St. Paul's Choir School is a Catholic choir school located at the Church of St. Paul, Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Founded in 1963, by Dr. Theodore Marier (1912-2001), the middle school for boys in third through eighth grades is the only boys' choir school in the United States of America affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church, and one of the few church-affiliated choir schools in the United States. The Choir School educates and trains the choirboys who sing soprano in the choir of St. Paul's, a choir of boys and men. The choir sings for liturgical services at St. Paul's Church and performs primarily in and around the Boston area. It is located within the Archdiocese of Boston.

St. Paul Church is a parish of the Roman Catholic Church located at 29 Mount Auburn Street near Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the Archdiocese of Boston. As well as serving as the local parish church, it is the home of St. Paul's Choir School whose students serve as the choristers in the Choir of St. Paul's, and the Harvard Catholic Center serving the academic community of Harvard University. The church was built from 1916 to 1924 and was designed by Edward T. P. Graham in the Italian Romanesque style. It is part of the Harvard Square Historic District.

The Old Cambridge Baptist Church is a historic American Baptist church at 400 Harvard Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The congregation was founded in 1844 when several members of First Baptist Church in Cambridge decided to start a new church. The original meeting house was sold to the Congregationalists and became North Avenue Congregational Church. In 1869 the church constructed the current meeting house, a larger Gothic revival stone building, designed by architect Alexander Rice Esty. Old Cambridge Baptist Church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. Built of local fieldstone and granite quarried in Somerville, Massachusetts, the building is a notable example of the muscular use of stone, typical of American Gothic Revival architecture. This solidity, coupled with Esty's display of structural strength in the asymmetrical massing of forms, is further accentuated by the contrast between heavy gray stone and large, graceful, delicate stained glass windows, which the stone walls simultaneously reveal and protect. In 1897, the original Parrish Hall was lost in a fire. The rebuild was under the direction of noted Boston Theater Architect, Clarence Blackall. The most notable feature of the reconstruction is an 1890 Tiffany & Company Window. This early Tiffany window bridges the gothic stained glass tradition and emerging art nouveau movement.The church is currently home to various organizations and ministries, such as the Homeless Empowerment Project which publishes the Spare Change News street newspaper, the José Mateo Ballet Theatre, the Adbar Ethiopian Women's Alliance, the Cambridge Child and Family Associates, and others.

Café Pamplona was located at 12 Bow St. beside the intersection of Bow and Arrow Streets near Harvard Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. When it opened in 1959 it was the first café in the Square. The owner, Josefina Yanguas, claimed the café had the first espresso-maker in the city. Down a short flight of exterior stairs, past a patio with tables, customers entered the café's subterranean interior. The once austere decor included bright yellow lights which made the thickly-plastered walls glow under low ceilings, and a black and white checked floor. The café survived the changes that had taken place since the mid-1980s.

The Stickney-Shepard House is an historic house at 11-13 Remington Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The 1+1⁄2-story Greek Revival double house was built 1846-47 by N. Stickney and S. P. Shepard, and is a well-preserved example of the form. It has a heavy cornice, with corner pilasters, and a full-width front porch supported by plain columns on the corners, and fluted Doric columns in the center. The house was built on land originally part of the estate of Francis Dana, which was subdivided and developed in that time.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Richard Hapgood House is an historic multiunit house at 382-392 Harvard Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The six-unit wood-frame building was built in 1889, and represents an unusual instance of Queen Anne styling applied to such a large structure. It was built at a time when housing stock was transitioning from small types of multiunit housing (row houses and two- or four-family dwellings) to larger formats such as tenements and apartment houses.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Adams House is one of twelve undergraduate residential Houses at Harvard University, located between Harvard Square and the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Its name commemorates the services of the Adams family, including John Adams, the second president of the United States, and John Quincy Adams, the sixth president.

Harvard Union, now known as the Barker Center and once known as the Freshman Union, is a historic building on Quincy and Harvard Streets in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Lamont Library, in the southeast corner of Harvard Yard in Cambridge, Massachusetts, houses the Harvard College Library's primary undergraduate collection in humanities and social sciences. It was the first library in the United States specifically planned to serve undergraduates. Women (that is, Radcliffe College students) were admitted beginning in 1967.

Mr. Bartley's Burger Cottage is a restaurant with a menu primarily of hamburgers on the edge of Harvard Yard in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Opened in 1960, Bill Bartley put it up for sale in 2020 so he could retire. Their landlord is Harvard University and rent negotiations in 2019 were so difficult that they might have had to change their location. Known for the creative names for their hamburgers, they temporarily named one "Greedy Landlords". Bartley said "he's only interested in a buyer who will keep the restaurant as it is".They have appeared on Food Paradise (season 17) and Chowdown Countdown. They also appeared in the movie The Social Network.

Ware Hall is an historic residential apartment building at 383 Harvard Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was designed by local architect George Fogerty and built in 1893. Fogerty was also the architect of Claverly Hall, a similar building, on Mount Auburn Street. This five story brick Classical Revival building is a rare example of an apartment house built in Mid Cambridge that was designed to cater to Harvard University students. Apartment blocks of this quality were generally built closer to the Harvard campus, so this one stands out when compared to other apartment house in its immediate surroundings.Ware Hall was viewed as one of the most luxurious lodging options for Harvard students at the time of its construction, and some saw it in terms of changing student preferences. As one newspaper wrote, "It will not do to tell the freshmen of today that a ramshackle room that he is shown was once occupied by Daniel Webster or Thomas Jefferson."The foundation was in granite, the first story is of light Scotch brick, and the belts on the first and fourth stories are Indiana limestone.At the time of its construction, it was the first dormitory to include a passenger elevator.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Dana-Palmer House is an historic house in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The two-story wood-frame house was built in 1822, and is basically Federal in its styling, although it has a Greek Revival porch. The house was built on land belonging to the Dana family, and was occupied by Richard Henry Dana, Sr. among others, before its acquisition by Harvard University in 1835. From 1839 to 1843 the building was used as Harvard's first astronomical observatory, before being converted for use as a residence for its professors. One of its residents of long tenure was George Herbert Palmer, who lived there for nearly forty years. In 1947 the house was moved to its present location, and alterations made for its astronomical uses were reversed.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
