Rock Ridge is a historic house at 48 Tyringham Road in Monterey, Massachusetts. Built in 1898, it is a well-preserved example of a turn-of-the-20th-century summer estate house. The Shingle style house was built in 1898 for Curtis Judd, an Illinois businessman who had grown up in the area. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Dry Hill is a 206-acre (0.83 km2) nature preserve in New Marlborough, Massachusetts and is managed by the Trustees of Reservations, who acquired the land in 2000. It includes a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) hiking trail of medium to strenuous difficulty.

Ashintully Gardens is a 120 acre (0.5 km²) estate in Tyringham, Massachusetts that is maintained by The Trustees of Reservations land trust. The gardens, and the adjoining 594 acres (2.4 km²) McLennan Reservation, were the gift of John Stewart McLennan Jr., and his wife Katharine. The name Ashintully comes from Gaelic Eas an Tulaich and means "cascade of the hillock".

The Hop Brook Valley (also known as the Tyringham Valley) is a valley in southeastern Berkshire County, Massachusetts. The valley lies predominantly in the town of Tyringham, Massachusetts, although a good portion of it is located in the neighboring town of Lee. Because of its rural location, scenic views, and variety of hiking trails, it is considered as a destination for travellers of the region.

McLennan Reservation is a nature reserve located in Otis and Tyringham, Massachusetts. The property is owned by The Trustees of Reservations through a series of endowments for preserving the land, the first in 1977. The reservation is adjacent to another Trustees property, Ashintully Gardens. The 2.4 miles (3.9 km) Round Mountain Trail loops around the reservation.

New Marlborough Village is a historic district encompassing the heart of the oldest village in New Marlborough, Massachusetts. It includes properties on Massachusetts Route 57, New Marlborough, Monterey and Southfield Roads. It was the town's civic heart through the late 19th century, and retains character from that period. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

New Marlborough consists of five villages: Clayton, Hartsville, Mill River, New Marlborough Village and Southfield.

The Berkshires (locally ) are a highland region located in western Massachusetts and northwestern Connecticut in the United States. Generally, "Berkshires" may refer to the range of hills in Massachusetts that lie between the Housatonic and Connecticut Rivers. Highlands of northwest Connecticut may be seen as part of the Berkshires and sometimes called the Northwest Hills or Litchfield Hills. The segment of the Taconic Mountains in Massachusetts is often considered a part of the Berkshires, although they are geologically separate and are a comparatively narrow range along New York's eastern border. Also referred to as the Berkshire Highlands, Berkshire Hills, Berkshire Mountains, and Berkshire Plateau, the region enjoys a vibrant tourism industry based on music, arts, and recreation. Geologically, the mountains are a subrange of the Appalachian Mountains. The Berkshires were named among the 12 Last Great Places by The Nature Conservancy.

Tyringham Cemetery is a historic cemetery section just outside the historic center of Tyringham, Massachusetts. The 3.67 acres (1.49 ha) property lies on the west side of Church Street, opposite the Union Church. The historically designated portion of the cemetery excludes a 4 acres (1.6 ha) parcel that was purchased in the 2000s.Housatonic Township #1, of which Tyringham was a part, was settled in 1739, and was incorporated as Tyringham in 1767. Its original town center is located in Monterey, which separated in 1847. The current town center developed around the first meeting house to be built in the northern section of the township, around 1779. Its precise location is not known, but is believed to be within the bounds of the cemetery; one potential location is indicated by a stone marker.The cemetery is ringed by an iron picket fence donated in 1892 by the Hale family. It contains more than 800 gravestones, dating from 1797 to the present. The earliest stones were generally made for marble, which was quarried from nearby Berkshire County towns, while later monuments were made of granite. An unusually large number of markers (fourteen) are made of "white bronze", marketed by the Monumental Bronze Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut between 1874 and 1914. Two unusual markers are in the shape of truncated tree trunks, their inscriptions incised on scrolls that appear to be suspended from the top of the marker; perhaps in a contrast to their elaborate nature, they commemorate working-class individuals. Prominent burials in the cemetery include members of the Garland and Hale families, both of which have lineage to the town's early settlers.
