Kőbánya-Kispest is the southern terminus of the M3 Line (North-South line) of the Budapest Metro. It is the only station of the line that is above ground. The station was opened on 20 April 1980 as part of the extension from Nagyvárad tér.The metro station is named after the train station next to the terminal, which lies on the border of the districts Kőbánya and Kispest. It is also a suburban bus terminal and a changing place of several city bus lines (68, 85, 85E, 93, 93A, 98, 98E, 136E, 148, 151, 182, 184, 193E, 200E - this run from here to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport, 201E, 202E, 282E, 284E), making it the largest public transport hub in Southern-Pest. Hungarian people sometimes call this station Köki, which is short for Kőbánya-Kispest. Next to the station, there is a huge housing estate with concrete block of flats (Kispest microdistrict) and a shopping mall, named Köki Terminál. A bust of Ferenc Puskás is placed next to the shopping mall.

Kőbánya (literally: Quarry, German: Steinbruch) is the 10th district of Budapest (Hungarian: Budapest X. kerülete) and one of the largest by territory. It is located in southeast Pest, easily accessible from the downtown by Metro 3, whose terminus is named Kőbánya-Kispest. It has strong industrial and organized labour traditions; as such, it suffered a decline after the collapse of the Hungarian People's Republic in 1989–90. Today, the district is rebuilding itself into a living area for the middle class. Due to its large size, there are several diverse areas within Kőbánya, each with different architecture.

The Kőbánya cellar system or cellar system of Kőbánya (IPA: [ˈkøːbaːɲɒ]; in Hungarian: kőbányai pincerendszer, "cellar system of Kőbánya", or kőbányai alagútrendszer, "tunnel system of Kőbánya"), sometimes known to non-Hungarians simply as the Kőbánya Mine, or the Kobanya Mine, is an extensive network of subterranea, or underground spaces, in the 10th district of Budapest (Kőbánya), in Hungary. It is considered to be the largest cellar complex in the country. The complex as a whole started as an underground limestone quarry in a wine-growing area of present-day Kőbánya in the Middle Ages. Later wineries and beer breweries were established on the premises and they continued to use some of the underground spaces. During the Second World War, the dimensions of the complex enabled it to be used as a covert aircraft engine assembly plant and a civilian hideout. Since 2008, Kőbánya Asset Manager Jsc. organizes free guided tours annually (during Saint László Days), which introduce visitors to both the complex and the Havas Villa (erroneously also known as the Dreher Villa), one of the most notable properties connected to it. The underground complex is one of the locations that are participating in the European Heritage Days.The floor area of the complex is variously estimated to be somewhere between 180,000–220,000 m2 (1,900,000–2,400,000 sq ft; 44–54 acres) and the combined length of the tunnels is estimated to be around 32–35 km (20–22 mi). Corridors 3–6 m (9.8–19.7 ft) wide and halls 10 m (33 ft) high are common in it. The deepest part is approximately 30 m (98 ft) under the ground surface. The nature of limestone makes the spaces of the complex moist and moldy, and some parts are actually heavily flooded by groundwater. Currently the bulk of the tunnel system is the property of the Kőbánya district government (through its company Kőbánya Asset Manager Jsc., Kőbányai Vagyonkezelő Zrt.), a small portion is still owned by the Dreher Beer Breweries, who still actively uses some of the cellar spaces, and other small areas are in use by wineries. As of 2007, the Kőbánya tunnel system was not under architectural protection. The complex is sometimes referred to as an "underground city" or as an "underground world".

The Temple of Everybody, formerly known as the Kőbánya Synagogue, is a church located in Kőbánya in the 10th District of Budapest, which houses the ecumenical, neoprotestant Church of Everyone Church. Until 1964, it operated as a Synagogue.

Határ út is a station on the M3 (North-South) line of the Budapest Metro. Near the station, there are several tram and bus terminus, and a shopping centre. Határ út station named after the adjacent street Határ út, which literally means "(City) Border Street". Before the formation of Greater Budapest it was the border of Budapest Capital. The station was opened on 20 April 1980 as part of the extension from Nagyvárad tér to Kőbánya-Kispest.

Founded in 1907, Szent László Gimnázium is located in Kőbánya, Budapest’s 10th District. The school’s building was designed by the renowned Hungarian architect Ödön Lechner, and has been in use since 1915.The gymnasium runs 25 classes with eight specialisations. It also offers evening classes for adults. Therefore, the school’s enrolment is approximately 1000 students each year. This school is a UNESCO–associated school, which means that we teach a wide range of foreign languages, the students take part in many special programmes and competitions on the topic of foreign countries, the second-year students organise ‘UNESCO shows’ and many of the students participate in exchange programmes every year. New York fashion stylist, Edina Kolozsi Heath attended the school.

Kispest (lit. Little Pest) is the 19th (XIX) district of Budapest, Hungary. It lies south-southeast of the historical Pest city. It was founded in 1871 on rural land as a village at the borderline of Pest, so it was named Kispest.

The Bornemisza Péter High School (Hungarian: Bornemissza Péter Gimnázium) is a secondary school located in Budapest. The school bears the name of the Hungarian bard Péter Bornemissza.

Bozsik Aréna is a multi-purpose stadium in Budapest, Hungary. The stadium opened on 24 July 2021 and it was renamed after the Budapest Honvéd FC and Hungary footballer József Bozsik (1925–1978). It is used for football matches and it is the home stadium of Nemzeti Bajnokság II club Budapest Honvéd FC.

The Bozsik József Stadion was a multi-use UEFA category 4 stadium in Budapest, Hungary. The old stadium was demolished completely in 2019. It was used for football matches and was the home stadium of Budapest Honvéd FC. The stadium had a capacity of 8,760 spectators.

The Wekerle estate (Hungarian: Wekerletelep) is a part of Budapest's XIX. district (known as Kispest). Kispest, formerly a suburb was administratively attached to Budapest in 1950 along with several other settlements of Greater Budapest. Wekerle estate was named after Sándor Wekerle, then Hungarian prime minister, who supported the idea of building comfortable, human-scale housing estates for government employees, and was instrumental in launching the project of creating a garden city habitat.

New Public Cemetery (Hungarian: Új köztemető or Rákoskeresztúri sírkert) is the largest cemetery in Budapest and one of the largest in Europe with an area of about 2.07 km2 and 3 million burials since its opening in 1886. It is adjacent to the Kozma Street Cemetery; the largest Jewish cemetery in Hungary. Its main building, which was constructed in 1903, has a 26-meter-high bell tower. In addition to its rich vegetation and wide avenues, the cemetery is famous for plot 301, where the martyrs of the 1956 revolution were buried. Today, an enormous modern monument by György Jovánovics marks their graves.
