Burslem Market Hall, built in 1879, is a listed building in the centre of Burslem, in Stoke-on-Trent, England. The former market hall was closed in 2003.

The Old Town Hall is a former town hall in Burslem, in Staffordshire, England. It is in the Market Place, in the centre of the town. It is a Grade II* listed building, listed on 2 October 1951.

Ceramica was a museum in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, which explored the history of the area's pottery industry. It was located in the former Burslem Town Hall. Exhibits included displays about ceramics manufacturers Wade Ceramics, Royal Doulton, Sadlers, Dudson, Steelite, Royal Stafford, Moorland, Burleigh Pottery, Moorcroft and Cobridge Stoneware. There were interactive displays and video presentations for children on ceramic history and local history. The museum was set up using National Lottery money from the Millennium Commission and managed by a Trust. In March 2011 the museum closed as a result of a significant drop off in paying visitors following the closure of adjacent pottery manufacturers. The Trust was wound up and the buildings returned to the City Council. The main building, the former Town Hall, is now home to Haywood Academy sixth form college whilst the modern extension was demolished as uneconomic to repair.

The Wedgwood Institute is a large red-brick building that stands in Queen Street, in the town of Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. It is sometimes called the Wedgwood Memorial Institute, but it is not to be confused with the former Wedgwood Memorial College in Barlaston. It achieved listed building status (Grade II*) in 1972.

Burslem School of Art was an art school in the centre of the town of Burslem in the Potteries district of England. Students from the school played an important role in the local pottery industry. Pottery was made on the site of the school from the early Middle Ages. The venue was refurbished and re-opened for the arts in 1999.

The Duke William is a Grade II listed public house at 2 St John's Square, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, ST6 3AJ.It was built in 1929, and Grade II listed in 2015 by Historic England.

The Queen's Theatre (originally Queen's Hall) is a theatre building in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, England. It is situated in Wedgwood Street in the town centre. It is a Grade II listed building, listed on 19 April 1972.

Middleport is a residential and industrial district in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, England. Middleport lies to the west of Burslem, between Burslem and the Newcastle-under-Lyme district of Porthill. To the north is Tunstall and to the south Cobridge and Etruria. Middleport conjoins Longport. Middleport is primarily residential, with distinctive Victorian terraced houses. However, it also a working industrial district and contains several potteries: ranging from Middleport Pottery, owned by the Prince's Regeneration Trust and claimed to be the only working Victorian pottery remaining in the city, and Steelite, a large manufacturer of hotelware. The Trent and Mersey Canal and a key path of the National Cycle Network run through Middleport. The line of the canal through the City of Stoke-on-Trent is a linear conservation area. Middleport contains one of the nation's richest stretches of canalside industrial heritage. Since 1990 the canal area has benefited from around £1m of Groundwork funding, and £4m of Townscape Heritage funding. Clarice Cliff's Newport Pottery, where she produced some of her most famous work, was adjacent to the canal and an artist-designed 12-foot steel markerpost identifies the location. Middleport is an area that is strategic to the regeneration of the city, as it sits in the centre of a ring of imminent projects totalling around £250m: the Chatterley Valley scheme, the Etruria Valley scheme, the regeneration of Burslem town centre, and a proposed major "park and ride" interchange and business-park on the site of the old Shelton Bar steel rolling-mill. Middleport piloted a community warden service in 2002 & 2003; as a result, crime dropped by 80 per cent. The service was subsequently extended across Stoke-on-Trent and adopted in other cities. Middleport features in several of the novels of Arnold Bennett, and the film version of his The Card was filmed in Middleport with Alec Guinness. Middleport Park Bowling Club has a national reputation and has won several national trophies. Middleport Matters (founded 2015) is a local community action group dedicated to improving the lives of those who live and work in Middleport and the surrounding areas.

Burslem railway station was a station on the Potteries Loop Line that served the town of Burslem, Staffordshire. It was located on Moorland Road, adjacent to Burslem Park. It should have opened with the extension of the Potteries Loop Line from Hanley on 1 November 1873 but the Board of Trade inspector was not satisfied so there was a delay of a month before opening.The station closed in 1964 when the Loop Line closed. Most traces of the station have been removed although the old stationmaster's house, known as Station House, is still occupied on a site between the old line and Burslem Park on Moorland Road. The site of the station, sidings etc., is now part of a Greenway for walkers and cyclists running along part of the route of the old Loop Line which has been landscaped.

Vale Park is a football stadium in Stoke-on-Trent, England. It has been the home ground of Port Vale F.C. since 1950. The ground has seen its capacity go up and down, its peak being 42,000 in 1954 against Blackpool, although a club record 49,768 managed to squeeze in for a 1960 FA Cup fifth round fixture against Aston Villa. Due to safety restrictions it now has a capacity of 15,036 (19,052 without limitations) having undergone major restructuring to make the stadium an all-seater venue in the 1990s.
