Nishi-Nagahori Station (西長堀駅, Nishi-Nagahori-eki) is a railway station on the Osaka Metro Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line and Sennichimae Line in Nishi-ku, Osaka, Japan.

Ashiharachō Station (芦原町駅, Ashiharachō-eki) is a railway station in Naniwa-ku, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Nankai Electric Railway.

Nishi (西区, Nishi-ku) is one of 24 wards of Osaka, Japan. It is in the west of central Osaka ("Nishi" means "west"), and is generally flat. 80% of the area was destroyed by bombing in World War II, and was not regenerated until the mid-1960s.

Osaka City Air Terminal (OCAT) is a multi-purpose commercial complex in Minatomachi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka housing South Osaka's inter-city bus terminal and coach ferry services to Kansai International Airport, JR Namba station and six floors of shops, restaurants, travel agencies and tourist offices. OCAT is also the venue for frequent musical performances and its outdoor Ponte Square area is the meeting place and practice area for Osaka's youthful street dance community. Urban dance competitions are held there every August. Despite the name of the complex, OCAT is not actually an air terminal itself but part of an extended, inter-connected underground transport hub to Kansai International Airport. Namba Station, the terminal for south Osaka City bound train services (including Kansai International) is within 15 minutes walking distance from OCAT via the Namba Walk - an underground passageway lined with shops, bars and restaurants.

JR Namba Station (JR難波駅, Jeiāru-Nanba-eki) is a railway station in Namba, Naniwa Ward, Osaka, Japan, adjacent to Namba Station (Nankai Railway, Osaka Subway) and Ōsaka Namba Station (Kintetsu, Hanshin Railway) operated by the West Japan Railway Company (JR West). JR Namba is the western terminus of the Kansai Main Line (Yamatoji Line).

Ashiharabashi Station (芦原橋駅, Ashiharabashi-eki) is a railway station on the West Japan Railway Company Osaka Loop Line in Naniwa-ku, Osaka, Japan. There is a transfer to the Nankai Electric Railway Shiombashi Line at Ashiharachō Station. The station opened on April 1, 1966.

The Kyocera Dome Osaka (京セラドーム大阪, Kyōsera Dōmu Ōsaka) (official name: Osaka Dome (大阪ドーム, Ōsaka Dōmu)) is a baseball stadium located in Osaka, Osaka, Japan. Opened in 1997, the stadium was the home field of the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes. In 2005, the stadium became one of the homes of the Orix Buffaloes, a result of the merger between the Orix BlueWave and Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes. Prior to the Osaka Dome opening, the Buffaloes played their home games at Fujiidera Stadium. The Hanshin Tigers also use the stadium as their "home field" for their season openers and their home games in August because their stadium, Koshien Stadium, is used for high school baseball tournaments during those periods.The Dome hosted the Pride Total Elimination 2005 and Pride Total Elimination Absolute mixed martial arts fights.

Amerikamura (also America mura; アメリカ村, American Village) is a sizable retail and entertainment area near Shinsaibashi in the Chūō-ku district of Osaka, Japan. It is usually referred to by locals as "Ame-mura". Amerikamura is an area stretching from Nagahori Street to Dotombori, located in the west side of the Shinsaibashi station.Amerikamura is identifiable by a small-scale reproduction of the Statue of Liberty that peers down on the streets. It is a well-known haunt of expatriates, and centres on Triangle Park, a concrete rest area surrounded by retail outlets of Western fashions, bars and nightclubs, some of which are run by Westerners. Its reputation as a hangout for foreigners is a matter of degree. Osaka's registered foreign population is a small fraction of the total population; the makeup of the crowds and retail space in Ame-mura is predominantly Japanese. Locally, Ame-mura is known for being a place for observing some of the more "fashion intense" manifestations of Japanese pop culture. In 1983, the "Peace on Earth" mural was painted in Amerikamura by artist Seitaro Kuroda.

The Osaka Municipal Fire Department (Japanese: 大阪市消防局, Hepburn: Ōsaka-shi Shōbōkyoku) is the fire department of Osaka City, Japan. Formed in 1948 during the post-war reorganisation of Japan's government, the OMFD is today the third-largest fire department in Japan (behind the Tokyo Fire Department and the Yokohama Fire Bureau) by number of firefighters, operating out of their headquarters in Nishi Ward and the 89 fire stations and branch stations spread across the city. In the 2023 financial year, the OMFD responded to 707 fires (a 10% increase on the previous year, with building fires making up 77.9% of total fire calls), 263,089 calls for emergency medical services, 4,431 technical rescue operations, and 8,946 other calls for assistance, including hazardous materials, flood prevention, animal rescue incidents, and 6,117 false alarm callouts. The year also saw the OMFD process 6,229 building fire safety plan applications, 62,654 fire safety equipment certification applications, and 6,913 hazardous materials permit applications, as well as inspecting 56,096 pieces of fire safety equipment and delivering 661,443 fire safety visits.

Ōsaka Namba Station (大阪難波駅, Ōsaka-Nanba-eki) is a railway station on the Kintetsu Namba Line and Hanshin Namba Line in the Namba district of Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan. It is adjacent to Namba Station and JR Namba Station. Trains of the Nara Line depart from and arrive at the station.
