Fernhill Park is a landed private estate and country house, situated on the edge of the village of Cranbourne in the civil parish of Winkfield in the English county of Berkshire, within the former bounds of Windsor Forest, four miles from Windsor, and in close vicinity of the Windsor Great Park.

The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club is a polo club located near Windsor, Berkshire and home to the Prince of Wales tournament - one of the most coveted high goal trophies in Polo. It is set in a 230-acre estate, one mile from Ascot Racecourse, and comprises six polo fields, an arena, clubhouse and a polo school. The club is also home to The Arena Gold Cup, the most prestigious winter season tournament and The Arena Polo Masters, currently the highest goal game played in the winter.Established in 1985, by music mogul Bryan Morrison, the club’s founding member and patron was H.R.H. The Prince of Wales with both the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry as players.

Woodside is a hamlet in Berkshire, England, within the civil parishes of Winkfield and Sunninghill and Ascot in the boroughs of Bracknell Forest and Windsor and Maidenhead. The settlement lies near to the A332 road and is approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north-east of Ascot Racecourse and largely surrounded by Windsor Great Park. In the early Twentieth Century the south of the hamlet was the site of the Ascot Brick Works. It has two pubs The Rose and Crown and the Duke of Edinburgh but no shops or church, as such it is probably best described as a hamlet and not a village. It features several historic houses and buildings (mostly in the northern part of the hamlet). In the 19th and early 20th Century there were two distinct hamlets: Woodend (to the southern end) which included a huge country house called Woodend House (last reference to this country house is on an 1886 map and this is now completely demolished). Woodend is in the parish of Sunninghill and Ascot and in 2020, there are a few cottages called Woodend Cottages along the Windsor Road towards Ascot. Woodside (to the northern end up to the Mounts Hill roundabout, better known as The Peanut Roundabout due to its shape). Woodside is in the parish of Winkfield, Bracknell Forest.Nowadays the name Woodend has all but disappeared as a descriptor of any part of the hamlet and Woodside is applied to the whole hamlet. The parish and borough boundaries still run through the middle of the Woodside and right through the centre of the Duke of Edinburgh public house. This boundary also runs along a bridleway called Hodge Lane and the old granite boundary markers are still there to be seen, they reflect the historic boundary between the Royal land (now Windsor and Maidenhead) and the East Hampstead land (now Bracknell Forest). The Thatched Cottage in Woodside Village is said to have once been the residence given to the Headmaster of Cranbourne School. In 2021 it had a population of 500.

Ascot Place is an 18th-century mansion on the edge of Windsor Great Park, set in 400 acres (1.6 km2) of parkland between Cranbourne, North Ascot and Winkfield in the English county of Berkshire. It is located close to Windsor Great Park and Ascot Racecourse. The mansion itself and various statues and other structures in its garden are Grade II listed, whilst a grotto to the south of house and at west end of lake is Grade I listed.Records of Ascot Place date back to 1339, with owners including baked beans tycoon H.J. "Jack" Heinz II. In 1989 Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the emir of Abu Dhabi, and one of the richest heads of state in the world worth hundreds of billions bought the mansion for a then record sum of £18million. It has remained with the Sheikh ever since.

The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is a Royal Borough of Berkshire, in South East England. It is named after both the towns of Maidenhead and Windsor, the borough also covers the nearby towns of Ascot and Eton. It is home to Windsor Castle, Eton College, Legoland Windsor and Ascot Racecourse. It is one of four boroughs entitled to be prefixed Royal and is one of six unitary authorities in the county, which has historic and ceremonial status.

Brookside is a village in the civil parish of Winkfield in the county of Berkshire, England.The settlement lies east of the A332 road and is approximately 0.5 miles (0.80 km) north of Ascot Racecourse.

Oakley Green is a village in the eastern part of the civil parish of Bray in the English county of Berkshire.

Papplewick School is a non-selective independent day and boarding preparatory school for boys aged 6–13 (Years 2–8) in Ascot, England. It occupies a 15-acre semi-rural campus across from Ascot Racecourse.

Legoland Windsor Resort (), styled and also known as Legoland Windsor, is a theme park and resort in Windsor, Berkshire in England, themed around the Lego brand. The park opened on 17 March 1996 and is currently operated by Merlin Entertainments. The park's attractions consist of a mixture of Lego-themed rides, models, and building workshops targeted at children between three and twelve. In 2019, the park had 2.43 million visitors, making it the most visited theme park in the United Kingdom. However, in 2020 the park had a very limited operating season due to the coronavirus pandemic and limited capacity. As a result of this Legoland Windsor had a huge drop in attendance and was the 4th most visited park in the U.K. in 2020. Overall, attendance has steadily risen since 2005. Legoland Windsor regularly draws more attendees than the original Legoland Billund Resort in Denmark; in 2011, it became the tenth-most popular theme park in Europe, a position it has held every year since. Legoland Windsor typically opens from March to January, with closures on some days.

Windsor Safari Park was a popular family attraction built on St Leonard's Hill on the outskirts of the town of Windsor in Berkshire, England; it has since been converted into the site of Legoland Windsor. Billed as "The African Adventure", the park included drive-through animal enclosures, aviaries, a dolphinarium and minor theme park rides. The park's drive-through enclosures featured lions, tigers, bears, cheetahs and baboons. In addition, the park had a Serengeti zone (featuring camels, llamas, giraffes, zebras and buffalo), an elephant enclosure, a hippo lake, chimpanzees, birds of prey, parrots and butterflies. The park closed in 1992.

The Ascot Golf Club was founded in 1887, and became a Royal Club by command of Queen Victoria later that year. It is the second oldest, and the only Royal, golf club in Berkshire. The course was designed by John Henry Taylor, who went on to design many courses in Europe. One of the earlier competitions played on the course was the Boys Amateur Championship, which was first played in 1921. The Trophy for this was presented to The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, who continue to host the competition annually. The original course was at Ascot Heath, in the middle of Ascot Racecourse. In 2000, the racecourse owners gave the club notice to vacate the land, and eventually a new location was found on the other side of the road in Sunninghill Park. The new clubhouse opened to members in December 2004 and was officially inaugurated in 2006 by the patron of the club, Prince Andrew, Duke of York. Golf continued on Ascot Heath until August 2005 when it moved to the new course.

Cranbourne Lodge was a keeper's lodge for the royal hunting grounds of Cranbourne Chase, once adjoining but now part of Windsor Great Park in the English county of Berkshire. All that remains of it today is the Grade II* listed Cranbourne Tower.
