NSITE High School (formerly Business Careers High School) is a business and technology magnet high school part of the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas. It is a "school within a school" located on the campus of Oliver Wendell Holmes High School. The school attracts students who want to study business and other related fields. The school allows the students to grasp the concepts of the business world easier by offering laptops to each student to use for a school purposes.

Oliver Wendell Holmes High School is a public high school that is part of the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas (United States). It was established in 1964 and is known for its circular architecture, in which several buildings are completely cylindrical. As with all Northside ISD schools, Holmes is named for a former or current United States Supreme Court justice, in this case Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. Holmes High School is also the parent school for Business Careers High School, a magnet school in NISD. In 2017, the Holmes was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency, with a 6-Star Distinction for Academic Achievements in ELA/Reading, Mathematics, Social Studies, Top 25 Percent Student Progress, Top 25 Percent Closing Performance Gaps, and Postsecondary Readiness.

Ingram Park Mall is a super regional shopping center located in the northwest section of San Antonio, Texas, at the intersection of Interstate 410 and Ingram Road. The anchor stores are Dillard's, JCPenney, and Macy's Backstage. There are 2 vacant anchor stores that were once Dillard’s Home Center and Sears.

The NSA/CSS Texas Cryptologic Center (TCC), also known as the Texas Cryptology Center, Texas Cryptographic Center or NSA Texas, is a satellite campus at the Medina Annex, Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, operated by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA). It is adjacent to the former Medina National Stockpile Site. TCC conducts signals intelligence, cyberwarfare operations and cybersecurity operations.

Texas's 20th congressional district of the United States House of Representatives includes the western half of San Antonio and Bexar County in Texas. The district is heavily Latino/Hispanic (predominantly of Mexican descent), as is the surrounding area. Charlie Gonzalez, who represented the district from 1999 to 2013 after succeeding his father, Henry B. González, did not seek re-election in the 2012 United States House of Representatives elections. State representative Joaquin Castro, the Democratic nominee to replace Gonzalez, defeated David Rosa, the Republican nominee, in the race for Texas's 20th district on November 6, 2012. His term began on January 3, 2013. The 20th district is heavily Democratic. It has never sent a Republican to Congress, and has not supported a Republican for president since 1956. In 1972, this was one of two congressional districts in the state of Texas to vote for George McGovern (the other being the 18th district in Houston). In 1984, this district gave Walter Mondale 59% of its vote.

International Bible College was a Christian Bible College located on 5 acres (0.020 km2) northwest of historic downtown San Antonio, Texas, U.S. Founded by Leonard Coote in 1942, International Bible College was among the oldest Christian Colleges in Texas and the Southwest before it closed in 2010.

Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium (informally Wolff Stadium) is a stadium in San Antonio, Texas, United States. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the San Antonio Missions Minor League Baseball team of the Texas League. The UTSA Roadrunners baseball team also plays some home games at the stadium. The stadium is named for Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff, who is a former Texas legislator and San Antonio councilman and mayor. The Wolff is located about 8 miles (13 km) to the west of Downtown San Antonio. It was opened on April 18, 1994, (as the San Antonio Municipal Stadium) and has 6,200 fixed seats and a grass berm in left field that can seat about 3,000. The stadium features 14 luxury suites, a 500-person picnic area down the right field line, and an all-you-can-eat-and-drink fiesta deck that can be rented for groups of 25 to 200 people. The dimensions (from home plate to the outfield wall) are: 310 feet (94 m) to left field, 402 feet (123 m) to center field, and 340 feet (100 m) to right field.

John Jay High School is a public high school in the Northside Independent School District of San Antonio, Texas, United States, which generally serves the northwest portion of the city.

John Jay Science and Engineering Academy is a magnet school in San Antonio, Texas (United States) which provides an academic education in a digital environment. Students and teachers pursue research projects that are collaboratively designed to develop critical thinking, technological competence, and academic achievement. The Academy is a "school within a school" sharing the campus of John Jay High School with a mission to provide students with a curriculum in science, engineering, math, and technology that will prepare them for further study and careers in science and engineering. The instructional program of the Science & Engineering Academy aims to ensure a thorough education in science, engineering, and mathematics. Students are required to take four science and math courses each of their four years of high school, which allows them to graduate with a cumulative total of 26 credits. Students are encouraged to explore a variety of learning modes within the curriculum. Options include Independent Study, Research, Seminars, and the Internship program. The focus on science and engineering is enhanced by the availability of computers, laboratory facilities, independent research, mentors, field trips, summer internships, and opportunities for special projects. In 2012 the expulsion of one of the school's students for not complying with the school district's Student Locator Project attracted publicity. The Principal of the Academy is Teresa Cuellar, and the Vice Principal is Crystal Mitchell. In 2009, the school was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.

The San Antonio Aquarium is a for-profit aquarium located in San Antonio, Texas. The facility features a number of interactive exhibits where touching the animals was permitted. The aquarium is owned and operated by Crysty Covino, the wife of former owner Ammon Covino.

Northside Independent School District is a school district headquartered in Leon Valley, Texas. It is the largest school district in the San Antonio area and the fourth largest in the State of Texas. Northside serves 355 square miles (920 km2) of urban landscape, suburban growth and rural territory in the San Antonio suburbs and the Hill Country. Northside is roughly 50 percent built out with the center of the district's boundaries near Helotes, just north of the Bandera Road and Loop 1604 intersection. Because of fast-paced growth, the district envisions possibly another four high schools over the next few decades, including far west areas off Potranco Road and Hwy 211 (near the Medina County line), Culebra Road (FM 471) past Talley Road, I-10 near Boerne Stage Road (north of the Dominion) and far north Bandera Road (Hwy 16) near the Pipe Creek/Bandera County/Medina County areas. Northside ISD serves a portion of the city of San Antonio as well as the cities of Grey Forest, Leon Valley, Shavano Park, Helotes, and the unincorporated communities of Cross Mountain, Leon Springs, and Scenic Oaks. The district also serves some unincorporated portions of Bexar, Bandera and Medina counties. In 2011, the school district was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency for the fourth consecutive year.
