Roman Catholic Diocese of Évry-Corbeil-Essonnes

Évry Cathedral (French: Cathédrale de la Résurrection d'Évry; "Évry Cathedral of the Resurrection") is a Roman Catholic church located in the new town of Évry (Essonne), France. The cathedral was designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta. It opened in 1995 and was consecrated and dedicated to Saint Corbinian in 1996. It is the only cathedral begun and completed in France in the 20th century.

Évry-Courcouronnes (French pronunciation: [evʁi kuʁkuʁɔn]) is a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France, prefecture of the department of Essonne.It was established on 1 January 2019 from the amalgamation of the communes of Évry and Courcouronnes.The city is the home of the Genopole.

Évry-Courcouronnes Centre is a RER station in Évry, Essonne, Île-de-France, France. The station was opened in 1975 and is on the Grigny–Corbeil-Essonnes railway. The RER Line D, which is operated by the SNCF, serves the station.

The École nationale supérieure d'informatique pour l'industrie et l'entreprise (ENSIIE) (National School of Computer Science for Industry and Business), formerly known as Institut d'informatique d'entreprise, is a French public grandes écoles specialising in computer science and applied mathematics. Students can be admitted to ENSIIE through the selective Concours Mines-Télécom examination, after a strong competition during two years of undergraduate studies in classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles. The selection was done on the Concours Centrale-Supélec examination before 2015. Students can also be admitted through parallel admissions, coming from various IUT as well as multiplie faculties all around France, along with a number of international students through partnerships. The school belongs to prestigious groups of institutions such as Institut Mines-Télécom, or University of Paris-Saclay (associate member).The ENSIIE Engineering School was created by the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in 1968. Initially located in Paris, it is now in Évry (France). In 2020, the ENSIIE benefits from a network of over 4000 Alumni, engineer who have graduated from the school under any major or type of training.

It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Évry-Courcouronnes.It consists of the commune of Évry-Courcouronnes.

The Communauté d'agglomération Grand Paris Sud Seine-Essonne-Sénart is the communauté d'agglomération, an intercommunal structure, in the southern suburbs of Paris. It is located in the Essonne and Seine-et-Marne departments, in the Île-de-France region, northern France. It was created in January 2016. Its seat is in Courcouronnes. Its area is 221.2 km2. Its population was 352,123 in 2018.

Bâtiment 7 or simply bât 7 (BAT 7) also known as 7binks (Seven Binks) is a housing project in Évry, Essonne, Île-de-France about 30 km south of Paris. Built on a locale known as La Dalle du Parc aux Lièvres, the building complex is recognized as an iconic one and is famous for being home to a number of French rappers, including Koba Lad, Bolémvn, Shotas, Keusty, Kodes, 2zé, Kaflo, Keusty and Chicaille Argenté and some others. A mural wall of many of the artists was drawn as a tribute. The label Seven Binks refers to the building. The debut album of the label is BAT7 and released on 23 July 2021. A number of French rap releases also refer to the project. Le Bâtiment 7 and La Dalle are scheduled to be taken down and other projects rebuilt in their place for 1800 new lodgings. This will revitalize the area with reopening of many businesses that closed under the present conditions. Mayor of Évry-Courcouronnes Stéphane Beaudet has approved the destruction and replacement by a new project, despite a campaign to spare the building and instead making much needed renovations. Nico le Colombien, a journalist at Booska-P prepared a documentary on the channel StreetPress about the building and met many of its artists. The 2020 documentary was directed by Matthieu Bidan and Cléo Bertet. Bidan was concerned about its fate saying: "This is crazy, because this building is a super remarkable location for the French rap nowadays" and wanted to keep a record of what the building represents. On one of the walls of Seven Binks, is written: "Le Parc aux Lièvres, Plus Qu'un Quartier, Une Fraternité" (Parc aux Lièvres. more than just a quarter, a brotherhood). On 23 July 2021, the collective Seven Binks released an album titled Bat 7 about the housing project. It had been preceded by an EP of songs by Seven Binks called 7 Binks released in December 2020. The album has charted on the French Albums Chart.
