Dorchester Park is a historic park bounded by Dorchester Avenue, Richmond, Adams and Richview Streets in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The park was designed by Olmsted, Olmsted & Eliot, and constructed in 1891, as part of Boston's Emerald Necklace of parks first conceived by the elder Frederick Law Olmsted. It has many naturalistic features, including large areas of woodland. Its main access points are along Dorchester Avenue and Adams Street. The park includes a playground, tennis courts, and a Little League baseball diamond. The wall that lines the park along Adams Street has a historic mile marker, dated 1734, embedded in it.The park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Milton station is a light rail station in Milton, Massachusetts. Located in the Dorchester-Milton Lower Mills Industrial District, it serves the MBTA's Ashmont–Mattapan High-Speed Line. This station is accessible via wooden ramps on both platforms.

Elizabeth Seton Academy was a Roman Catholic high school for girls located in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts.

Carney Hospital is a 159-bed community teaching hospital in Dorchester, Massachusetts, affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine and Tufts Medical Center. The hospital had its beginnings in 1863 in South Boston. It was the first Catholic hospital in New England. Among its first patients were American Civil War soldiers. In 1892 a Carney Hospital team performed the first abdominal surgery in Boston.

The Dorchester-Milton Lower Mills Industrial District is a historic district on both sides of the Neponset River in the Dorchester area of Boston and in the town of Milton, Massachusetts. It encompasses an industrial factory complex, most of which was historically associated with the Walter Baker & Company, the first major maker of chocolate products in the United States. The industrial buildings of the district were built between about 1868 and 1947. They were listed as part of the district on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, with a slight enlargement in 2001. The buildings have been adapted for mixed industrial/retail/residential use.

Cedar Grove station is a light rail station on the Ashmont–Mattapan High Speed Line (part of the MBTA Red Line) located in the southern part of the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The station, named for the adjacent Cedar Grove Cemetery, has two side platforms serving the line's two tracks. It is accessible via wooden ramps on both platforms. The station agent died of rabies in November 1908 after being bitten by a dog which had found its way into the station.Cedar Grove was closed on June 24, 2006, for a yearlong renovation of the Ashmont–Mattapan High Speed Line. It was reopened on December 22, 2007.

The Dr. Amos Holbrook House is a historic house at 203 Adams Street in Milton, Massachusetts, across from Governor Hutchinson's Field. The two-story wood-frame house was built in 1800 by Dr. Amos Holbrook, a pioneer in the propagation of smallpox inoculations as a means of improving public health. The house has retained may interior finish details from the Federal period. It was expanded to the rear in 1872, at which time its front portico was added. The property also includes a c. 1810 barn.The house listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, and was included in the Milton Hill Historic District in 1995.

The Dorchester South Burying Ground is a historic graveyard on Dorchester Avenue in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Established in 1814, it is the second oldest cemetery in Dorchester, after the North Burying Ground. It is a roughly 2-acre (0.81 ha) parcel on the west side of Dorchester Avenue, north of Dorchester Lower Mills. A paved roadway provides circulation around the perimeter of the property. There is some evidence that the cemetery was formally terraced, due to the sloping terrain, but there is no evidence of curbing that might have been used for this purpose. One of the cemetery's most prominent features is a line of granite tombs along the southern boundary.The cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

The Captain Robert Bennet Forbes House, also known as the R. B. Forbes House and Forbes House Museum (and formerly as the American China Trade Museum), is a house museum located at 215 Adams Street, Milton, Massachusetts. It is now a National Historic Landmark, and is open to the public.

The Milton Hill Historic District is a historic district in Milton, Massachusetts. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.The Milton Hill area first became prominent in the 1740s as the estate of Thomas Hutchinson, a prominent politician whose actions as Acting Governor and Governor of the Province of Massachusetts Bay heightened tensions leading to the American Revolutionary War. He left the province in 1774, and his estate was eventually confiscated by the state. It has since then been a fashionable residential area of the town. It includes the Captain Robert Bennet Forbes House, a National Historic Landmark, as well as the Dr. Amos Holbrook House and Governor Hutchinson's Ha-ha, both separately listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Governor Thomas Hutchinson's Field, owned by The Trustees of the Reservations, lies in the middle of the district and offers sweeping views of Boston and the South Shore.

Gov. Thomas Hutchinson's Ha-ha is a historic ha-ha at 100–122 Randolph Avenue in Milton, Massachusetts, United States. The ha-ha (a sunken wall which permits unblocked views, while still serving functions of a wall such as delineating a border and preventing livestock from crossing) was constructed by then-Acting Governor Thomas Hutchinson in the early 1700s, when the land was part of his extensive Milton estate. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, and is a contributing property to the Milton Hill Historic District.The ha-ha, which is of modest size, is now on the grounds of St. Michael's Church at 100 Randolph Avenue, approximately one block from Governor Hutchinson's Field, a property of The Trustees of Reservations. Park on the street and walk in the driveway to the left (north) of the church. The ha-ha, with a descriptive sign, is on the right before the bend of the driveway.

Milton Cemetery is a historic cemetery at 211 Centre Street in Milton, Massachusetts. Established in 1672, it is the town's only municipal burying ground. There are three distinct sections to its 102-acre (41 ha) grounds: the original burying ground, a tract of 3 acres (1.2 ha) which was in use between 1672 and 1854, a "new" section, laid out in 1854 in the rural cemetery style which was fashionable in the 19th century, and a "modern" section, established in 1945.It was founded in 1672 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. Among those interred in the cemetery are: Dennis Miller Bunker, American Impressionist Painter James A. Burke, United States Representative from Massachusetts Elbie Fletcher, Major League Baseball player Edward A.
