Bruche is a large suburb of Warrington, in the Warrington district, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England.It forms the old border of Poulton and Warrington. In 2005 it was home to the Bruche Police Training Centre, a national police training centre. It changed from Bruch sometime before 1888. You can still see the old name on the bridge over Padgate Brook.

Warrington Rylands 1906 Football Club is a football club based in Warrington, England. The club currently plays in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, is an FA Charter Standard Club and its nickname is the Blues.

Padgate railway station is a railway station in the Padgate area of the east of the town of Warrington, in North West England. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by Northern Trains. It is 14 miles (23 km) west of Manchester Oxford Road on the southern route of the Liverpool to Manchester Line.

It is located in the town of Warrington in Cheshire, England. In June 2017, a small fire was found in a ground floor room which caused Firefighters from Warrington and Stockton Heath station to attend.

Padgate is a suburb of Warrington, in the civil parish of Poulton-with-Fearnhead, in the Warrington district, in the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England.

Padgate Academy is a coeducational secondary school located in the Padgate area of Warrington in the English county of Cheshire.It was first known as Padgate Community High School, it then became Lysander Community High School. The school converted to academy status on 1 January 2013 and was renamed University Academy Warrington. Previously it was a community school under the direct control of Warrington Borough Council. The school continues to coordinate with Warrington Borough Council regarding its admissions. In December 2018, the school was rebrokered and became Padgate Academy, sponsored by The Challenge Academy Trust.

Paddington Meadows is a Local Nature Reserve in Warrington, Cheshire. The land was donated to Warrington Borough council in 1995. It was designated in November 2005. The site comprises almost 30 hectares of meadow grassland occupying the area to the south of Manchester Road (the A57) and to the north of the Mersey. It is five minutes by car from Warrington town centre. There is ongoing active management of the hedgerows which include thinning and laying of the various edges. Hawthorns also grow in an orchard area rather than the more useful hedge arrangement. There are various paths around the perimeter and crossing the meadows that are open and closed at various times dependent on conservation projects. On occasion the members of the Warrington rowing club can be seen using the Mersey. Rare breed longhorn cattle are grazed on the site during the summer months and they play a vital role in keeping the grass short, which in turn encourages ground nesting birds such as skylark. A wild flower meadow has been created on one of the fields. The site attracts flocks of fieldfares and redwings, which feed on the berries of some of the oldest hawthorn hedges in the Cheshire area. A major project was started in 2009 to clean up the Woolston new cut canal that runs along the northern edge of the meadows. Invasive flora is being cut back and long-term projects are attempting to remove pollution and toxicants from the silt in the canal.

Poulton-with-Fearnhead is a civil parish and suburb of Warrington, in the Borough of Warrington, Cheshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 17,019. The parish includes northern and eastern suburbs of Warrington, including Padgate, Fearnhead, Cinnamon Brow, Blackbrook, Longbarn, Bruche and Paddington. From northwards clockwise, it borders the parishes of Croft (at a point on a motorway junction), Birchwood, Woolston, the unparished area of Warrington, then the parish of Winwick.

Orford Park is a municipal park in the town of Warrington, Cheshire, England. Orford Hall and surrounding lands were donated to Warrington Council in December 1916. The hall was demolished in 1935 but its grounds remain as Orford Park, a green lung in an area near the town centre. There are plans for major sport and community development in the park, which is currently the site of two tennis courts and a bowling green. In 2009, a £30m redevelopment project for the park was approved by Warrington Borough Council. Work began in May of that year and concluded three years later in May 2012. The project saw Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub built on the western end of Orford Park, which was opened by Elizabeth II as part of her Diamond Jubilee celebrations. A Decathlon sports store was built on the land directly adjacent to Winwick Road. New paved paths were installed to create a route for pedestrians and cycles between Winwick Road, Hallfields Road and School Road. A pond was added at the northern edge of the park. The original main area in the southeast of the park was updated; it now boasts a skate park, children's playground, bowling green, ball court and football pitches. The park is home to number of British birds, mammals, amphibians, fish and invertebrates, along with occasional visiting reptiles. Some common species include mallards, black-headed gulls, water voles, common frogs and common gulls. William Beamont, a local historian and the first Mayor of Warrington lived in Orford Hall for some 23 years, until his death in 1889.

St Elphin's Church is the parish church of the town of Warrington, Cheshire, England. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Liverpool, the archdeaconry of Warrington and the deanery of Warrington.
