Luther Store

Luther's Corner is a historic district encompassing the original economic center of Swansea, Massachusetts. The district is centered on the junction of Old Warren and Pearse Roads, the former being a major stage route between Fall River and Providence, Rhode Island, and was for many years associated with the locally prominent Luther Family. Luther's Corner was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The William Luther House is a historic house in Swansea, Massachusetts. It is a 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame Cape style house, five bays wide, with a side-gable roof, central chimney, clapboard siding on the front and wooden shingles on the sides. The front door is an original vertical board door. An ell extends to the rear of the house, added in the late 19th or early 20th century. The house was built c. 1849, and is a well-preserved example of Greek Revival styling. The house was for many years owned by members of the locally prominent Buffington family.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. The house was demolished shortly after listing in the National Register, likely in 1991.

Bend of the Lane, also known as the Harlow Luther House, is a historic house in Swansea, Massachusetts. The main block of this 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house was built c. 1740, and is a well-preserved local example of vernacular Georgian styling. A 1+1⁄2-story ell was added c. 1850, and a second ell, an old "half-house" (three-bay facade), was grafted onto the front c. 1930. The house has been associated for many years with prominent local farmers, including its builder, Harlow Luther, and Victor Gardner, whose family settled Gardner's Neck.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Church of Christ, Swansea (also known as First Christian Congregational Church and Swansea White Church) is a historic church along United States Route 6 in Swansea, Massachusetts. The current Greek Revival church building was built in 1833 for a congregation with a recorded history of meetings dating to 1680. The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. The congregation is affiliated with the United Church of Christ; its current pastor is Rev. Holly Norwick.

The Deacon John Buffington House is a historic house in Swansea, Massachusetts. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, four bays wide, with a side-gable roof, and its chimney centered behind one of the inner bays, behind the main entrance. Exterior styling is simple, with plain boards around the door, and only minor embellishment on the window framing. A two-story ell extends to the rear. The house was probably built c. 1790. Its first documented owner was John Buffington, a member of the locally prominent Buffington family. The house exhibits well-preserved but simple vernacular Georgian styling.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Smuggler's House is a historic house in Swansea, Massachusetts. It is a 1+1⁄2-story Cape style farmhouse, five bays wide, with a side gable roof, a chimney that is slightly off-center, and a pair of gabled dormers. Its main entry is flanked by pilasters and topped by a five-light transom window. The house was built c. 1800, and is substantially unaltered. It was supposedly used as a place to store smuggled goods during the War of 1812.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Swansea Mall was a regional shopping mall located in Swansea, Massachusetts. It served the Southeastern Massachusetts area. Located off Exit 3 of I-195, the building is situated at the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and Massachusetts Route 118, on Swansea Mall Drive. It had three out-parcel buildings: a Walmart building behind the mall, a former Toys "R" Us, a shared PriceRite (closed in 2020) & Dollar Tree (formerly a Service Merchandise). The Swansea Crossings shopping plaza is across the street, and contains a Big Lots and a Tractor Supply Company. The mall closed permanently on March 31, 2019. It was purchased by Anagnost Companies in May 2019 at auction. Redevelopment has begun on the mall.

It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, five bays wide, clapboard siding, and a gambrel roof pierced by two gabled dormers. An enclosed entrance portico projects at the center of the main facade, and ells extend the house to the rear. The house was built c. 1752, and is a well-preserved example of a typical period farmhouse from the period. The entry portico and enlarged window above are Colonial Revival (early 20th century) alterations. The Brown family were locally prominent farmers and landowners.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
