Kōzan-ji's Butsuden, completed in 1320, is a National Treasure of Japan. This architecture in Zenshūyō (禅宗様) (aka Zen'yō) style (Zen style), combining Japanese and Chinese design features. It is the oldest building designed in the Zenshūyō style that exists in Japan. The Chūgoku 33 Kannon Pilgrimage No.19.

Misaka Dam is an earthfill dam located in Yamaguchi prefecture in Japan. The dam is used for irrigation. The catchment area of the dam is 2.7 km2. The dam impounds about 13 ha of land when full and can store 1248 thousand cubic meters of water. The construction of the dam was completed in 1923.

The Shin-Kanmon Tunnel (新関門トンネル, shin-kanmon tonneru) is a 18.713 km long undersea railway tunnel under the Kanmon Straits connecting Shin-Shimonoseki Station and Kokura Station.At the time of opening in March of 1975, it was the longest railway tunnel in Japan before being overtaken by in 1988 the opening of the Seikan Tunnel. It is also the longest tunnel section in the entire Sanyo Shinkansen and Tokaido Shinkansen line.

Kanmonkaikyō Mekari Station (関門海峡めかり駅, Kanmonkaikyō-Mekari-eki) is a train station in Moji ward of Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. It is on the Mojikō Retro Scenic Line, a heritage railway operated by the Heisei Chikuhō Railway. It is the northernmost train station in Kyushu. The station name is derived from its position next to the Kanmon Straits and that it's within Mekari Park (和布刈公園).
