The St Joseph's Church (French: Église Saint-Joseph de Phnom Penh) or Main Roman Catholic Church of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is actually a school temporarily transformed into a church until the construction of an actual church. Churches of Phnom Penh were destroyed by the Khmer Rouge and still today there is no proper Roman Catholic Church in Phnom Penh. This school was spared, it offers the possibility to accommodate a large number of people. Although the majority of the faithful are of Vietnamese descent, the bishop decided that the main liturgies should be celebrated in the Khmer language. Masses are also said in other languages, in which case, the smaller chapel is used. This parish is dedicated to St Joseph.The church is located about three kilometres north of the city centre, near the Tonle Sap on the N5.

The Children's Surgical Centre (CSC) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-religious surgical hospital in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and registered as a 501(c)(3) in the United States. Founded in 1998, the centre aims to improve the quality of life for disabled children and adults by providing free rehabilitative surgery. Surgeries at CSC include orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, ent surgery and plastic and burn surgery. The organization also has a training program in order to help develop sustainable health services in Cambodia. CSC was the subject of the BBC documentary Cambodia Surgical Ward, which aired in January 2010, and was selected as one of BBC's top 10 programs of the year

Wat Phnom (Khmer: វត្តភ្នំ, Vôtt Phnum [ʋɔət pʰnom]; "Mountain Pagoda") is a Buddhist temple (wat), a pagoda, that symbolizes the name of Phnom Penh, a historical site in the record of Khmer national identity. Wat Phnom has a total height of 46 meters (150ft). The pagoda is named after Lady Penh from the story of the discovery of the five statues: one Vishnu statue and four Buddha statues.

RCAF Stadium (Royal Cambodia Armed Forces Stadium), also known as the Old Stadium or Lambert Stadium, is a stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It has a capacity of 8,000 spectators. It is the home stadium of National Defense Ministry FC of the Cambodian League. The stadium also hosts matches of the Cambodia national football team.

The National Library of Cambodia (Khmer: បណ្ណាល័យជាតិកម្ពុជា; French: Bibliothèque nationale du Cambodge) is the national library of Cambodia, based in Phnom Penh. The Khmer Rouge destroyed most of the books and bibliographical records, only less than 20% of the material survived.

The Embassy of France in Cambodia (French: Ambassade de France au Cambodge; Khmer: ស្ថានទូតបារាំងប្រចាំកម្ពុជា, romanized: s̥tʰān-dūt-pā-rāṃṅ-p̥r-cāṃk-m̥bu-jā) is the primary diplomatic mission of France to Cambodia. It is located in the capital Phnom Penh. It is known for the role it played as a place of refuge for foreigners and at-risk Cambodians after the Khmer Rouge takeover for several days until foreigners were forced to go to Thailand while the regime forced Cambodians to stay in the country.

The Embassy of the United States in Phnom Penh is the primary diplomatic mission of the United States to Cambodia. It is located in the capital Phnom Penh. The United States has had a physical diplomatic presence in Cambodia ever since relations were initiated in 1950, which was promoted to an embassy in 1952. A history of strained and suspended relations throughout the Cold War led to the embassy being forced to close at various times, including permanently between 1965 and 1969 and again between 1975 and 1991. Before the latter closure, embassy staff were evacuated in an operation similar to the more famous US evacuation of Saigon. As US-Cambodia relations improved and security threats increased through the 2000s, a new purpose-built complex was constructed. It was opened in 2006, being one of the first American diplomatic missions constructed around the post-9/11 "Standard Embassy Design" model.

Calmette Hospital (Khmer: មន្ទីរពេទ្យកាល់ម៉ែត, Môntirpéty Kălmêt) or L'hôpital Calmette, located on Monivong Boulevard in Phnom Penh, is a public hospital managed by Ministry of Health and funded by the Cambodian and French governments. It is considered as Cambodia's flagship health care centre. The name of the hospital was derived from Albert Calmette, a renowned French bacteriologist. Calmette Hospital was built in 1950 and received support from several French organizations. In 1998, it was staffed by 30 physicians and surgeons and 50 nurses. There were 250 beds, as well as surgical, medical, gynecology and obstetrics departments, along with a radiology unit (including ultrasound and echocardiogram but no computer tomography), hematology, biochemistry and microbiology laboratories for medical analyses, a central pharmacy and an outpatient clinic. There is also a 10-bed intensive care unit,It is a fee-for-service hospital that offers a second tier of care for those who are unable to pay. The hospital provides health care services for the citizens of Phnom Penh (73%), surrounding provinces (17%), and to foreigners (10%). Calmette has approximately fifteen thousand in-patients per year of which 20% are emergency visits. Trauma-related injuries accounted for 47% of the emergency visits to Calmette in 2005. It was the most common reason for seeking emergency services in 2006. In addition, cranial trauma was the leading cause of mortality from the emergency department (accounting for 38% of the mortality rate).

Doun Penh or Daun Penh (Khmer: ដូនពេញ, Donpénh [dounpɨɲ], lit. "Grandmother Penh") is a major district (khan) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Many major businesses in Phnom Penh like Sorya Shopping Center and Mokod Pich Jewelry Enterprise are located here. The district has an area of 7.44 km2. According to the 2019 census of Cambodia, it had a population of 155,069.The district is the commercial hub of Phnom Penh, marked by the Central Market with its unique art deco architecture and several major roads which emanate from and pass near the market. The district is subdivided into 11 sangkats and 134 kroms.

The Hotel Le Royal is a hotel located Daun Penh District, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It was first established in 1929. It is today operated by the Raffles Hotels & Resorts.
