Framura (Ligurian: Framua [fɾaˈmyːa]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of La Spezia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Genoa and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of La Spezia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 739 and an area of 18.9 square kilometres (7.3 sq mi). The municipality of Framura contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Anzo, Ravecca, Setta, Costa, and Castagnola. Framura borders the following municipalities: Bonassola, Carrodano, Deiva Marina, Levanto. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").

Moneglia (Italian: [moˈneʎʎa]; Ligurian: Moneggia [muˈnedʒa]) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 50 kilometres (31 miles) southeast of Genoa. It is a tourist resort on the Riviera di Levante. In 2012 it was added to the list of I Borghi più belli d'Italia.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 945 and an area of 9.3 square kilometres (3.6 sq mi).The municipality of Bonassola contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Montaretto, Costella, Serra, Scernio, and San Giorgio. Bonassola borders the following municipalities: Framura, Levanto.

The SS Principessa Jolanda was an Italian transatlantic ocean liner built by Cantiere Navale di Riva Trigoso for the Navigazione Generale Italiana (NGI) shipping company. Named after Princess Yolanda of Savoy, the eldest daughter of King Victor Emmanuel III, the ship was intended for the NGI's South American service. At 9,210 tons and 141 m (463 ft) in length, she was the largest passenger ship built in Italy up to that time. Constructed at a cost of 6 million lire to designs by Erasmo Piaggio, the Principessa Jolanda has also been called the first true Italian luxury liner. She was among the first transatlantic vessels fitted with Marconi Wireless telegraphy, electric lighting throughout and telephones in each cabin.At 12:25 pm on 22 September 1907 the nearly completed Principessa Jolanda was launched before a large audience of onlookers, government officials and foreign journalists. After travelling down the slipway, the ship immediately became unstable and heeled sharply to port. Efforts by tugboats and shipyard workers to rescue the situation, including lowering the anchors to starboard to counteract the movement, were unsuccessful. After 20 minutes the vessel's list was such that it began taking on water through openings in the upper decks. She soon capsized with her funnels a few metres above and parallel to the water. Within an hour she finally slid lower until only a few feet of the side were visible. The captain, his guests and the workers onboard had just enough time to escape in the lifeboats. There were no casualties.Although brand new, she was deemed unsalvageable and the wreck was broken up on site. The engines were salvaged and used in another vessel, now believed to be the SS Milazzo.

Casarza Ligure (Ligurian: Casersa) is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southeast of Genoa. Casarza Ligure borders the following municipalities: Castiglione Chiavarese, Maissana, Moneglia, Ne, Sestri Levante.

Trigoso (earlier, Tregoso, Latin: Tigullia) is a frazione in the comune of Sestri Levante, Metropolitan City of Genoa, Liguria, Italy. It was the site of the ancient city of Tigullia, which belonged to the Ligurian tribe named Tigullii, and noted by Pliny the Elder. It is approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) inland from the centre of Sestri Levante and contains considerable Roman remains. It is probable, also, that the Tegulata of the Antonine Itineraries is identical with the Tigullia of Pliny.

Punta Manara is the end of a promontory in the Gulf of Tigullio between the Ligurian towns of Sestri Levante and Riva Trigoso in the Province of Genoa, Italy. It has been subject to environmental protection since 1977. Punta Manara is a popular destination for tourists from Italy and from all over the world. Located at the southeast of the Gulf of Tigullio, it offers glimpses of the coast and many plant and animal species that inhabit the maquis shrubland. The headland is approximately 190 hectares (470 acres), of which about 50 hectares (120 acres) are covered with by ilex trees, while the remaining area is divided between high maquis with arbutus and heather, and a small strip of cork oak woodland. At an altitude of 265 metres (869 ft), the top of the promontory is called Monte Castello and is covered by maritime pine woodland, in which are the ruins of an ancient fortress and of military buildings from World War II. The well-preserved remains of a watchtower for defence against Saracens stand at about 140 metres (460 ft) above sea level. It is a strategic site, and an excellent maritime lookout location. The northern slopes of Punta Manara collect water which flows into Rio Ravino, which crosses the main path to the headland. Although small, it collects water from several tributaries and is a used for irrigating vegetables and olive trees around the village of Ginestra. The annual rainfall in the area is about 1,200 mm (47 in). Punta Manara can only be reached by paths that climb the promontory above Sestri Levante. A nature trail on the promontory has signs that describe the plants that can be seen. There is a municipal campsite near the end of the promontory.

Santa Maria di Nazareth is a Renaissance church in the town of Sestri Levante, in the Gulf of Tigullio in the Metropolitan City of Genoa. Located in the center of the old village of Sestri Levante, adjacent to the town hall, its parish community is part of the Diocese of Chiavari.
