Lod Municipal Stadium (Hebrew: אצטדיון עירוני לוד, Itztadion Ironi Lod) is a football stadium in Neot Itzhak neighborhood of Lod, Israel. It is currently the home stadium of Hapoel Bnei Lod.The stadium was built in the 1960s to accommodate Lod's football clubs of Beitar, Maccabi and Hapoel, but fell into disuse and disrepair after the city's major club closed. In 2010, the city was granted 10 million NIS by The Israeli Sports Betting Council, which was used, in part, to renovate the stadium. The stadium was further renovated ahead of the 2015 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship, in which the stadium hosted 4 matches.Adjacent to the stadium are three pitches, including a synthetic pitch, used by the city's minor teams, Hapoel Lod (which also host matches in the main stadium) and F.C. Tzeirei Lod.

The Church of Saint George (Arabic: كنيسة القديس جيورجوس or كنيسة مار جريس, Hebrew: כנסיית גאורגיוס הקדוש קוטל הדרקון, "Church of Saint George, slayer of the dragon") is a Christian Greek Orthodox Church located in Lod, Israel, which serves as a shrine for the fourth-century Christian martyr Saint George. The current church, built in 1870, sits adjacent to Lod's El-Khidr Mosque (dedicated to Muslim prophet Al-Khidr, often associated with Saint George).

The Great Omari Mosque of Lod, also known as al-Omari Mosque or the Great Mosque of Lod, is a mosque in the city of Lod (Lydd), in Israel, which is located adjacent to the 19th-century Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George, allegedly erected over the tomb of the fourth-century martyr George of Lydda, who is frequently associated with the Muslim holy figure Al-Khadr.

The Lod Mosaic is a mosaic floor dated to ca. 300 CE discovered in 1996 in the Israeli town of Lod, formerly Lydda. Believed to have been created for a private villa, it is one of the largest (180 m²) and best-preserved mosaic floors uncovered in the country. It depicts land animals, fish and two Roman ships. It was restored in the labs of the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA). After an overseas tour of several years it will be displayed in the purpose-built Shelby White and Leon Levy Lod Mosaic Archaeological Center.

Ramleh Commonwealth War Graves Commission Cemetery and Memorial to the Missing is for personnel of both World Wars and the period of Mandatory Palestine. It is located in the town of Ramla in Israel. The cemetery grounds were assigned to the United Kingdom in perpetuity by the municipality of Ramla in recognition of the sacrifices made by the British Empire in the defence and liberation of Palestine during the war. It is the largest cemetery for Commonwealth forces in Israel.

Daniel Interchange is a key freeway interchange in the Central District of Israel, located west of its namesake, the village of Kfar Daniel and just south of Ben Shemen Interchange. The interchange takes the form of a 1.5 kilometer long road concurrency of Highway 1 and Highway 6 running north–south. It is possible to switch between Highways 1 and 6 only proceeding in the same general direction of north or south (toward Tel Aviv or Jerusalem respectively on Highway 1). Reversing direction is possible at the adjacent Ben Shemen Interchange to the northwest or via Route 431 to the southeast.

Maasiyahu Prison is a minimum-security prison in Ramle, Israel, run by the Israel Prison Service.

Daniyal (Arabic: دانيال) was a Palestinian village in the Ramle Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War on July 10, 1948, by the Yiftach Brigade under the first phase of Operation Dani. It was located 5 km east of Ramla and southeast of Lydda.

Lod (Hebrew: לוד, לֹד‎; Arabic: اللد al-Lidd, al-Ludd; Latin: Lydda, Diospolis, Ancient Greek: Λύδδα / Διόσπολις – city of Zeus) is a city 15 km (9.3 mi) southeast of Tel Aviv in the Central District of Israel. In 2019 it had a population of 77,223.The name is derived from the Biblical city of Lod, and it was a significant Judean town from the Maccabean Period to the early Christian period. During the 1948 Arab–Israeli War most of the city's Arab inhabitants were expelled in the 1948 Palestinian exodus from Lydda and Ramle, also known as the Lydda Death March. The town was resettled by Jewish immigrants, most of them from Arab countries, alongside 1,056 Arabs who remained. Today, Los is one of Israel's mixed cities, with an Arab population of 30%.Israel's main international airport, Ben Gurion Airport (previously known as Lydda Airport, RAF Lydda, and Lod Airport) is located on the outskirts of the city.

Diocese of Lydda (Lod) is one of the oldest bishoprics of the early Christian Church in the Holy Land. Suppressed under Persian and Arab-Islamic rule, it was revived by the Crusaders and remains a Latin Catholic titular see.

Ben Shemen (Hebrew: בֶּן שֶׁמֶן, lit. very fruitful) is a moshav in central Israel. Located around four kilometres east of Lod, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hevel Modi'in Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 870.

Ayalon Prison (Hebrew: בית סוהר איילון), formerly known as Ramla Prison, is a maximum-security prison located in Ramla, Israel. It is managed by the Israel Prison Service. The prison was opened in 1950, and was built in the style of the Tegart forts from the British Mandate era. It is one of four high-security criminal prisons operated by the Israel Prison Service. Ayalon Prison has 625 cells divided into 15 wings, including an isolation wing for prisoners in solitary confinement. It has an educational center with six classrooms for primary education and classes for English, computers and art. The prison also has facilities for meditation, sports, parenting, drug rehabilitation in addition to eight factories which employ inmates and a radio station operated by inmates selected and trained to broadcast rehabilitative and educational content to all other prisons in Israel.
