Gärsthorn

The Alpjuhorn is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, located north of Mund in Valais. It is situated on the ridge separating the Baltschiedertal and the Gredetschtal.

Lalden is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Valais and municipality of Lalden. The station is located on the Lötschberg line of the BLS AG. The station lies some 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) from the village centre of Lalden, and is about 150 metres (490 ft) higher. The station is closed until December 2024 because of track work on the railway line.

Eyholz railway station (German: Bahnhof Eyholz) is a railway station in the municipality of Visp, in the Swiss canton of Valais. It is an intermediate stop and a request stop on the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) metre gauge Brig–Zermatt line and is served by local trains only.

The Stockhorn (3,212 m) is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, located north of Baltschieder in the canton of Valais. It overlooks the Baltschiedertal and lies south of the Bietschhorn. On the south side of the mountain is located the Stockhornbiwak (2,598 m), a mountain shelter operated by the Swiss Alpine Club.

Eggerberg is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Valais and municipality of Eggerberg. The station is located on the Lötschberg line of the BLS AG, and is adjacent to Eggerberg village.The station is served by the following passenger train: A connecting PostAuto bus service links the station and village with Finnen, Eggen, Baltschieder and Visp.Eggerberg station is an intermediate point of the Lötschberg South Ramp walking trail, which parallels the south ramp of the Lötschberg railway as it descends the northern flank of the Rhone valley into Brig. The walk covers the 23 kilometres (14 mi) from Hohtenn station to Brig, passing by the stations of Ausserberg, Eggerberg and Lalden on the way, and offering views south over the Rhone valley.

Eggerberg is a village and municipality in the district of Brig in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. Besides the village of Eggerberg, the municipality includes the settlements of Berg, Eggen, Finnen, Mühlackern and Wirmschland.

Brig, officially Brig-Glis (French: Brigue-Glis; Italian: Briga-Glis), is a historic town and municipality in the district of Brig in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. The current municipality was formed in 1972 through the merger of Brig (city), Brigerbad and Glis. Together with other Alpine towns, Brig-Glis engages in the Alpine Town of the Year Association for the implementation of the Alpine Convention to achieve sustainable development in the Alpine Arc. Brig-Glis was awarded Alpine Town of the Year 2008. The official language of Brig is (the Swiss variety of Standard) German, but the main spoken language is the local variant of the Alemannic Swiss German dialect.

Visp (French: Viège) is the capital of the district of Visp in the canton of Valais in Switzerland.

The Wiwannihorn is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, located north of Ausserberg in the canton of Valais. It lies on the range between the Bietschtal and the Baltschiedertal, south of the Bietschhorn.The Wiwannihorn can be climbed easily on its normal route with proper equipment. Several more technical, multi-pitch free climbing and alpine climbing routes lead to the top as well. The most famous is probably the Steinadlerroute. The basecamp for climbing the Wiwannihorn is the Wiwanni hut that is accessible from Ausserberg via a hiking trail or a via ferrata through the Baltschieder valley.

The Tieregghorn is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, located north of Ausserberg in the canton of Valais. It lies south of the Bietschhorn, on the range separating the Bietschtal from the Baltschiedertal.
