Castles N' Coasters

Desert Storm is a double looping roller coaster located at Castles N' Coasters, an amusement park in Phoenix, Arizona. It is one of the two roller coasters there, the other being the smaller Patriot roller coaster. Desert Storm passes over top of the Li'l Indy go-cart track and extremely close to Splashdown, the park's log flume. The track has a green and white color scheme and the queue line passes by the Flying Bugs and Spinning Tops kiddie rides, climbs stairs and enters the boarding area. Desert Storm is also briefly featured in the Macgillivray Freeman film Dream Big.

Splashdown is a log flume located at Castles N' Coasters, a theme park in Phoenix, Arizona. It is noted for its two drops, as well as many other special features. The whole ride is themed after a logging expedition through Polynesia. Splashdown is also known for narrowly being dodged by the nearby Desert Storm roller coaster.

Metro Parkway is an under-construction elevated light rail station on the Valley Metro system in Phoenix. It is the northern terminus of the Northwest Extension Phase II, located on the east side of the former Metrocenter mall. The station includes a park and ride facility and relocated bus transit hub. It is the first elevated station in the system and it is expected to open on January 27, 2024.As of 2020 the Metrocenter Transit Center is served by Valley Metro Bus Routes 27, 35, 90, 106, and the I-17 Rapid.

Metrocenter was a regional enclosed shopping mall in northwest Phoenix, Arizona. It was bounded by Interstate 17, 31st, Dunlap and Peoria Avenues. Before its closure, the three most recently open anchor stores were Harkins Theatres, Walmart Supercenter, and Dillard's Clearance Center; three additional vacant anchor stores included former Sears, JCPenney, and Macy's locations. The mall featured 100 stores, a 12 screen movie theater, and a food court. Since January 2021, the mall had been owned by the Carlyle Development Group based in New York City. The mall officially closed on June 30, 2020. Parts of the film Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure were filmed in the mall.

Glendale Union High School District No. 205 is a school district headquartered in Glendale, Arizona, United States. The union high school district operates nine comprehensive high schools and serves most of Glendale and a portion of Phoenix. It is the second largest high school-only district preceded by Phoenix Union. Glendale Union High School District schools receive the graduates of the Washington Elementary School District, Glendale Elementary School District, and many students from the Madison School District. Glendale Elementary district is located in Glendale, Arizona, Madison schools are in North Central Phoenix and the Washington Elementary schools are in North Phoenix and Sunnyslope.

Cortez Lake is located in Cortez Park in northwest Phoenix, Arizona, United States, at the northeast corner of 35th Avenue and Dunlap Avenue.

19th Avenue/Dunlap is a station on the Valley Metro light rail line in Phoenix, Arizona. It was opened as part of Phase 1 of the Northwest Extension of the system on March 19, 2016, and will remain the end of the line until January 27, 2024, when Phase 2 extends the line to Metro Parkway.

El Cid Castle was a landmark structure located on the opposite side of the western boundary of Sunnyslope, Arizona. The controversial castle, built by the late Dr. Kenneth Hall, was supposed to be a bowling alley which resembled a Moorish Castle. Construction on the structure began in 1963 and was completed in 1980.

Westwind Preparatory Academy was a college preparatory public charter high school in Phoenix, Arizona, operated by Westwind Children's Services, a nonprofit operator of several other Phoenix-area charter schools, Westwind Community Schools. The school opened in 1998 and closed in 2015. It received accreditation in 2001 as a college preparatory high school. The school was located on a 5-acre site near 19th Avenue and Northern in Phoenix, with student housing adjacent to the campus. The school was an International Baccalaureate World School from 2010 until its closure. It also had an international division approved with SEVIS, and 20% of its students attended on a tuition basis.
