Märe

The Chänelpass (1,791 m) is a high mountain pass of the Bernese Alps, located on the border between the Swiss cantons of Fribourg and Bern. It connect Plaffeien (Fribourg) with Oberwil im Simmental (Bern). The pass lies on the watershed between the Sense and the Simme and is located between the Märe and the Schafarnisch. It is traversed by a trail.

The Schibe is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, located near Oberwil im Simmental in the canton of Bern.

The Schafarnisch is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, located on the border between the Swiss cantons of Fribourg and Bern. It lies north of Boltigen, in the group culminating at the Schafberg.

The Widdersgrind (2,104 m) is a mountain in the Bernese Alps north of Oberwil in the canton of Bern. Its summit is the tripoint between the valleys of Hengstschlund, Morgete, and Simmental.

The Ochsen (or Ochse) is a 2,188.4 metres high mountain in the Bernese Alps, overlooking Schwefelbergbad in the canton of Bern. It is the highest mountain of the Gantrisch chain. The Louigrat is the easiest path (T3, slightly exposed at the top: very steep rocky passages), taking approximately 3 hours. Another path goes via the north ridge via Chli Ochsen (T4, steep, rocky and slippery). There is a memorial just below the small summit area.

The Hohmädli (2,021 m) is a mountain of the Bernese Alps, located north of Oberwil in the canton of Bern. It lies east of the Widdersgrind, on the range between the valleys of Morgete and Simmental.

Boltigen is a municipality in the Obersimmental-Saanen administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. Boltigen is a mixed community, with traits both of a burgess community and a village community. Beside it, there is also a reformed evangelical Church community. The history of the community goes back to 1386 and the so-called Freiheitsbrief von 1386. The community president is Hermann Maurer, since 1 January 2005.

The Kaiseregg is a mountain in the Bernese Alps, overlooking Schwarzsee in the canton of Fribourg. Its summit, which can be accessed by trail, is located a few hundred meters from the border with the canton of Bern.
