshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Oxford. It is in the parish of Sunninghill and South Ascot with the church of All Souls in South Ascot. It is dedicated to Saint Michael and all angels.

The Cedars is a large detached house in Sunninghill, Berkshire. It is two storeys in height, painted white render and has a hipped slate roof. The house has a roughly rectangular plan. It was initially built in the early 19th-century and subsequently expanded. A large conservatory was added in the 20th century; this was the site of an indoor swimming pool in the 1990s. It has been listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England since March 1972. It is named for the prominent cedar trees in its grounds. A stream runs through the grounds. A thatched mock dairy building in the Gothic Revival style with stained-glass windows stands in the garden. It is also listed Grade II.

Cheapside describes a close triangle of roads in the civil parish of Sunninghill and Ascot and ecclesiastical parish of Sunninghill in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in Berkshire, England which includes a school and had a Methodist chapel. It is a cluster of houses, bungalows and cottages with small gardens for the county which contrasts with large houses with large gardens and small farms covering most of the rest of Sunninghill. It is marked on maps as the area north and east of Silwood Park and south of Sunninghill Park. Harewood Lodge followed by Titness House to its immediate east are of similar 18th century construction and have sometimes been recorded as in the Cheapside locality.

The Marist School is an independent Catholic day school for girls aged 2–18 with a co-ed Nursery in Sunninghill near Ascot, Berkshire, England. The Marist School is a Catholic school but welcomes all Christians and other faiths who are in sympathy with the schools' ethos. Once girls reach 11 they often join Senior and Sixth Form until age 18 years. In Preparatory, there are two phases: Early Years and Preparatory.

Sunningdale School is a family-run boys' preparatory independent boarding school of around 100 pupils, situated in Sunningdale in Berkshire, close to London, England.

Charters House is a Grade II listed building overlooking Sunningdale, Berkshire, built in 1938. The architects were George Adie and H. G. Hammond of Adie, Button and Partners.Charters was built for the industrialist Frank Parkinson on the site of an earlier house built in the late 1860s by William Terrick Hamilton. Parkinson’s guests included Winston Churchill and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. In 1949, the house was bought by Sir Montague Burton. It later became a corporate headquarters and has since been redeveloped as an apartment complex and spa.
