The Middlesex Filter Beds Weir, or Lea Bridge Road Weir, marks the start of the Hackney Cut, an artificial channel of the River Lee Navigation built in 1770, in the London Borough of Hackney. The weir lies between the former Middlesex Filter Beds – now a nature reserve – and the Thames Water treatment works at Lea Bridge Road. Excess water from the Navigation passes over the weir into the former natural channel of the River Lee that passes in a large loop to the east of the modern water course, as the Old River Lea. The natural water course travels 2 miles (3.2 km) and rejoins the Navigation below Old Ford Lock.

Lea Bridge is a district in the London Borough of Hackney and the London Borough of Waltham Forest in London, England. It lies 7 miles (11.3 km) northeast of Charing Cross. The area it takes its name from a bridge built over the River Lea in either 1745 - or sometime after 1757 - and the Lea Bridge Road which leads through the area and across the bridge. The bridge also gives its name to a ward in Waltham Forest (Lea Bridge) on the eastern, Leyton, bank of the river, and to a ward in Hackney on the Western side of the river, also called Lea Bridge ward. The boundary between the two boroughs runs down the middle of the river at this point. Within Hackney, Lea Bridge Road forms the customary boundary between Upper and Lower Clapton.

The Clapton Stadium, also known as Millfields Road, was a football ground and greyhound racing stadium in the Lower Clapton area of London.

Hackney Power Station (also known as Millfields Power Station) was a coal-fired power station situated at Lea Bridge on the River Lee Navigation in London.

Lea Bridge Road is a major through route in east London, across the Lea Valley from Clapton to Whipps Cross in Leyton. It forms part of the A104 road. Places served on the road are the Lea Valley Park, Lea Bridge railway station and the Baker's Arms area. Formerly the Lea Bridge Stadium was located along Lea Bridge Road, and served as a home for Leyton Orient and later a speedway team. Almost opposite the stadium, Emmanuel Parish Church, built in 1935, is a Grade II listed building.

Leabridge is a ward in the London Borough of Hackney and roughly corresponds to the Lea Bridge district of London, and is distinct from the Lea Bridge ward in the neighbouring London Borough of Waltham Forest. It is part of Hackney North and Stoke Newington constituency. The ward has existed since the creation of the borough on 1 April 1965 and was first used in the 1964 elections.

London Borough of Jam is a boutique jam manufacturer, based in Hackney, London established in 2011. London Borough of Jam was established in 2011 by Lillie O’Brien, a former pastry chef at St John Bread & Wine. The company produces artisan jams in small batches such as "Greengage & Fennel Pollen" and "Rhubarb & Cardamom", using less sugar than mainstream brands. Other ingredients used include loganberries from Kent, home-grown rose geranium and lemon verbena. The jams are stocked by independent retails in Greater London and a small number of shops across the UK. They are also stocked at the Royal National Theatre Shop. The jams and other core products are also distributed to Singapore and Japan, and in 2018 O’Brien travelled to Japan for two weeks running workshops and making limited edition pots of Fig & Earl Grey jam only available in Japan.The company also operates a shop in Clapton, described in the London Evening Standard as a "dazzling and charming array of personally selected wares, in such a beautiful space" The shop sells magazines, homewares, speciality food and local spirits, with an emphasis on products produced in London. In 2018, O'Brien wrote the cookbook Five Seasons Of Jam detailing jam recipes for spring, summer, early autumn, late autumn and winter. The recipes focus on lesser known ingredients including: Anise Hyssop leaves, Loganberries, Tayberries, Lemon Balm leaves and stalks, Jostaberries, Red Gooseberries, and Liva Fragola Grapes.In 2020, during the pandemic, O'Brien put together the limited edition cookbook, First Wash Your Hands: Recipes from Friends, which compiled 120 recipes contributed by friends, with all proceeds going to the food charities Trussell Trust and the Young Leaders Fund.

Bomb Crater Pond is a pond in the Walthamstow Marshes in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, England. It formed in the crater left by the explosion of a German V-2 rocket on 11 February 1945, during World War II.

The Lea Bridge Stadium was a football and speedway stadium on Lea Bridge Road in the Walthamstow area of London. It was the home ground of Clapton Orient between 1930 and 1937.
