Muddy Run is a 17.6-mile-long (28.3 km) tributary of the Maurice River in southwestern New Jersey in the United States.It flows in a generally southeastern direction through southern Gloucester County.

Monroeville Vineyard & Winery is a winery in the Monroeville section of Upper Pittsgrove Township in Salem County, New Jersey. The vineyard was first planted in 2010, and opened to the public in 2012. Monroeville has 4 acres of grapes under cultivation, and produces 1,800 cases of wine per year from New Jersey and Chilean grapes. The winery is named for the community where it is located.

Friendship is an unincorporated community located within Upper Pittsgrove Township in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is located approximately 1.3 mi (2.1 km) west of Monroeville. The community is the site of Friendship United Methodist Church.

Elk Township is a township in Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 4,424, an increase of 208 (+4.9%) from the 2010 census count of 4,216, which in turn reflected an increase of 702 (+20.0%) from the 3,514 counted in the 2000 census.Elk Township was formed as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 17, 1891, from portions of Clayton Township, Glassboro Township, and South Harrison Township. The township was named for elk hunted in the area.Until 2016, Elk Township had been a dry township where alcohol could not be sold. That year, the township sold a package goods license for $300,000, which allows the sale of alcohol for off-premise consumption.

David V. Smith House is located in Elmer, Salem County, New Jersey, United States. The house was built in 1830 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 17, 1976.

John W. Smithson Field is a baseball venue in Merion Station, Pennsylvania, United States. It is home to the Saint Joseph's Hawks baseball team of the NCAA Division I Atlantic 10 Conference. The field hosted its first game in spring 2012. The venue has a capacity of 400 spectators. It is named for John Smithson, Saint Joseph's alumni and once interim president of Saint Joseph's University.

The Elmer School District was a community public school district that served students in kindergarten through fourth grade from the Borough of Elmer in Salem County, New Jersey, United States. The district also operated The Learning Center in Elmer School for infants through PreK-4. At a meeting conducted in June 2009, the Elmer Board of Education voted to merge with the Pittsgrove Township School District and would send all of its students as part of the send-receive relationship.For fifth through twelfth grades, public school students attended Pittsgrove Township Middle School (5-8) and then Arthur P. Ferrell is an unincorporated community located within Elk Township, in Gloucester County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It was named after Thomas M. Ferrell of Glassboro, a well-known politician in the area. The community of Ferrell was originally known as Fairview, but was changed to its current name as soon as the post office was established, due to an already existing Fairview.

The Appel Farm Arts and Music Festival was an annual one-day festival held the first Saturday in June at Appel Farm Arts and Music Center located near Elmer, in Salem County, New Jersey, United States. Appel Farm's signature concert event featured a juried crafts fair, a Children's Village with games and activities, and beer and wine tents. The festival's draw extended beyond New Jersey, attracting audiences of up to 10,000 from the entire mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
