Cetariu (Hungarian: Hegyközcsatár) is a commune in Bihor County, Crișana, Romania with a population of 2,165 people. It is composed of four villages: Cetariu, Șișterea (Siter), Șușturogi (Sitervölgy) and Tăutelec (Hegyköztóttelek). It also included three other villages until 2003, when they were split off to form Paleu Commune.

Biharia (Hungarian: Bihar) is a commune in Bihor County, Crișana, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Biharia and Cauaceu (Hegyközkovácsi). In 2011 it had 4,205 inhabitants, of whom 85.87% were Hungarians, 12.12% Romanians and 1.73% Roma.

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Mary (Romanian: Catedrala romano-catolică Adormirea Maicii Domnului; Hungarian: nagyváradi Nagyboldogasszony székesegyház) also called the Catholic Cathedral of the Assumption, is the cathedral church of the Latin Diocese of Oradea Mare. It is located in the city of Oradea, northwest Romania.The basilica was built between 1752 and 1780, and was designed by Italian architect Giovanni Battista Ricca (1691-1757). After the death of the first architect, construction was completed by the Viennese Franz Anton Hillebrandt and the church was adorned with baroque decorations of Austria.

Oradea (UK: , US: , Romanian: [oˈrade̯a]; German: Großwardein [ˌɡʁoːsvaʁˈdaɪn]; Hungarian: Nagyvárad [ˈnɒɟvaːrɒd]) is a city in Romania, located in Crișana. The seat of Bihor County, Oradea is one of the most important economic, social and cultural centers in the western part of Romania. The city is located in the north-west of the country, nestled between hills on the Crișana plain, on the banks of the river Crișul Repede, that divides the city into almost equal halves. Located about 10 km (6.2 mi) from Borș, one of the most important crossing points on Romania's border with Hungary, Oradea ranks ninth among most populated Romanian cities (as of 2021 census). Mihai Eminescu National College (Romanian: Colegiul Național "Mihai Eminescu" Oradea) is a high school located at 18 Episcop Roman Ciorogariu Street, Oradea, Bihor County, Romania. It is named after Mihai Eminescu, the national poet, and is one of the most prestigious schools in Bihor County.

Holy Trinity Church (Romanian: Biserica Sfânta Treime) is a Romanian Orthodox church located at 13 Parcul Traian Street, Oradea, Romania. It is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The church was begun in 1692, after the loss of Ottoman control over the city during the Great Turkish War, in favor of the Habsburg monarchy. Originally a Roman Catholic church, it was initiated by Bishop Ágoston Benkovich and dedicated to Saint Bridget of Sweden. It was the first Catholic church outside the Oradea Citadel, located in the Olosig district. It burned in 1703 and was rebuilt in 1722.Ship-shaped, it has a pentagonal altar; the exterior features a small wooden tower. Initially Baroque in style, as seen in the pediment decorations, it is now Eclectic. The interior frescoes date to 1982–1985. After its Roman Catholic period, the church passed to the Ruthenian Greek Catholic community, who dedicated it to the Holy Spirit. Administered by the Oradea Mare Eparchy from 1786, it was controlled by the Hajdúdorog Eparchy between 1912 and 1919. The church was Greek-Catholic until 1948, when the new communist regime outlawed the denomination.The church is listed as a historic monument by Romania's Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs.

Emanuil Gojdu National College (Romanian: Colegiul Național Emanuil Gojdu) is a high school located at 3-5 Spiru Haret Street in Oradea, Romania. It is named after Emanoil Gojdu. The College, which was founded on 15 June 1919, has a long history in teaching, being focused on science subjects. "Țara visurilor noastre" is its official magazine. The school building, with a construction date of 1895–1896, was designed by architect Ferenc Knapp; it is listed as a historic monument by Romania's Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs.

Varat Eyalet (also known as Pashaluk of Varat or Province of Varat; Ottoman Turkish: ایالت وارد; Eyālet-i Vārad) was an administrative territorial entity of the Ottoman Empire formed in 1660. Varat Eyalet bordered Ottoman Budin Eyalet in the west, Temeşvar Eyalet in the southwest, Egir Eyalet in the northwest, vassal Ottoman Principality of Transylvania in the southeast, and Habsburg Royal Hungary in the north.

The Moon Church (Romanian: Biserica cu Lună) is a Romanian Orthodox church located at 10 Piața Unirii, Oradea, Romania. It is dedicated to the Dormition of the Mother of God.
