Önsbach

Familienbrauerei Bauhöfer GmbH & Co. KG ("Bauhöfer Family Brewery) is a brewery company in Renchen-Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, established in 1852. The company is a Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung (GmbH, limited liability company) and a Kommanditgesellschaft (KG, limited partnership).

Renchen (Low Alemannic: Renche) is a small town in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, part of the district of Ortenau.

Achern station is the largest and most important of the four stations in the town of Achern in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is located at kilometre 125.3 of the Rhine Valley Railway (Rheintalbahn), which connects Mannheim and Basel and is the starting point of the Acher Valley Railway (Achertalbahn), which runs to Ottenhöfen. The station has four platforms and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn (DB) as a category 4 station. It has also been the terminus of lines S32 and S4 of the Karlsruhe Stadtbahn since December 2004.

Achern (German: [ˈaxɐn] ; Low Alemannic: Achre) is a town in Western Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located approximately 18 km southwest of Baden-Baden and 19 km northeast of Offenburg. Achern is the fourth largest town in the district of Ortenau (Ortenaukreis), after Offenburg, Lahr / Black Forest and Kehl. As subsequent to the district reform in the 1970s the population passed the 20,000 mark, Achern requested to be awarded the status of Große Kreisstadt. The status was granted by the State government effective January 1, 1974. Achern collaborates with the communities of Lauf, Sasbach, and Sasbachwalden in administrative matters. Besides Achern itself, the municipality includes the boroughs of Fautenbach, Gamshurst, Großweier, Mösbach, Oberachern, Önsbach, Sasbachried and Wagshurst.

Großweier is an urban subdivision (Stadtteil) of the major county town (Große Kreisstadt) of Achern in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The population of Großweier is approximately 1,500 inhabitants. Großweier was an autonomous rural municipality since the High Middle Ages. In 1973, Großweier was incorporated as an urban subdivision of Achern in the Ortenaukreis district.

Gamshurst is a German neighborhood (Stadtteil) of the major district town (Große Kreisstadt) of Achern in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. First documented on February 21, 902, Gamshurst was originally the site of a Catholic monastery. The village of Gamshurst is originally mentioned in a Papal bull in 1216. From the 13th to the mid-20th century, Gamshurst was predominantly an agricultural village.

Sasbach is a municipality in the district of Ortenau in Western Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Kappelrodeck (Low Alemannic: Kabbl) is a town in Western Baden-Württemberg, Germany and belongs to the district of Ortenau. It is located at the western hillslope of the Black Forest in the valley Achertal. It is about 20 kilometres to the north of Offenburg and about 20 kilometres to the south of Baden-Baden. In clear weather, the city of Strasbourg in France can be seen which is roughly 25 kilometres to the west of Kappelrodeck.

Schauenburg Castle is a ruined hilltop castle located in Oberkirch, Germany, atop a 367-metre-high (1,204 ft) (NN) hill spur overlooking the Rench river valley above the town of Gaisbach, Baden-Württemberg. The castle was built by Duke Berthold II of Zähringen.The well-preserved ruin includes the remains of two towers with living quarters, a gate tower, a rampart, and a shield wall with an attached chapel. The remains of an outer bailey are surrounded by a dry moat and a second shield wall. The castle is now a tourist attraction and includes a small museum in the cellar of the former castle chapel and a restaurant.
