Grand Lakes

Cinco Ranch is a census-designated place and master-planned community located in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the city of Houston within Fort Bend and Harris counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 16,899 at the 2020 census. It lies approximately 25 miles (40 km) west of the Harris County seat of Houston and 10 miles (16 km) north of the Fort Bend County seat of Richmond. Cinco Ranch is considered to be part of the Greater Katy area and is roughly 10 miles southeast of the city of Katy.

LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch is an upscale 34-acre, 300,000 square foot Main Street style mixed-use development, with 271,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. It is located at the Grand Parkway and Cinco Ranch Blvd, in Cinco Ranch, Texas. It also includes office space and apartments. It opened on March 1, 2007 (2007-03-01). This lifestyle center serves as the conventional mall for Greater Katy.

Canyon Gate at Cinco Ranch or Canyon Gate at Historic Cinco Ranch is a subdivision in unincorporated Fort Bend County, Texas, near the Cinco Ranch census-designated place. It is located at Farm to Market Road 1093 and Mason Road.The development has 205 acres (83 ha) of land. As of 2018 it has 721 houses. Cinco Municipal Utility District (MUD) 8 provides utility services to the subdivision. James Drew of the Houston Chronicle described it as the "de facto government" of Canyon Gate. It was the first of several gated communities developed by Land Tejas Development.

Cinco Ranch High School (CRHS) is a public school located in an unincorporated area in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States that serves grades 9 through 12 as part of the Katy Independent School District. It is located off Cinco Ranch Boulevard within the community of Cinco Ranch; it is in the Cinco Ranch census-designated place. The school opened in 1999. The principal is Dr. Kaye Williams. The school was rated the 3rd best high school in 2007 tied with Clements High School in the Houston region by the Houston Chronicle. In 2010, Cinco Ranch High School was ranked 478th out of America's top 2,000 public high schools.The school was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 2008.

Seven Lakes High School (SLHS) is a public senior high school located in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States, inside the Cinco Ranch area south of the city of Katy. Many communities such as Seven Meadows, Grand Lakes, and Cinco Ranch are zoned to the school. While the school has a Katy address, it is within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Houston, and is a high school of the Katy Independent School District (KISD).

Obra D. Tompkins High School (OTHS) is a high school located in unincorporated Fort Bend County, Texas in Greater Katy, within Greater Houston. The school is part of the Katy Independent School District. Tompkins was created to relieve the overflow of students in the neighboring Seven Lakes High School which had almost 4,000 students during the 2012–2013 school year. In August 2013, Tompkins opened with only freshman and sophomore classes but had students in grades 9-12 beginning in August 2015. The school is named for Obra D. Tompkins, a long-serving educator in the Katy school district. It is located off Falcon Landing Blvd. and Gaston Road at the edge of the Cinco Ranch Line. However, as Tompkins experienced an influx of students, the new Jordan High School (Fulshear, Texas) was created to alleviate the growing number of students.

Memorial Parkway is a neighborhood in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, United States, east of the city of Katy. Memorial Parkway was built in the 1970s, and the 1980s. The neighborhood is operated by the Memorial Parkway Homeowners Association (MPHOA). It is one of the oldest subdivisions on the Mason Road corridor. It is flanked on the west by the expanding commercial corridor of Mason Road, and on the East by the residential parkway of Westgreen Boulevard.

Cimarron is an unincorporated community in Harris County, Texas, United States. It lies 40 km west of the heart of Houston, and six km southeast of Katy, at an elevation of 125 ft (38 m).

James E. Taylor High School is a public high school in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, in the Greater Katy area. The campus is located within the Nottingham Country subdivision, but is not within the Katy city limits. The school serves grades 9 through 12, and is part of Katy Independent School District.

Katy Mills is a shopping mall in Katy, Texas, within the Houston metropolitan area, gradually growing into a premier tourist destination on the west side of Houston. It was developed by The Mills Corporation and is now managed by Simon Property Group, who owns 62.5% of it. The mall opened on October 28, 1999 and hosted a variety of over 174 stores. Katy Mills has about 1.3 million square feet (0.12 km2) of retail space.

Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital is a hospital in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, near Katy and in Greater Houston. It is a part of the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System. Pediatric care to the hospital is provided by doctors from Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital which treats infants, children, teens, and young adults age 0-21.

George Bush Park is a county park in Houston, Texas, United States, located on the far west side of the city. Situated entirely within Barker Reservoir, a large flood control structure, the park covers 7,800 acres (32 km2), most of which is undeveloped forest used for the storage of floodwater. A variety of public recreation facilities are located along Westheimer Parkway, which bisects the park, including soccer and baseball field complexes, a shooting range, and a dog park. Named in honor of former Houston-area U.S. Representative and President George H. W. Bush, the park was known as Cullen–Barker Park until 1997.
