Yeshiva Toras Chaim (YTC) is an all-male, Lithuanian (Litvish)-style Talmudic academy in the West Colfax neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. YTC was founded in Denver in 1967. It is headed by the Roshei Yeshiva, Rav Yisroel Meir Kagan, and Rav Yitzchok Wasserman, both students of Rabbi Aharon Kotler, founder and Rosh Yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, New Jersey. The student body is multi-state, including pupils from the East Coast.

The Denver Eagle is a gay bar in Denver, Colorado, United States. It is one of many unaffiliated gay bars in dozens of different cities using the "Eagle" name. It caters primarily to the leather and bear subcultures. The original Denver Eagle was located at 1475 36th St. in the RiNo Arts district of Denver. It was known for its large gold penis shaped door handles. In April 2016 The Denver Eagle closed due to the property being bought by a developer and The Eagle losing their lease. In March 2018, a new location opened at 1246 E. 31st Ave. It closed a few months later. In 2022, new owners purchased a building at 5110 W Colfax Ave. The building was home to "The Den" a now defunct gay bar. The grand opening was held March 19-22 with the theme "The Eagle Has Landed." The Denver Eagle is one of a few black-owned gay bars in the United States.

The Bliss House in the West Colfax neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, is a Queen Anne-style house built in 1890. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 as Building at 1389 Stuart Street.It is a two-and-a-half-story house designed by architects Lang & Pugh with exterior mostly covered by fishscale shingles. It has been described as "basically Queen Anne in style but with great originality of detail.... The design is complex with a combination of bays, unusual windows and a dramatic multi-planed roofline."It was home of Dr. Gerald Bliss and his second wife "for all of their married life, both dying in 1945. Dr. Bliss was a Civil War veteran and had been a member of the honor guard over Lincoln's casket. He had gone to South Dakota where he practiced medicine for many years before retiring and moving to Colorado. He lived nearly fifty years after his retirement and was 99 years old when he died."The house is a Denver Landmark. It is one of a cluster of six houses designed by Lang, five of which are surviving, that illustrate his architectural creativity.

Sheridan is a below grade light rail station on the W Line of the RTD Rail system. It is located alongside the banks of the Lakewood Gulch under Sheridan Boulevard, after which the station is named. The station straddles the border between Denver and Lakewood, Colorado, but RTD lists the station as being in the city of Denver. A marking etched into the platform indicates the border location. The station opened on April 26, 2013, on the West Corridor, built as part of the Regional Transportation District (RTD) FasTracks public transportation expansion plan and voter-approved sales tax increase for the Denver metropolitan area.The station is connected to Sheridan Boulevard by a pair of elevators and stairs on either side of the roadway, and each with stops for RTD Bus routes. Sheridan station has an 800 space park and ride garage located alongside Sheridan Boulevard, south of the station and across Lakewood Gulch.

It is located alongside the banks of the Lakewood Gulch at its intersection with Perry Street, after which the station is named, in Denver, Colorado.The station opened on April 26, 2013, on the West Corridor, built as part of the Regional Transportation District (RTD) FasTracks public transportation expansion plan and voter-approved sales tax increase for the Denver metropolitan area.Perry station is located in a residential neighborhood and has no bus connections or park and ride lot.

Elitch Gardens was a family-owned seasonal amusement park, theater, and botanic garden in the West Highland neighborhood in northwest Denver, Colorado, United States, at 38th and Tennyson streets. For more than a century Elitch's was one of the most popular entertainment destinations in Colorado. It was nationally known for its luscious gardens, the Elitch Theatre, the Trocadero Ballroom, and the premier wooden roller coaster, Mister Twister. The park moved to downtown Denver in 1994 and later in November of 1998 became Six Flags Elitch Gardens (now simply Elitch Gardens once again). The former location has been redeveloped.

The Historic Elitch Theatre is located at the original Elitch Gardens site in northwest Denver, Colorado. Opened in 1890, it was centerpiece of the park that was the first zoo west of Chicago. The theatre was Denver's first professional theatre, serving as home to America's first and oldest summer-stock theatre company from 1893 until the 1960s. The first films in the western US were shown there in 1896. Cecil B. DeMille sent yearly telegrams wishing the theatre another successful season, calling it "one of the cradles of American drama."

The Dickinson Branch Library, at 1545 Hooker St. in the West Colfax neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, is a Carnegie library which was built in 1914. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.It was designed by architect Maurice Biscoe in Italian Renaissance Revival style. Above a raised concrete basement, it is built of brick covered by white concrete stucco. It was originally light ivory in color with a sage green base. It has a hipped roof of red Spanish tile with broad overhanging eaves supported by wooden brackets, and a broad cornice "ornamented with ceramic tiles of heraldic designs, originally in brilliant colors. The tiles, now painted over, were blue-green squares attached to circular tiles set into the stucco finish. The tiles are of an alternating square and diamond pattern."The library included mural work by Allen Tupper True, "Colorado's most prolific mural painter", and relief sculpture by Denver artist and sculptor Dudley Carpenter. The murals and relief sculptures were removed from the building after the library was closed, and, as of 2001, their locations were unknown.It has also been known as the Charles E. Dickinson Branch Library, as the Carnegie Dickinson Library, and as the West Denver Branch Library.It was one of four Carnegie libraries funded by an $80,000 grant in 1912, which were all opened in 1913 "to much fanfare", three years after the main Denver Public Library was opened in 1910. The other three were the Roger W. Woodbury Branch Library, the Sarah Platt Decker Branch Library, and the Henry White Warren Branch Library.It was deemed significant "for its association with the nationwide public library movement sponsored and funded by grants from Andrew Carnegie's philanthropic foundation, ...for its association with the City of Denver's efforts to create a system of branch public libraries, [and] ... as an important example of the work of Denver architect Maurice Biscoe."It is located in west Denver at the southwest corner of Hooker Street and Conejos Place, near major boulevards West Colfax Avenue and Federal Boulevard, and it is visible from both.
