The Marist School, Sunninghill

Sunninghill is a village in the civil parish of Sunninghill and Ascot in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in the English county of Berkshire.

The Church of Saint Michael and All Angels is in the village of Sunninghill, in Berkshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Oxford. It is in the parish of Sunninghill and South Ascot with the church of All Souls in South Ascot. It is dedicated to Saint Michael and all angels.

The Cedars is a large detached house in Sunninghill, Berkshire. It is two storeys in height, painted white render and has a hipped slate roof. The house has a roughly rectangular plan. It was initially built in the early 19th-century and subsequently expanded. A large conservatory was added in the 20th century; this was the site of an indoor swimming pool in the 1990s. It has been listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England since March 1972. It is named for the prominent cedar trees in its grounds. A stream runs through the grounds. A thatched mock dairy building in the Gothic Revival style with stained-glass windows stands in the garden. It is also listed Grade II.

Charters House is a Grade II listed building overlooking Sunningdale, Berkshire, built in 1938. The architects were George Adie and H. G. Hammond of Adie, Button and Partners.Charters was built for the industrialist Frank Parkinson on the site of an earlier house built in the late 1860s by William Terrick Hamilton. Parkinson’s guests included Winston Churchill and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. In 1949, the house was bought by Sir Montague Burton. It later became a corporate headquarters and has since been redeveloped as an apartment complex and spa.

Sunninghill and Ascot is a civil parish in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and takes up most of the south-east corner of the English county of Berkshire. It covers the town of Ascot, and the village of Sunninghill including the neighbourhoods Cheapside and South Ascot. As well as part of the village of North Ascot.

The National School of Government (previously known as the Civil Service College and the Centre for Management and Policy Studies, or CMPS) was the part of the Cabinet Office that ran training, organisational development and consultancy courses for UK civil servants and private individual learners. It was mostly based at Sunningdale Park, near Ascot in Berkshire, but had other centres on Belgrave Road in London, and later in Edinburgh.

Silwood Park is the rural campus of Imperial College London, England. It is situated near the village of Sunninghill, near Ascot in Berkshire. Since 1986, there have been major developments on the site with four new college buildings. Adjacent to these buildings is the Technology Transfer Centre: a science park with units leased to commercial companies for research.There are a number of the divisions of Faculty of Natural Sciences that have a presence on the campus. Additionally, Silwood Park is home to the NERC Centre for Population Biology (CPB), the International Pesticide Application Research Consortium (IPARC).

Sunningdale Park is a country estate centred around a property known as Northcote House in Sunningdale, Berkshire.

The International Pesticide Application Research Consortium (IPARC), previously the International Pesticide Application Research Centre and before that the Overseas Spray Machinery Centre (OSMC), has focused on pesticide application methods appropriate for smallholder farmers since 1955. It is now a research and training group whose purpose is to promote practical and cost-effective techniques, wherever possible reducing the use of chemical pesticides, as part of Integrated Pest Management (IPM). IPARC has been an integral part of pesticide research and teaching at Silwood Park and has specialised in the needs of small-holder farmers, application techniques for migrant pests and control of disease vectors. IPARC is a World Health Organization (WHO) collaborating centre.

Charters School is a secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in Sunningdale, Berkshire. In December 2006 and December 2009 it was graded 1 outstanding by OFSTED.

Tetworth Hall is a large country house between Ascot and Sunninghill in the English county of Berkshire. It has been listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England since March 1972. The former estate lodge of the hall is also listed Grade II. The house dates from the early 18th century, and a wing was built to extend the house to the west in the late 18th century. It is set over two storeys and basement. It was altered in the 19th century with the removal of the second floor and chimneys occurring in the mid-20th century. 24 acres of the Tetworth estate were sold in September 1933.James Man, the founder of what became the Man Group, occupied Tetworth between 1798 and 1819. His wife, Sarah, died at the house in 1804. She is buried at the nearby church of St Michael and All Angels, Sunninghill, where the family held a pew.It was the residence of the Lady Emma Harris, widow of Admiral Sir Edward Harris in the 1890s. She died at the house in 1896. The Liberal and Liberal Unionist politician Henry Frederick Beaumont lived at Tetworth in the 1910s. His son, Captain H.B. Beaumont, resided at the house in the 1920s. Arthur Noel, 4th Earl of Gainsborough and his wife Lady Alice, rented the house in August 1925. Christie's auction house held a sale of silver plate from Beaumont's estate at Tetworth in July 1931. It was bought by the Dowager Lady Buchanan Jardine of the Buchanan-Jardine baronets in 1932. She held a house warming party during the week of Royal Ascot in June 1932. The house was rented by Lady Dorothy Charteris, the wife of Evan Charteris for Royal Ascot in 1937. The rackets player and theatrical producer Kenneth Wagg and his wife, the industrial heiress Katherine Horlick, moved from the United States to live at Tetworth in 1939. The Conservative Party MP and croquet player William Baring du Pré bought Tetworth in November 1945. The property developer Rudolph Palumbo lived at Tetworth in the 1950s.Lt-Col Robert Cradoc Rose Price, the brother of the actor Dennis Price, lived at Tetworth in the 1960s and 70s. Tetworth Hall was bought by the businessman and hotelier Jasminder Singh in the 20th century and has been the home of his extended family.

Sunningdale School is a family-run boys' preparatory independent boarding school of around 100 pupils, situated in Sunningdale in Berkshire, close to London, England.
