Frank H. Buhl Mansion, or Buhl Mansion, is a historic home located in Sharon, Pennsylvania, United States, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Sharon is a city in western Mercer County, Pennsylvania, United States. The city, located along the banks of the Shenango River on the state border with Ohio, is about 15 miles (24 km) northeast of Youngstown, about 65 miles (105 km) southeast of Cleveland and about 60 miles (97 km) northwest of Pittsburgh. The population was 13,147 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Hermitage micropolitan area.

Buhl Farm Golf Course, formerly known as Buhland Golf Course, located in Sharon, Pennsylvania, is currently the only known free public golf course in the United States. The 9-hole course is open from mid-April to November between 8 a.m. to sundown (closing times vary on season, so call ahead). The course is known for its flat greens, high rough and little room between each hole. It is also known for its easy layout including straight and wide fairways. The course is also known for its one artificial turf tee box, and eight other natural tee boxes. The course also includes a driving range and a First Tee center. It is run by the Buhl Farm Trust and generous donations from the public. The free course is called "Dum Dum" by the locals. It also has a children's golf program in the summer.

Penn State Shenango is a commonwealth campus of the Pennsylvania State University that is located in Sharon, Pennsylvania. Penn State Shenango is the only urban campus in the Penn State system, although some parts of Penn State Altoona that are located in the heart of Altoona's downtown are urban in nature.

Avenue of Flags is a park in the city of Hermitage in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, United States, erected during the Iran hostage crisis of 1979–1981 to honor the American diplomats held hostage in Tehran, Iran. The park is on the grounds of the Hillcrest Memorial Park cemetery and is open to the public. The memorial began as a single American flag, surrounded by flags representing each of the 50 states, and was created by Tom Flynn, the owner of the adjacent Hillcrest Memorial Park cemetery. On February 11, 1980, the 100th day of captivity, Flynn decided to erect 100 flags and raise one flag every day afterward until the hostages were freed. The American hostages were held in Iran from November 4, 1979, to January 20, 1981. At the end, there were 444 flags, one for each day of captivity. One Canadian flag also flies on the avenue as a tribute to the Canadians from the Canadian Embassy in Tehran who risked their lives to save six hostages from captivity. There is also an eternal flame which burns in front of the monument dedicated to the eight American servicemen who died in the failed hostage rescue attempt on April 25, 1980. The Avenue of the Flags is now run by the Non-profit Avenue of Flags Foundation.

First Universalist Church of Sharpsville is a historic Universalist church located at 131 N. Mercer Avenue in Sharpsville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, United States. The church was built between 1882 and 1884, and is a richly decorated brick and stone church building in a High Victorian Gothic style. It measures 52 feet by 42 feet and the interior takes the Akron plan. The property includes the parsonage; a two-story Queen Anne style dwelling built in 1888.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. The Sharpsville Area Historical Society purchased the building in 2000 and is in the process of restoring it. The building serves as the Society's headquarters.
