The Disneyland Resort, The Outlets at Orange, St. Joseph Hospital, Children's Hospital of Orange County, the UCI Medical Center, Westfield MainPlace, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Honda Center, Platinum Triangle and the Lamaroux Justice Center of the Superior Court of California of the County of Orange are all located at or near the interchange.This interchange of the Santa Ana (Interstate 5), Garden Grove (State Route 22), and Orange (State Route 57) freeways was listed in the 2002 Guinness World Records book as the most complex road interchange in the world. The name of the interchange, credited to KNX Radio traffic and weather reporter Bill Keene, is a play on the name of the Orange Crush soda.

Christ Cathedral (Latin: Cathedralis Christi; Spanish: Catedral de Cristo; Vietnamese: Nhà Thờ Chính Tòa Chúa Kitô), formerly and informally known as the Crystal Cathedral, is an American church building of the Diocese of Orange, located in Garden Grove, California. The reflective glass building, by the firm of Philip Johnson/John Burgee Architects, seats 2,248 people. The church was touted as "the largest glass building in the world" when it was completed in 1981. The building has one of the largest musical instruments in the world, the Hazel Wright Organ.From 1981 to 2013, the building was the principal place of worship for Crystal Cathedral Ministries (now Shepherd's Grove), a congregation of the Reformed Church in America, founded in 1955 by Robert H. Schuller. Crystal Cathedral Ministries filed for bankruptcy in October 2010 and in February 2012 sold the building and its adjacent campus to the Diocese of Orange for use as the diocese's new cathedral. The building, especially the interior, was renovated by Johnson Fain to accommodate the Catholic liturgy. Following the completion of construction, the building was consecrated and formally renamed "Christ Cathedral", the seat of the Diocese of Orange, on July 17, 2019.

The Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD), one of four community college districts located in Orange County, California, offers associate degrees and adult education certificates through its two colleges: Santa Ana College in Santa Ana and Santiago Canyon College in Orange. The RSCCD serves central and eastern Orange County, covering 24% of the county's total area (193 square miles) in the cities of Orange and Villa Park, as well as the community of Anaheim Hills and portions of the cities of Garden Grove, Irvine, Santa Ana, and Tustin. The RSCCD is governed by a Board of Trustees that is composed of seven trustees elected by the registered voters within the district's boundaries and one student member elected by the student body of Santa Ana College and Santiagao Canyon College. Trustees, with the exception of the student member, are elected to four-year terms commencing in December of the year elected. As terms are staggered, elections are held every two years in connection with the general election. The seven locally elected trustees must reside in three specific areas but are elected at-large. The current trustees and the areas that they were elected from are as follows: For 2020, Trustee Claudia C. Alvarez is serving as the Board President, Trustee Nelida Mendoza as the Board Vice President, and Trustee Phillip Yarbrough as the Board Clerk.

The Discovery Cube Orange County, formerly known as the Discovery Science Center and the Taco Bell Discovery Science Center, is a science museum in Santa Ana, California, with more than 100 hands-on science exhibits designed to spark children's natural curiosity. Designed by the architect firm Arquitectonica with structural engineers Carl Johnson and Svend Nielsen, it has become a visual landmark due to its ten-story solar array cube that stands over Interstate 5.

Santa Ana Stadium, also known as Eddie West Field or the Santa Ana Bowl, is a city-owned and operated 9,000-capacity American football and soccer stadium located in downtown Santa Ana. The field was named after Eddie West, a writer for the Orange County Register and tireless supporter of the Santa Ana College Dons and all Orange County sports.The city's stadium holds many events in addition to its high school and college football main draws, including children's and adult soccer games through local leagues, high school and college commencement ceremonies and more. The City of Santa Ana scheduled retrofitting of the stadium to begin on January 4, 2016 and end on April 30, 2016 but work was not completed until August 2016. Current tenants include the Santa Ana Unified School District's High School football teams, the Santa Ana College Dons football team, and the Mater Dei Monarchs football team. The upstart United Premier Soccer League, founded in Santa Ana, also holds occasional exhibition and league playoff matches at the stadium, for its various clubs.
