Gebidumsee (or "Gibidumsee") is a lake near Gebidum Pass in the municipality of Visperterminen, Valais, Switzerland.

Eyholz railway station (German: Bahnhof Eyholz) is a railway station in the municipality of Visp, in the Swiss canton of Valais. It is an intermediate stop and a request stop on the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) metre gauge Brig–Zermatt line and is served by local trains only.

The station lies some 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) from the village centre of Lalden, and is about 150 metres (490 ft) higher. The station is closed until December 2024 because of track work on the railway line.

The Ottmar Hitzfeld Arena is a sports stadium in the village Gspon in Canton Valais, Switzerland. It is the highest stadium in Europe at 2,000 m (6,600 ft) above sea level. It is the home of amateur football club FC Gspon and is named after football manager Ottmar Hitzfeld.

Gspon is a village in the Swiss Alps, located in the canton of Valais. The village is situated in the eastern part of the canton in the Saastal valley above Staldenried at a height of 1,893 metres (6,211 ft). It belongs to the latter municipality. Gspon has a population of 585. Accessible by cable car from Stalden via Staldenried, Gspon is a car-free village and a popular year-round tourist destination. In winter Gspon's small ski area is kept open.

Brig, officially Brig-Glis (French: Brigue-Glis; Italian: Briga-Glis), is a historic town and municipality in the district of Brig in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. The current municipality was formed in 1972 through the merger of Brig (city), Brigerbad and Glis. Together with other Alpine towns, Brig-Glis engages in the Alpine Town of the Year Association for the implementation of the Alpine Convention to achieve sustainable development in the Alpine Arc. Brig-Glis was awarded Alpine Town of the Year 2008. The official language of Brig is (the Swiss variety of Standard) German, but the main spoken language is the local variant of the Alemannic Swiss German dialect.
