It begins as Garfield Avenue as a minor street north of Grevelia Street in South Pasadena. It runs through cities like South Pasadena, Alhambra, Monterey Park, Montebello, Commerce, Bell Gardens, South Gate, on way to Paramount before it changes to Cherry Avenue on entrance to Long Beach, Lakewood, and Signal Hill, ending at Ocean Boulevard. The House at 1240 North Los Robles is a historic house located at 1240 North Los Robles Avenue in Pasadena, California. The Shingle style house was built in 1896. The two-story wood-frame house has an irregular plan with a cross gabled roof. Projecting gable ends on the second story feature curved, shingled brackets; a porch under the north gable is supported by shingled columns. The house's exterior walls are shingled, and the shingles on the gable ends are arranged to form waves, an element of Queen Anne styling. Curved hoods, also covered in shingles, cover the windows on the front and southern gable ends.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 20, 2004.

The Court at 940-948 North Raymond Avenue is a bungalow court located at 940-948 North Raymond Avenue in Pasadena, California. Owner H. R. Pompeyon built the court in 1929. The court consists of five homes arranged on both sides of a narrow courtyard. Architect N. S. Bungus designed the houses in the Spanish Colonial Revival style. The homes feature stucco walls, clay tile roofs, arched entrances, wrought iron light fixtures, and ceramic tilework.The court was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 15, 1994.

The Lamb Funeral Home in Pasadena, California was founded in 1929 by Charles F. Lamb. Charles passed the business on to his son, Lawrence Lamb, who in turn passed it on to his daughter Laurieanne Lamb-Sconce. It was a trusted family-run business until a gruesome scandal was uncovered on January 20, 1987. In the 1980s, the funeral home on Orange Grove Boulevard was run by Jerry Sconce and his wife, Laurieanne Lamb-Sconce, the granddaughter of Charles F. Lamb. The crematory was run by their son, David Sconce. In the first year that David ran the cremation services, business went from 194 cremations annually to 1,675 and continued to exponentially grow to 8,173 in 1985. The two ovens at the crematory were running 16 to 18 hours a day and David would have the bodies packed in, sometimes making it a competition with employees to see who could fit the most bodies into an oven. His employees dubbed him "Little Hitler". After an unsuccessful bid to construct a large crematorium failed and their crematorium burned down, David Sconce began cremating remains in kilns which led to criminal investigations being opened. Jerry and David were arrested on January 29, 1987, under the suspicion of stealing gold from corpses. A former employee testified that David had boasted about making US$5,000–6000 a month selling the gold to a jeweler. Laurieanne and Jerry were later charged with embezzling $100,000 (equivalent to $277,000 in 2024) in interest from 172 pre-paid funeral trust accounts. The three family members were initially charged with 41 criminal counts, most of them felonies.

Washington Court is a bungalow court located at 475 E. Washington Blvd. in Pasadena, California. The court consists of six single-family homes arranged in an "L" shape; a common walkway and garden runs along the east side of the court, while a driveway on the west side accesses a rear garage. The homes are designed in the English Cottage Revival style and feature cross gabled roofs with wooden louvers at the gable ends, wooden trim and window moldings, and arched entrances with flared eaves. F. R. Finch commissioned the court in 1924; the homes cost $2,250 each to build.The court was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 15, 1994.

The Samuel Merrill House is a historic house located at 1285 N. Summit Ave. in Pasadena, California. Noted Pasadena architects Charles and Henry Greene designed the American Craftsman style house, which was built for conservationist Samuel Merrill in 1910. The single-story, "L"-shaped house is built from redwood and Arroyo stone, giving it a natural appearance; it also uses clinker brick for decoration. The house's gable roof features overhanging eaves and exposed rafter tails, characteristic features of Craftsman design. Several pairs of banded casement windows, many with wooden frames, are located throughout the facade. The house is considered one of the best-preserved small houses designed by Greene & Greene.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 5, 2001.

The Court at 1274–1282 North Raymond Avenue is a bungalow court located at 1274–1282 North Raymond Avenue in Pasadena, California. The court consists of five one-story bungalows arranged around a central courtyard. The houses are designed in a blend of the Colonial Revival and American Craftsman styles; the former can be seen in the entrance porticos on three of the buildings, while the latter is present in the homes' overhanging eaves and exposed rafter tails. Owner Karl Valentine designed and built the court in 1924–25.The court was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 15, 1994.

Las Casitas Court is a bungalow court located at 656 N. Summit Ave. in Pasadena, California. The court, which was built in 1916, consists of ten buildings containing twelve residential units and arranged in two rows; the rows of homes flank a narrow courtyard with two walking paths. The homes in the court were designed in the American Craftsman style, and the court is one of the few surviving Craftsman-styled courts. The first four houses from the street in each row feature gable roofs with wide eaves and porches with shed roofs, while the last two houses have pergolas over their entries. The courtyard includes a torii and decorative boulders.The court was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 11, 1983.

Washington Square is a neighborhood in Pasadena, California. It is bordered by Washington Boulevard to the north, Mountain Street to the south, El Molino Avenue to the west, and Lake Avenue to the east. It is notable for having been renamed several times, having been known as part of Orange Heights until the 1950s; in the 1980s it was renamed CLEM (short for Claremont, Lake, El Molino, and Mountain; the streets then encompassing the official area), then Heather Heights until the late 1990s when it was given its current name. The neighborhood was built up gradually until the 1940s, when the last housing tract was built around Heather Square.

The court consists of eight buildings containing fourteen residential units which surround a central courtyard. Built in 1913, the court was designed by architect J. F. Walker. The houses in the court were designed in the Mission Revival style; the court is the oldest Mission Revival bungalow court in Pasadena. The houses' designs feature broken parapets along the roofs and porches with either recessed arch entrances or tiled shed roofs. The courtyard includes two buttressed piers topped by lamps.The court was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 11, 1983.
