Concordia High School is a private Christian high school in Pflugerville, Texas . The school is the only Lutheran high school in the greater Austin area. Concordia High School prepares students to navigate a dynamic world by building positive life defining relationships, equipping students to think critically, and rooting their identity in Christ. CHS is noted for rigorous academics and Christ-centered learning focus.The AP courses offered are: AP Calculus, AP Economics, AP Physics B, and AP US History. Dual credit classes are also offered and vary by year. Currently ten sports are offered: cheer, football, cross country, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, and track. Extracurricular activities include band, choir, drama, art, Science Olympiad, National Honor Society, yearbook, TAPPS academic competition, student council, and class retreats. Before the start of classes every August, the new freshman class goes to Camp Lone Star to ease the transition from middle to high school. Prom is hosted every year by the Junior class for the Juniors and Seniors to celebrate the end of the school year.

The Commodore Perry Estate Hotel is a hotel operated by Auberge Resorts in the Hancock neighborhood of Austin, Texas. The property on which the hotel sits was listed in the National Register of Historic Places as Perry Estate / St. Mary's Academy on August 8, 2001 and, on September 12, 2024, the hotel operating on the site received two Michelin Keys, one of only three such hotels in Texas and the only two key hotel in Austin, Texas.

Sri Atmananda Memorial School was a private school that for sixteen years (1995–2011) was located in a historic property north and east of the Hyde Park neighborhood of Austin, Texas. At the end it served grades K-12. Previously it only covered elementary school. The founding director of the school was Pattye Henderson, whose family had previously owned the school site, an historic mansion and 10-acre (40,000 m2) campus at 4100 Red River Street in Austin, Texas, originally owned by cotton entrepreneur E.H. Perry and his family.

Blackland is a historically black neighborhood on the east side of Austin, Texas, located north of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, south of Manor Road, east of I-35, and west of Chestnut Street. The neighborhood was originally known as Blacklands and was settled by Swedish immigrants, but evolved into a predominantly African-American neighborhood following the 1928 Austin city plan, which called for the relocation of non-white residents to the east side of the city. Up until the 1980s, the neighborhood was targeted for demolition to make way for an expansion of the University of Texas campus. In 1983, the Blackland Community Development Corporation was formed to build, purchase and maintain housing for low-income families and special populations.

The Cox–Craddock House is a historic Colonial Revival-style house built in 1928 in Austin, Texas. It was designed by the architect Hugo Kuehne. Robert A. and Linda Cox, the first owners of the house, were both economics professors at the University of Texas. Linda Cox sold the house in 1948 to Larry Inge Craddock, who had a variety of business interests in the city, including a miniature golf course and gas stations. Craddock enclosed the piazza and sleeping porch on the east end of the house. The current owner has restored the piazza to Kuehne's original open design and railing.The home is located at 720 East 32nd Street. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 30, 2001, as an excellent example of a Colonial Revival residence. It is built of brick and has a "symmetrical composition" in which a "pedimented portico forms the prominent central entry." The side-gabled roof is pierced on the front side by three pedimented dormers.The design by Hugo Kuehne included a porte cochere which was not built.
