Manual Career & Technical Center, Manual, or Vo-Tech is a career and technical center located in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. The Main Campus is located at 1215 East Truman Road. The East Campus is located at 1924 Van Brunt Boulevard at East High School. They are both a part of the Kansas City, Missouri School District.

Wheatley-Provident Hospital is a historic site at 1826 Forest Avenue in the 18th and Vine District of Kansas City, Missouri. It was founded in 1902 and became Kansas City's first hospital for Black people.

The Kansas City Bus Station is an intercity bus station in the Paseo West neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri. The station, managed by Greyhound Lines, also serves Jefferson Lines. The current building was constructed in 1989. Kansas City has seen intercity bus transit since at least 1929, when a union bus terminal opened at on McGee Street. In 1967, a Greyhound Lines bus terminal opened on Holmes Street, which would be in operation until 1989. This was replaced by the current bus station on Troost Avenue, which opened June 3, 1989.

The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) is a privately funded museum dedicated to preserving the history of Negro league baseball in America. It was founded in 1990 in Kansas City, Missouri, in the historic 18th & Vine District, the hub of African-American cultural activity in Kansas City during the first half of the 20th century. The NLBM shares its building with the American Jazz Museum.

The Maine Apartments in Kansas City, Missouri are buildings from 1901. They are listed on the National Register of Historic Places as of 2002.

The American Jazz Museum is located in the historic 18th and Vine district of Kansas City, Missouri. The museum preserves the history of American jazz music, with exhibits on Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and others. Nested within the museum is a fully functioning jazz club, The Blue Room, which holds live performances multiple nights a week.

The Parade Park Maintenance Building in Kansas City, Missouri is a building from 1912. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Mutual Musicians Foundation is a National Historic Landmark in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Mutual Musicians' Foundation Building is a historic building at 1823 Highland Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. It is also known as the Mutual Musicians Association Building or the Musician's Union Local or the Local No. 627 of the American Federation of Musicians. It was a center of the development of the "Kansas City Style" of jazz, and was immortalized in the song "627 Stomp". Famous members of the Mutual Musicians Foundation included Count Basie, Bennie Moten, Jay McShann, George F. Lee, singer Julia Lee, trumpeter Hot Lips Page, tenor saxophonists Dick Wilson, Herschel Evans and Lester Young, alto saxophonist Charlie Parker, drummer Baby Lovett, and pianist Pete Johnson. The building was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1981. It continues to be used as an active performing venue, and also houses a museum.

Western Baptist Bible College is Baptist college in Kansas City, Missouri, United States with branches in St. Louis, Missouri, and several branches in Kansas: Junction City, Olathe, Topeka, and Wichita. The school was founded by African-American Baptist ministers in Independence, Missouri, in 1890. Two years later, it moved to Macon, Missouri, before moving to its present location in Kansas City in 1921. It was the "first and only Christian Institution west of the Mississippi River founded by blacks exclusively."
