Yatton Keynell (pronounced "kennel") is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England. The village is on the B4039 road near Castle Combe, about 4 miles (6 km) northwest of Chippenham, and about the same distance to the east of the county border with South Gloucestershire. The parish includes the hamlets of Broomfield, Giddeahall, Long Dean, Tiddleywink and West Yatton. The Bybrook River forms part of the western parish boundary. The economy of the parish was historically agricultural although it is now more of a residential area for surrounding towns; its population in the first census of 1801 was 353 and by 2001 reached 745, rising further to 825 at the 2011 census. Yatton Keynell village is surrounded by a green belt and is largely a conservation area.

Biddestone is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Biddestone and Slaughterford, in the Wiltshire district, in northwest Wiltshire, England, about 3 miles (5 km) west of Chippenham and 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Corsham. The parish includes the smaller settlement of Slaughterford.

Sheldon Manor near Chippenham, Wiltshire, England, is Wiltshire's oldest inhabited manor house and dates back to Anglo-Saxon times. Its structure is mostly 17th-century, and it is a Grade I listed building.

Sevington School, near the village of Grittleton, Wiltshire, England, was built in 1848 by Joseph Neeld, a landowner, for the children of his estate workers. It was built in the fashionable Neo-Gothic style and included a schoolroom and teacher’s house with parlour, kitchen and two bedrooms. The curriculum of the private school was narrow and designed to fit pupils for their station in life, either in service or as farm labourers on the Neeld estates. In 1860 Miss Elizabeth Squire was engaged as schoolteacher and she remained in charge until the school closed in 1913. Today it is used as a re-enactment centre for primary school children, and is open to the public during the summer. The building is Grade II* listed by Historic England.

Chippenham Without is a civil parish in Wiltshire, England, created as a separate entity from the parish of Chippenham by the Local Government Act 1894 and largely consisting of farmland to the west of Chippenham, towards Biddestone. Of note within it are the ancient settlements of Allington and Sheldon, the latter with its manor house. The population taken at the 2011 census was 208.

Royal Air Force Castle Combe or more simply RAF Castle Combe is a former Royal Air Force satellite airfield located 0.5 miles (0.80 km) southeast of Castle Combe, Wiltshire, England.

Castle Combe Circuit is a motor racing circuit in Wiltshire, England, approximately 20-mile (32 km) from Bristol. The circuit is based on the perimeter track of a former World War II airfield, and was opened for racing in 1950.

West Yatton Down (grid reference ST852760) is a 14.4 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Wiltshire, notified in 1971. The site is an example of unimproved limestone grassland. Among the more notable plants species are bastard-toadflax (Thesium humifusum), Dyer's greenweed (Genista tinctoria), and musk orchid (Herminium monorchis). Other species present include yellow-wort (Blackstonia perfoliata), kidney vetch (Anthyllis vulneraria), devil's-bit scabious (Succisa pratensis), bee orchid (Ophrys apifera), tor-grass (Brachypodium pinnatum) and upright brome (Bromus erectus). The site is also of interest for invertebrates. Twenty-five butterfly species have been recorded, including chalkhill blue, Duke of Burgundy, pearl-bordered fritillary and green hairstreak.

Bolehyde Manor is a 17th-century manor house at Allington, north-west of Chippenham, in Wiltshire, England. It is a Grade II* listed building within the Allington conservation area of Chippenham Without parish. Camilla Parker Bowles (later Queen Camilla) lived at the house between 1973 and 1986, during her first marriage.

Allington is a hamlet in north Wiltshire, England. It is on the edge of the market town of Chippenham, about 2 miles (3 km) north-west of the town centre and about 0.3 miles (500 m) north of the A420 road towards Bristol. Allington Bar is a farm and small hamlet on the A420. Allington Manor Farmhouse is from the mid 18th century and incorporates fragments of a 17th-century manor house; further fragments are within an 18th-century barn. Bolehyde Manor, a Grade II* listed 17th-century manor house and former home of Camilla Parker-Bowles, is a short distance north of Allington village. This Allington is not a former parish, but was a tithing of the parish of Chippenham. Since 1894 it has been in the civil parish of Chippenham Without.The settlement was designated as a conservation area in 1998, and in 2002 the area was extended to include the surrounding landscape.

Leigh Delamere is a small village in the civil parish of Grittleton in the English county of Wiltshire, about 4 miles (6 km) northwest of the town of Chippenham. The M4 motorway passes some 250 metres to the south, and the motorway's Leigh Delamere services lie to the east of the village. The civil parish of Leigh Delamere (which included the hamlet of Sevington, about one mile southwest of the village) was absorbed by Grittleton parish on 1 April 1934. In 1931 the parish had a population of 96.
