Kfar Baruch

Migdal HaEmek–Kfar Baruch railway station (Hebrew: תחנת הרכבת מגדל העמק-כפר ברוך) is an Israel Railways passenger station situated on the Jezreel Valley railway. It is served by one to two trains per hour in each direction. With 259,977 passengers recorded in 2019, it was the least-used station in the North District.

Ramat David Airbase (ICAO: LLRD, Hebrew: בָּסִיס חֵיל-הַאֲוִיר רָמַת דָּוִד Basis Kheil HaAvir Ramat David, English: David Heights) is an Israeli Air Force (IAF) base located 20 km southeast of Haifa in the Northern District of Israel, close to kibbutz Ramat David in the Jezreel Valley. It is the northernmost IAF base in Israel with fighter jets, UAVs and helicopters based on it.

Tel Shor (Hebrew: תל שור, "mound of the bull"), or Tell Thorah (Arabic: تل ثورة, Tell Thwrah) is an archaeological site in the center of the western Jezreel Valley. It contains a small settlement mound (tell) with an area of 3 dunams (0.30 hectares). It rises to a height of 5–6 metres (16–20 ft) above the alluvial plain. It is situated 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) north of Kishon River. South and west of the mound are springs the form a marsh. The site was surveyed in the past and building stones were found scattered on the mound. Based on the pottery found it was settled as early as the Early Bronze Age and human presence is noted in every period until the modern era. A mausoleum from the Roman era with a stone sarcophagus was damaged during drainage work in the 1960s along with the mound's western edges. An excavation took place around the site in 2007 and discovered several burials, mostly from the Persian period, as well as one burial dated to either the Late Bronze Age or Iron Age and another one from the Roman period in addition to the mausoleum.The site was suggested by several scholars as the possible location of Maralah (Hebrew: מרעלה), a border town in the possession of the biblical Tribe of Zebulun, mentioned in the Book of Joshua.

Ramat David (Hebrew: רָמַת דָּוִד, lit. David Heights) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located in the Jezreel Valley near Ramat David Airbase, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 542.

Gvat (Hebrew: גְּבַת, also transliterated Gevat) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located near Migdal HaEmek in the Jezreel Valley, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 958. The kibbutz founded the Plastro company, one of the world's largest drip irrigation systems manufacturers.

HaYogev (Hebrew: הַיּוֹגֵב, lit. The Farmer) is a moshav in northern Israel. Located around seven kilometres west of Afula, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 790.

The Jezreel Valley railway, or the Valley Train (Hebrew: רַכֶּבֶת הָעֵמֶק, Rakevet HaEmek ; Arabic: خط سكة حديد حيفا – درعا, romanized: khaṭṭ sikkat ḥadīd Ḥayfa–Dar‘a) was a railroad that existed in Ottoman and British Palestine, reconstituted as a modern railway in Israel in the 21st century. It runs from the Mediterranean coast inland along the length of the Jezreel Valley. The historical line was a segment of the longer Haifa–Dera'a Line, which was itself a branch of the larger Hejaz railway. The historical Haifa–Dera'a line was built at the beginning of the 20th century and connected the Port of Haifa with the main part of the Hejaz railway, the Damascus–Medina line. Like the entire Hejaz railway, it was a 1,050 mm (3 ft 5+11⁄32 in) narrow gauge line. The last stop of the Haifa–Dera'a line within the Mandate Palestine borders was at al-Hamma, today Hamat Gader. Planning and construction took four years. The railway was inaugurated on October 15, 1905, and regular services operated on it until 1948. Despite several renewal attempts, the line lay dismantled for decades until 2011 when construction started on a large-scale project to build a new 1,435 mm (4 ft 8+1⁄2 in) standard gauge railway from Haifa to Beit She'an along roughly the same route as the historic valley railway. Israel Railways began passenger service on the new valley railway on October 16, 2016.

Sarid (Hebrew: שָׂרִיד) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located near Migdal HaEmek, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 875.

Tel Shem (Hebrew: תל שם), or Tell esh Shemmam (Arabic: تل الشمام), is an archaeological site located south of Kfar Yehoshua, in the Jezreel Valley, northern Israel. The Nahalal stream, a tributary of the Kishon River, flows east of the site. The site used to include a tell but it was flattened for agricultural use and it can no longer be seen on the surface. Fragments of building blocks and potsherds can be found scattered on the agricultural fields around the site and are usually exposed after the rain. Residents of Kfar Yehoshua have collected ancient artifacts from the site and put them as decorations in their homes. Those include complete vessels and figurines made of stone and pottery. The site was surveyed by Israeli archaeologist Avner Raban and a salvage excavation took place for the first time in 2013. The studies showed that although small, Tel Shem had human presence through almost every period from the Neolithic until the Byzantine rule, as well as during the Mamluk and Ottoman periods. A station of the old Jezreel Valley railway near Kfar Yehoshua was named after the site which was still visible in the beginning of the 20th century, before it was changed to "Kfar Yehoshua Station".

Jezreel Valley Regional Council (Hebrew: מועצה אזורית עמק יזרעאל, Mo'atza Azorit Emek Yizra'el) is a regional council in northern Israel that encompasses most of the settlements in the Jezreel Valley. It includes 15 kibbutzim, 15 moshavim, 6 community settlements and two Bedouin villages. Despite its name, some of these settlements are not located in the Jezreel Valley proper, but in the vicinity.

Nahalal (Hebrew: נַהֲלָל) is a moshav in northern Israel. Covering 8.5 square kilometers (3.3 sq mi), it falls under the jurisdiction of the Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,253.Nahalal is best known for its general layout, as designed by Richard Kauffmann: slightly oval round, similar to a spoke wheel, with its public buildings at the "hub" and individual plots of agricultural land radiating from it like spokes with symmetrically placed roads creating eight equal sectors, an inner ring of residential buildings, and an outer ring road.

Yifat (Hebrew: יִפְעַת, more accurately romanized as "Yif'at") is a kibbutz in Galilee, northern Israel. Located adjacent to the town Migdal HaEmek and short distances from the cities of Afula and Nazareth. It falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,212.
