Red Mountain Lake

Red Mountain High School is a four-year public high school in the eastern part of Mesa, Arizona. It opened in 1988 with Robert Free as the founding principal. In the 1994–95 and 1995-96 school years, it was honored as a Blue Ribbon school. RMHS received the 2014 A+ School Award under the direction of Dr. Gerald Slemmer, principal (2004-2014). They received the award again in 2018 under Mr. Jared Ryan, principal (2014-2019). Red Mountain High School has over 3,300 students enrolled as of the 2020–21 school year. It is a part of the Mesa Unified School District.

The Buckhorn Baths Motel at 5900 East Main Street at the corner of North Recker Road in Mesa, Arizona was a small mineral hot springs resort which offered a bathhouse as well as both cottages and motel rooms for overnight stays. Beginning in 1936 as a gas station and store, Ted and Alice Sliger developed the property into a resort complex which opened in 1939 and was virtually complete as of 1947. It continued to operate until 1999, when the bathhouse closed, although the motel and "Wildlife Museum" continued until 2004. Although built over the course of more than a decade, the buildings are all designed in the Pueblo Revival style. The majority of the complex – but not buildings on the adjoining parcel of land to the west, also owned by the Singers and integrated into the resort complex – was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Buckhorn Hot Mineral Wells also known as Buckhorn Baths, and Buckhorn Mineral Wells is a hot spring located seven miles East of Mesa, Arizona.

Leisure World is a gated, 55+ adult age restricted community located on a county island, in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. The community is sovereign to, and surrounded by, the city of Mesa. Established in 1973, the community consists of nearly 500 condominiums and over 2100 single family residences.

Dreamland Villa is a retirement community situated in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It was one of the first retirement communities built in Arizona. Begun as a development in 1959 by Ross Farnsworth, within fifteen years it encompassed 3000 homes. It has an estimated elevation of 1,371 feet (418 m) above sea level.In 1978, residents opposed annexation by the city of Mesa. In 1979, 80 percent of Dreamland Villa residents supported a county senior citizen zoning area, which limited residents to people over 50 years of age. The measure passed. At this time, around 5,200 people lived in Dreamland Villa.

Superstition Springs Center is a shopping mall located in Mesa, Arizona. It is owned by Macerich, and was developed by Westcor. The mall features the traditional retailers Dillard's, JCPenney, and Macy's in addition to an 8-screen Picture Show. The mall features prominent specialty retailer such as Buckle, Tillys, Hollister, Charlotte Russe, BoxLunch, and See's Candies. The mall features an outdoor amphitheatre and a fountain that converts into a stage featuring free concerts from May to August on Saturday evenings. The mall also serves as a transit center for Valley Metro Bus.

KVVA-FM (107.1 MHz, "La Suavecita 106.7/107.1") is a commercial radio station licensed to Apache Junction, Arizona. It simulcasts a Spanish adult hits radio format with KDVA 106.7 FM in Buckeye, serving the Phoenix metropolitan area. The stations are owned by Entravision Communications, with studios near Sky Harbor Airport. KVVA-FM has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 17,000 watts as a Class C3 station. The transmitter is off North Crismon Road in Mesa.

Apache Wells is the name of both fictional and real locations in southern Arizona.

The SuperRedTan Interchange is a symmetrical four-level freeway interchange in eastern Mesa, Arizona. Completed in 2007, the interchange provides access between U.S. Route 60 and Loop 202. It is fully directional, meaning that a motorist traveling towards the interchange in any direction can exit onto either direction of the intersecting freeway. The interchange is said to be the first in the Valley of the Sun to include design icons on the support columns in addition to the retaining walls. There are no HOV connections at this time, although they are planned in the future.

CAE Phoenix (formerly CAE Oxford Aviation Academy Phoenix, CAE Global Academy Phoenix and Sabena Airline Training Center) (CAE SATC) is an aviation school owned by CAE and located in Mesa at Falcon Field Airport. A former subsidiary of Sabena Flight Academy, the school has previously trained students including those of Air Algérie, SFA, Nationale Luchtvaartschool (NLS), Turkish Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, EVA Air, British Airways, Southwest Airlines, Japan Airlines, jetBlue, American Airlines, Emirates, EasyJet, CityJet, IndiGo, Aeromexico and AirAsia.

Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH) is a graduate school of dentistry located in the city of Mesa, Arizona, United States, and is affiliated with A.T. Still University.It was the first dental school in Arizona, having opened its doors in 2003 and graduated its first class in 2007. The curriculum places a large focus on public health. The school is accredited by the American Dental Association.In 2005, the school received a $268,000 Piper Trust Award to purchase equipment, including a CT scan machine, for treating special needs children in the community.

A.T. Still University - School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) is a private medical school in Mesa, Arizona. It was established in 2007 as the Arizona campus of A.T. Still University. A.T. Still University (ATSU) is the original founding institution of osteopathic healthcare, established in 1892 by Andrew Taylor Still in Kirksville, Missouri. SOMA is accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
