Hordle

Ashley is a village located in the southwest of Hampshire, England. It lies on the eastern outskirts of New Milton in the New Forest district, and is two miles (3 km) inland from the sea. Its history dates back to the Domesday book of 1086, when two estates were recorded. In the 15th century much of Ashley merged with a neighbouring manor, and the estate became known as Ashley Arnewood. As a village, Ashley began to develop in the 19th century when a church and a school were built. Most of the current village was built in the 20th century, and today Ashley is effectively a suburb of New Milton.

Downton is a hamlet in Hampshire, England, clustered around a crossroads on the A337 road (Lymington to New Milton) with a lane to the sea southwards whilst another lane leads north to Hordle. Most of the population today live in the part that has been re-allocated to the civil parish of Milford-on-Sea (in which statistical urban area the majority of the population at the 2011 Census was included); the area north of the A337 is in Hordle. Part of the Green belt, its population fluctuates as it has two holiday/static home parks with amenities and some small camp sites.

Tiptoe is a small Hamlet in the New Forest National Park in Hampshire. It lies mostly within the civil parish of Hordle and partly within the civil parish of Sway. It is 1+1⁄2 miles (2.4 km) west of the village of Sway, and about 2 miles (3.2 km) northeast of the town of New Milton.

Avon Water is a small river draining some of the southwest of the New Forest in Hampshire to The Solent. West of the upper part of its archetypally dendritic drainage basin, which has formed due to the forest's heath soil, is the due south, much larger River Avon, rising in Wiltshire.

Sway railway station serves the village of Sway in Hampshire, England. It is located on the South West Main Line from London Waterloo to Weymouth. It is 95 miles 45 chains (153.8 km) down the line from Waterloo.

New Milton is a market town in southwest Hampshire, England. To the north is in the New Forest and to the south the coast at Barton-on-Sea. The town is equidistant between Lymington and Christchurch, 6 miles (9.7 km) away.

Sway is a village and civil parish in Hampshire in the New Forest national park in England. The civil parish was formed in 1879, when lands were taken from the extensive parish of Boldre. The village has shops and pubs, and a railway station on the South West Main Line from Weymouth and Bournemouth to Southampton and London Waterloo. It is the site of Sway Tower, a 66-metre (217 ft) concrete folly built in the 19th century. Sway is on the southern edge of the woodland and heathland of the New Forest. Much of Marryat's novel The Children of the New Forest is set in the countryside surrounding Sway.

Everton is a village in the civil parish of Hordle, 2+1⁄2 miles (4.0 km) west of Lymington, in the English county of Hampshire.

Milford on Sea LNR is a 20.6-hectare (51-acre) local nature reserve in Milford on Sea in Hampshire. It is owned and managed by Milford On Sea Parish Council.The Danes Stream runs through this nature reserve, which has ancient woodland, grassland and winding paths.

New Milton railway station serves the town of New Milton in Hampshire, England. It is 98 miles 44 chains (158.6 km) down the line from London Waterloo station. It also serves nearby places including Milford on Sea, Bashley, Ashley, Hordle and Barton on Sea.

Ballard School is a private, private school located in New Milton, Hampshire, for children aged 2 to 16 years. The Headmaster is Andrew McCleave (since 2018).Ballard School offers scholarships and bursaries, and does not require an entrance exam for admission The school regularly holds Open Mornings for prospective pupils and parents.

Bashley Football Club is a football club based in Bashley, near New Milton, Hampshire, England. They are currently members of the Southern League Division One South and play at Bashley Road.
