It is also the third-largest hotel complex in the world by number of rooms and second-largest hotel resort complex in the United States behind the combined The Venetian and The Palazzo. When it opened in 1993, the MGM Grand was the largest hotel complex in the world.Owned by MGM Growth Properties and The Blackstone Group and operated by MGM Resorts International, the 30-floor main building is 293 ft (89 m) high. The property includes five outdoor pools, rivers, and waterfalls that cover 6.6 acres (2.7 ha), a 380,000 sq ft (35,000 m2) convention center, the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and the Grand Spa. It also houses numerous shops, night clubs, restaurants and the largest casino in Clark County, which occupies 171,500 sq ft (15,930 m2).Located on the Tropicana – Las Vegas Boulevard intersection, pedestrians are not allowed to cross at street level. Instead, the MGM Grand is linked by overhead pedestrian bridges to its neighboring casinos: to the south across Tropicana Avenue, the Tropicana, and to the west across the Strip, New York-New York.

Studio 54 opened in Las Vegas in December 1997 and closed in February 2012 at the MGM Grand.Designed to be a replica of the original Studio 54 nightclub, it had most of the original elements and equipment, including the "Man in the Moon" and the spoon, however the two were never displayed together.The club was visited on opening night by Elton John, one of the most frequent guests at the original location. It was one of Las Vegas' most popular dance clubs, with a reputation for a strict door policy, but not as strict as the original's. However, the newer site is cause for contention amongst fans of the original location, who have charged that the Las Vegas venue is nothing more than Studio 54 in name only.The venue is mentioned in the song Vegas Two Times by the Stereophonics.

It was ranked as one of the Top 5 best restaurants in the United States by Gourmet magazine.

TABU Ultra Lounge opened in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand in 2004 and closed in April 2013. It was a 3,300 square feet (310 m2) venue with a capacity of 350 people. It won the "Best Lounge" from Club Systems International's prestigious Club World Awards in 2004, 2005 and 2006, "Best Lounge" and "Best Bottle Service" by the 2009 Club World Awards, as well as the "Best Ultra Lounge – staff pick" by Las Vegas Weekly's "Vegas Best of 2009". Showcase Mall is a shopping center on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is known for its landmark facade, featuring a 100-foot (30 m) tall Coca-Cola bottle and a colossal bag of M&M's.

The New Las Vegas Stadium is a retractable roof ballpark to be built on the site of the Tropicana Las Vegas in Paradise, Nevada. It is planned as the new home stadium of the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB), when the team relocates from Oakland to Las Vegas. The new stadium would mark the first time that the Athletics franchise has played in a new stadium of their own without another sports team tenant since the completion of Philadelphia's Shibe Park in 1909. It is proposed to open for the 2028 MLB season. The stadium was estimated to cost $1.5 billion, of which taxpayers would pay $380 million.

The Tropicana Las Vegas is a hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties and operated by Penn National Gaming. It offers 1,467 rooms, a 50,000-square-foot (4,600 m2) gaming floor, and 72,000 sq ft (6,700 m2) of convention and exhibit space.This location, the Tropicana – Las Vegas Boulevard intersection, has the most hotel rooms of any intersection in the world. Pedestrians are not allowed to cross at street level. Instead, the Tropicana is linked by overhead pedestrian bridges to its neighboring casinos: to the north across Tropicana Avenue, the MGM Grand, and to the west across the Strip, the Excalibur. On April 13, 2021, Bally's Corporation announced it entered a deal to acquire the Tropicana from Gaming and Leisure Properties in a deal valued at $308 million. Bally's Corporation's acquisition of Tropicana is expected to close in early 2022. Gaming and leisure properties will retain ownership of the land underneath the property and has agreed to initial 50-year lease.

Oyo Hotel & Casino (stylized as OYO Hotel & Casino) is a casino hotel near the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, United States. It is owned by Highgate and Oyo Hotels & Homes, and its casino is operated by Paragon Gaming. It is located next to the Tropicana and across the street from the MGM Grand Las Vegas. The hotel has 696 rooms with a 35,000-square-foot (3,300 m2) casino. Since opening in 1973, the property has been renamed several times, most recently as the Hôtel San Rémo (1989–2006) and the Hooters Casino Hotel (2006–2019).

The Big Apple Coaster (formerly Manhattan Express and The Roller Coaster) is a steel TOGO hyper roller coaster at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. The ride's trains are themed to New York City taxicabs. It is the only roller coaster by TOGO still operating in North America.

Blvd (stylized as BLVD) is a three-story shopping center under construction on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is being developed by Gindi Capital, in partnership with entrepreneurs Andrew and Peggy Cherng. The project was announced in 2019, but delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Construction began in 2023, and the project is scheduled to open in early 2025.
